did I hear you right, 'you are so cute, but so bad-ass' hahahahaha... that the funniest comment from any reactor to this specific and outrageous performance.
Never in my 64 years have I seen anyone like her. She rewrites the songs, composes everything with her band, and can sing anything better than the original. Keep reacting, and you’ll be amazed. Fly me to the moon is amazing
_"She's way ahead of the game if she was able to do this at that age."_ I think everybody had the same thought when they heard Angelina for the first time.
I've listened to this around seventy times. A breathtaking performance for me and I'm not singing. Another dimension to this rendition is the delight the musicians are playing with. Knowing Angelina is pitch + time perfect means they can fully enter the performance. Wow.
She was only 9 years old when she performed this song. It is her tribute to Screamin' Jay Hawkins, an American singer/songwriter. He wrote and performed it in 1956 and Angelina based her performance on the original, although she did make some subtle alterations to both lyrics and melody. As you continue your journey of discovering Angelina, you will come to realise that she does her own arrangements of most of the cover songs she sings. The differences may not be immediately discernible on first listening to them, but they are there. There may be a subtle change in tempo or tone, or more inflexion on some words, or a phrase may differ in pitch from the original. The amount of control that Angelina has over her voice cannot be measured. She never hurries a song. She sings in such a way that the emotions in the lyrics are felt by the listener. In this video, did you notice:Angelina finishing some notes and handing them to the music director, who smiled as he read them? They were her wishes (instructions) to the band how she wished therm to play the music. Then a brief glimpse of Mery Zamani, a well known and respected Iranian artist, who is also Angelina's maternal grandmother and the person who encouraged Angelina in her love of music, especially jazz. And then there is a shot of Angelina holding a candle, upon which was an image of Screamin' Jay Hawkins. And the fact that during the last time she sang "because you're mine" she rose on to her toes. Lastly, did you notice how the "performing" Angelina, singing at a level of maturity far beyond her years, suddenly became a 9-year-old child almost instantaneously once she finished singing. From the time I first heard Angelina, way back at her first audition on Norway's Got Talent, she has amazed me.
@@dhamma58 Confession time! Some months back, another Angelina fan mentioned this in a comment. I checked and it was so and is something I will never forget :-)
You nailed it. Few have noticed how she made this tribute to him and his musical ideas. Jay used to create over the top antics to get attention to his performances. AJ made the best of his work. He'd have -loved- it.
Great reaction , the world has never seen an will never experience an 9 year old girl sing like this ever again hehe ; ) take a look at her take on * I rather go blind * is freaking amazing age 12 hehe enjoy ; ))
Angelina is 9 here and she sings in English! That's her third language. You know she's from Norway. There, everyone speaks Norwegian. From the age of 6, Angelina read and sing English texts and understand what everything means! She is amazing in many ways.
Hi Missy, you have miss this legendary performance by 9 years old Angelina, a once in a lifetime performance, a jazzy classicer from 1956,screaming jay hawkings song, welcome to Angelinas magical world.
this is her music selection and arrangement .. the paper she hands the director at the beginning is her "wishes" for the band's performance, notice his smile. There are videos of her practicing other songs with the musicians (age 7 and beyond) and she is giving them direction in the form of "wishes" and soliciting their thoughts as well. The musicians call her the "boss", beginning I think, with this session.
She has a perfect ear perfect pitch high and low register and musicality is Elvis world she understands what she’s singing And she send that out to you from her spirit your spirit
One of the best Coach reaction I have seen 🤗 Thanks a lot 🙏 There is a reason Angelina👣 is popularly is called "The Angel with Thousand Voices" as she Never uses the same Voice twice, every song has it's own Voice different tone every time. Arranges every Song and most instrumentals Herself from the start go about 5 or 6 years old, extraordinary Songwriter as well, In my Opinion Angelina 👣is probably the most Versatile Soul Singer on the Planet today.. No matter what Genre, Style or what Era the Songs are from She Always delivers perfection. She was 9 here, at the age of 7 was when All started with her Audition to Norway got talent Singing "Gloomy Sunday" by Billie Holiday good way to start a Journey into Angelinas Wonderland 😊 ~ OneLove 🕊
An interesting fact about Angelina is that she selects and arranges all of the music she does by herself. The notes that she is seen writing in the beginning of the video were changes to the arrangement that she requested the director to do with the band. The reason he smiled when he read it was that she worded it as her "wishes" for changes to the arrangement. Another amazing fact about this particular cover is that the original that she was covering was the very first performer, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, who performed this song in an exaggerated, theatrical way, which was completely over the top. Angelina took that performance and changed it to make it more melodious and composed and really came up with a masterpiece of a performance. The candle she was holding at the beginning had a picture of Screamin' Jay on it. Here is a link to his original performance of this song - ua-cam.com/video/orNpH6iyokI/v-deo.html. It is really worth a look if you have never seen it before. It will give you an even deeper appreciation for what she accomplished here.
