Deadpool 2 might not have better story than Deadpool 1 but it is the only movie ever that have me laughing, then crying and then have me laughing one minute later and then have me cry again. Over and over. For this it has earned a special place in the "dvd rack" for me.
This scene and his relationship with Vanessa in general is the reason Deadpool is my favorite Marvel character and movie franchise.. out of all the romantic relationships in this comic universe, this one was portrayed as the most real, raw and powerful relationships.. they were so natural together and their chemistry was phenomenal.. and I always found it amazing how the most R rated, perverted, immature Marvel character also has one of the most serious relationships and heartwrenching moments you dont expect when watching. I remember how hard this scene hit me first time I watched it, I didn't expect a movie as silly as Deadpool to slap you in the face with one of the most heartbreakingly gorgeous scenes ever.. and they balanced it so well, it still felt natural. Their love is so real, and anyone who's felt that same love probably felt the same way I did.. "Kiss me like you miss me, Red." ♥️😭

This movie made us cry in the first 10 minutes then laugh out butts off in the middle then made us cry all over again in the end. I never thought I’d cry once let alone twice in a Deadpool movie. But I did. And so did many of you.
I haven't lost anyone before, so I view this a little differently but by being born with and having a terminal disease I do get emotional and chills everytime I watch this scene too. I view it as being pulled through from one side to the other as being pulled through and being brought home to Heaven where I am cured of my disease and totally healed and God will then tell me Welcome Home and I will at last finally be able to rest! 🙏
Three parts of this make me feel.. Q: "Is this heaven?" A: "It is now" When he says "I'm not going anywhere without you" And when she says "Kiss me like you miss me Red". All three. 😭
The part that makes me tear up is when Wade gets to hug Vanessa and say he's sorry. I think that's what most people wish they could do to a loved one who's passed away. I know I do...
I honestly don’t believe in hell or heaven but.. This is a beautiful way to think of after your dead, Or like in vampire diaries, They always end up with the ones they love no matter how good or bad.
