I just bought a Glock 34 Gen4 and I am a fan. It is a great shooter and just a blast to shoot. Due to range restrictions I choose to shoot in my own backyard so if I don't have to take an eternity of 2 seconds between shots I can burn through a magazine in under 10 seconds and hit the target every time. Plus I save the price of a couple of boxes of shells.
I’m a Glock fanboy and I love my 34 Gen4, I own 20 different Glocks and it is my favorite over all. I just started getting into competition shooting and it just performs so well with accuracy and reliability. I’m actually thinking of getting a second one! I also run mine stock except for fiber optic sights and Talon grips, I just don’t feel right about changing internal parts. Anyway, great video on a great gun!
Same here. I never liked the cutout on the slide and didn't care for the long slide. But then I saw it was roughly the same size as a 1911 and after looking at them so much online, I've decided my next gun will be the 34 Gen 4. I do like the Gen 5 but I like the price tag of the Gen 4 better. Good video, thanks!
You are absolutely right. Every Glock model is slightly different. I have owned pretty much ever Glock there is at one point in my life. Finally found out that the Gen 4 17 is the one that feels perfect for me. Bought 2 of them within the same week. Ordered a Gen 4 17C that should be here any day now. And I am about to take this recently acquired Gen 4 34 to the range for the first time. The few millimeters of grip reduction in the Gen 4 compared to the Gen 3 or 5 is a huge noticeable difference in the right hands.
@@ScotchNThings I keep hearing people talk about too many risks from shooting ported guns from retention and inside vehicles and what not. I just want one for fun.
Love my Glock Gen 4 34. Have a larger hand (can palm a basketball). The 34 suits my grip and its feel is amazing. Glock 17 and 19, way too small, and I ain;t carrying. I'm home protection. I love the triggering of the Glock so no mod there. The only mod I made are Trujicon HD XR sights to replace the crappy sights Glock puts on all their firearms. Every shooter out there calls their shots and recommends this or that. My advice to all is, find what you like, mod it here or there if needed, and in the end, any firearm that sends lead downrange 1300+ FPS can't go wrong if it feels good in your grip.
Tris Trambo I’m not an expert. I’ve only owned the warren tactical that had red front and blacked out rear. I’m going to go with something like those again.
@@ScotchNThings I just picked one up last week, and I shot it for the first time today. I’m having failure to feed and ejection issues. I can’t finish a 10 round clip without it jamming 3 or 4 times. Do you know why?
I was out looking to buy me a new Glock 19 gen 5 MOS to replace my gen 4 G19 that I just sold and I Aden this Glock 34 gen 4 MOS and I bought it right there! I cannot wait to shoot it and plan on a red dot sight soon . This gun feels great in hand and I will even conceal carry this puppy as I don’t mind carrying a long barrel , I have the Glock 40 MOS long slide with a Holosun and I love that 10mm Cannon also I have the g26 gen 5 so this is a nice fit into my Glock collection . The trigger on the 34 gen 4 is a 4.5 lbs and that’s a nice trigger compared to my other glocks.
I just got the gen 4 Glock 34 yesterday. I am changing out the sights and putting an aluminium trigger shoe on it but leaving the rest stock. I noticed it has a different recoil impulse than my Glock 17. Just getting used to it so far. Its a great shooter but i seem to shoot it high at 25 yards. I Should be good to go once I change out the sights. I really like it so far. How does it shoot for you at distance? Maybe its just my old eyes :)
You can get the 34 gen 5 only as MOS version. This stupid plate with this two big screw really looks ugly. Also I think an optic on a long slide is stupid so the benefit of the long sight view is nullified.
Just bought 1 today - can’t wait to play with it
Congrats I love mine. Great shooter
That is correct regarding the cut-out. Weight is reduced in the slide to allow the same RSA to be used in the 34 and 17.

@@Catgat37 same here. I remember seeing them advertised when I was younger and just thought it was cool.

riffmaster56 Allman yep the 34 is a great gun. I started shooting idpa with it last winter
G17 is the same frame!
I’m considering adding this to my collection. Thanks for sharing, but I’ll need to watch more videos..
Great guns.
I’ve got two Glock 34’s Gen 3 and Gen 4! I’m going to to get the Gen 5 soon. Awesome pistols!!👍🏽
William Young it’s becoming one of my favorites. Think I might get some fiber optic sights for competition
Scotch N Things hey scotch what do you recommend for fiber optic sights.

4 minutes in & i have to stop. No info, just saying you love the gun. Thanks for trying though. God Bless, M.
Just got the MOS version for $635! Can’t wait to try it.
UziNineMillomeetah I like mine but might upgrade to an mos someday
What's the difference?
Agustin the mos version has the plate on top for an optic.

E DG I seem to go high at distance also. I just thought that it might be me and I might be pushing out
I have one and wanted to know why is it lighter than a 19
I’d have to weigh them. Might be the cut out in the slide

I like the gen 5 guns but I didn’t know the 34 was mos only. I like the 4
Ya know, no, I don't know
Ummm 🤔 EDC a Glock 34
NO thanks
It’s not for everyone but I have a friend that does.
Hey, some guys are just bigger in the pants… ‘tis nothing more than what God gave me!