Hi Missy & thank you for that awesome & wonderful breakdown of Angie. She was 9 yo here. (We love it when coaches get nerdy on Angie) On “I put a spell on you” Angie said it in an interview a year later (when she was around 10 at interview) about this song: “It means love Desperate love. It's very special, it's almost voodoo The original is very nice, and when I scream it is a desperate cry that everyone should love each other.” Angie chooses all her own songs & does all her own arrangements ever since she was very young, even when she did the Screaming Jay Hawkins “I put a spell on you” & even younger at 7 & 8 when she was on NGT. Remember, Angie never sings a song the same way twice, so you could say they’ll all be 1st time reactions. Thank you for the link for the interview. I had never seen that before & it was absolutely beautiful to hear her tell the story in her own words & I can't believe what she wrote in her diary at such a young age! These prodigies are just amazing in every way, not just musically, but intellectually & spiritually as well. Wow. :-)
Angelina was obviously special right out of the gate at 7. Her confidence and her skill have been invincible since then. She's one of a kind (and her growth and development are practically all on video). 😎
Really enjoyed your enthusiastic reaction! Please continue down the musical rabbit hole of Angelina Jordan, you will never be disappointed. only about 145 or so songs to choose from!
Great reaction video thank you, love the content. From the start, Angelina has shown that she has an incredible ear and vocal ability. Her a cappella performance before the judges at Norway's Got Talent for example ua-cam.com/video/LXknLZDoRVQ/v-deo.html when she'd only just turned 8 years old!
As a retired music educator and performing musician, I would strongly discourage young singers from trying to emulate the growls and screams Angelina does here. They could seriously damage their voices and potentially never be able to sing again. I imagine a vocal coach told her to cut back on those because she never sang this like that again in subsequent performances, although they were fantastic too. Angelina's breath support is astounding, allowing her to easily cover her impressive vocal range. Look at her cover of Adele's "All I Ask" and watch how she uses her diaphragm and head positions, especially in her high register. Amazing. And she's sitting down too! I had maybe 2-3 prodigies during my years as a teacher, but no one even near what Angelina does. She is truly a once in a lifetime artist!
She's singing like this because itis her interpretation of Screaming Jay Hawkins and his version of this song. It was never something she did a lot of before or after.
Because as she grew older her voice and volume was not the same. She will never sound that way again . Kids voice never remains the same. So music educator. You should know that.
Nine years and two months old when this was recorded. Watching her progress from six to eight is beyond incredible. She toured the world beginning at eight and by ten she is professional in every way. She is superior to all past or present as a vocalist. She has no fear which results in her adaptation of the most iconic songs of the past fifty years into performances often superior to the original artists. Have fun.
For an insight into this little genius, check out Portrait of a Child (also from Jay Hawkins). She is working a practice session with the same musicians. You see her gentle coaxing of these professionals and why the call her "the boss."
⬆️ This (Portrait of a Child) truly is an insightful practice session, but it’s essential to listen to the “enhanced audio” version (created by Chris Walker). It also has English subtitles for those who cannot understand Norwegian. 👍😉
She sings from her soul to your soul. If you want to hear something special, ten(10) year old Angelina Jordan sings "I'm Still Holding Out For You". This song will move you, you will like it, Your welcome in advance. The link is: Angelina Jordan - I'm Still Holding Out For You ua-cam.com/video/Dv8mjCh5iiE/v-deo.html This song will blow your mind. It was a demo she recorded at 10 years old about a week before her 11th birthday. I promise you will want to hear it sooner rather than later, you will thank me for it. Even if you do not end up doing a reaction please listen to it. But I think you will want to do a reaction after hearing the first line, and the last minute of the song you will find it hard not to replay right after you hear it the first time. Even if you do not react let me know what you think. ANGELINA JORDAN - I'm Still Holding out for You ua-cam.com/video/Dv8mjCh5iiE/v-deo.html
There are plenty of good singers in all over the world which can be fantastic. But, only one makes the difference and is unique.Yes, Angelina Jordan .No doubt about it.IMHO
great reaction. Angelina does her own arrangemets. She is such a amaze talent. She has written 5 songs. Shield for her mother for keeping her safe while following her dream and Million Miles about her grandfather's passing. Also Oslo, what is Life and 7th Heaven. I think Angelina has about 140+ covers on her channel. Love her.
Don't let that sweet innocent little face fool you when she starts singing she is a beast💪 there's not a better vocalist out there at any age Angelina is going to be a superstar
Welcome ton the world of Angelina Jordan, The Barefoot Princess , The Queen of Jazz , the Angel with 1,000 voices. No matter what age you see her perform at she never disappoints! She auditioned for Norway's got talent at age 7 and won the competition at age 8 with over 46% of the total vote, This performance was done at the age of 9 years and 2 months. She picks all her songs and does her own arrangements of them. She is definitely a once in a lifetime talent. She has done over 140 covers , making each one her own and often better than the original. She also has at least 5 original songs of which I suggest you listen to Million Miles and 7th Heaven.as for her covers I suggest you listen to a couple of her most recent - Billie Jean originally done by Michael Jackson and Yesterday ,originally done by the Beatles . They both will blow your mind. Enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole of the Barefoot Princess.
I keep on cracking up every time I recall her 'being directed to where the mike is' on AGT for her performance of Bohemian Rhapsody. As in... {Host} " the mike's over there on the stage - think you can find it?" {Angelina} " Yeah thanks..."
Thank you for another great Angelina reaction - & especially thank you since it's one of her epic arrangements & performances while still being so young. Still recommend that you go back to all 4 of her NGT performances: Gloomy Sunday, I'm A Fool To Want You , Bang Bang & Summertime when she was 7-8 rears old - & then Fly Me To The Moon on The View at age 8. Finally - for a mind blowing preview of things to come, check out I'm Still Holding out For You which she performed at age 10. Thank you. And may GOD continue to watch over & bless Angelina Jordan.
Thank you for taking the time to do this marvelous, detailed reaction. She arranged this piece based on Screaming Jay Hawkins (1956, I believe) and those were directions to the band. She auditioned for, and won, Norway's Got Talent at age 7/8 with jazz. This is a studio session with professional musicians at age 9. Yes, now in 2022, at age 16, she is a mezzo-alto. Again, than you so much for this reaction.
Cute? Yes 😁 Extremely talented a million yeses )) She will have the rhythm because this is entirely her own arrangement! Aged 9 years 2 months..extraordinary!
This song has been covered all over the place since SJH made it. I gotta say I'm quite flabbergasted that this rendition is by far the best. The way she actually toned it up, instead of down, made me feel she was the boss at home.. Screaming at her man to get his butt back inside the house;-)
Extraordinary reaction and analisis. Please, react to her cover of I who have nothing, made famous by Tom Jones, when she was 6 y. o. at her school musical studio, as a complimentary subject, recorded by her music teacher. It is the first amazing video of more than 140 that you can find on youtube, 5 of them with songs originally written and composed by her. She arranges all the songs she covers at least since she was 9 yo., and most of them better than the original.
This is why I say she is the best singer ever! What she can do at this age, professionals have difficulty. She is consistent and can make a musical decision in a split micro second, Check out "It's a Man's World when she was 12, she catches Conductor off guard. He thinks she missed, than pulls her change in which you can tell he really liked and was shocked! God Bless!
Angelina is so talented, the arrangement is hers like all her covers. With love, they call her the boss.. There’s a lovely video where she is jamming/ rehearsing with her band where you get a little feel of this, it’s amazing. It’s called Portrait of a child . I recommend the enhanced version it’s got subs otherwise they speak norwegian..
Vibrato all the way through vocal fry -- just insane for a 9 year old. And you're absolutely right: AJ is playing around and just having a blast with this very sophisticated song.
Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 If there was ever a reason to believe in something greater than us, or in Reincarnation, Angelina Jordan is it ❤️💙 Loved your reaction!!! ❤️💙 ***RIP SCREAMIN JAY HAWKINS***
UNA NIÑA INCREÍBLE ESPECTACULAR CON UNA VOZ ÚNICA ESPECIAL GUAUUUUUU ANGELINA QUE CONTINÚEN TUS ÉXITOS TE SOBRA TALENTO MUÑEQUITA HERMOSA 😇👣💯💯💥👍👍👍👍👍👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤❤❤❤❤
Check out her singing "I Who Have Nothing" in a studio at age SIX. Impressive. She wanted to go on Norway's Got Talent when she was five, but the show said contestants had to be at least seven. So she waited two years - and won!
Honestly Angelina is has always been the coach. She has always been the one in control. You see her, at the beginning of this video, making a list of things she wanted the band to do. The musicians on set with her for this video have stated that Angelina was in full control and was the Boss of the stage.
You should see "Screamin 'Jay" Hawkins, who apparently has the original? Thiats version is what she is covers her, she shows picture of him at the cup with a bon through his nose. You will better understand why she sings as she does
listen to her final and contest winning performance of "Summertime", age 8, on Norway's Got Talent .. mind numbing and easily as good as any version I've heard from the greats of times past love your enthusiasm and explanations
The bit that always gets me about this performance is the last note. Where does all the air come from to sustain that for so long? Such a big and long note to come from such a little body!
Thank you for your excellent reaction to Angelina. I have watched 100 reviews and yours is perhaps the best. You pick out her tremendous phrasing and enunciation which is beyond her years. Also I loved ❤ how you had to stop and edit your initial response because you were as most people are plain speechless 🙊. You had to just pause and collect your thoughts. Wonderful 👏 👏 👏
Thank you for your great reaction. And yes; - we all can almost not wait at all to see and hear what she will achieve in her 20s and 30s. Impossible to imagine. No doubt however, she will be a star on the sky of music in our life. As you might understand, Angelina was born in the comfort sone with music. It`s all in her. As one judge stated as she just heard Angelina`s very first audition for the "Norwegian Talents" show; "-You ARE music", and another judge; "- You was born to sing". BTW: Her audition was "Gloomy Sunday", - covering Billie Holiday!! She was 7!! I think even that fact is hard to take in, in the first place.
This is all Angelina. Her selection, her arrangement & interpretation (a tribute to Screamin' Jay Hawkins), her "wishes" for the band, and the many natural vocal techniques she employs including mature timing, phrasing, spacing, and control of her sound (rasp, vocal fry, extra air, aspirants, glottal stops, vowel modification, etc.). I believe this is the strongest evidence that Angelina is a vocal prodigy. And you can see it even earlier, in her studio recording of "I Who Have Nothing" at age six found here: ua-cam.com/video/OtPkxHf_r0M/v-deo.html (this version has English subtitles for the post-recording conversation -- which is, of course, in Norwegian since this was done in her hometown of Oslo).
I don’t know what other performances by Angelina you have heard, but she has a treasure trove of over 130 performances on UA-cam. If you haven’t seen the 4 songs she did to win Norway's got talent, I highly recommend you start there, and then pick and choose from her repertoire. Don’t miss her live performance of “Feeling Good”. I prefer the indoor version with a lot of brass, but the outdoor version with a smaller band is equally impressive. New subscriber for more Angelina.
Missy, nice to listen to you. I listened to the whole 17:12 and you brought up quite a few points I've never heard before. Angelina? Isn't she remarkable? What really cracks me up is many other Vocal Coaches like yourself have an absolute field day with her. What's amazing is it's as if you are discussing and pointing out vocal techniques for an accomplished artist, at least in her 30's. When she rearranges a classic song (which she's been doing since she's 9 years old!) the song becomes hers and, incredibly many people enjoy her version rather than the original. Stay with her. She will change voices, change genre's, play the piano, sing with orchestra's, live bands, record video's with just a guitar or piano as accompaniment. And, of course, perform all these songs barefoot because of her desire to never forget there are children in this world who don't own a pair of shoes. I'm sure, down the road when she is the greatest, most recognizable artist in the world she will initiate some kind of action to deal with that global problem. Other Angelina "Angels" will tell you the complete story of how singing barefoot came to be. A very revealing story which will let you know what kind of a wonderful person she is. Enough. I know I've gone on too long. Enjoy her and if you read as many messages/comments as you can you will get an idea of what she means to us.
John is spot on. I would add, that she always includes a tip of the hat to the principle artists associated with the song, out of respect. In this case, there are two artists known for there renditions of this song, which are Screamin Jay Hawkins (pictured on the mug she holds up), and the great Nina Simone. 😊✌
This is the most genuine reaction i have seen to this song by Angelina. I struggled to come up with the descriptive words for this performance, you nailed it with your combination of innocence with badasse, i loved your sheer amazement at her talent with her age and could see you struggled with her age as to what you were listening to, yet you decscibed this performance better than all the reactions i have previously seen. I am addicted to watching this and amazed at how it gets better each time i listen to it. You have that to look forward to, i am glad Angelina has put her Spell on you too. I look forward with excitement to listen to you reacting to all of Angelina's song's. Thank you for your Genuine enthusiasm in this reaction. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🌏
Alittle fun fact : Not only did she sing this song she arranged it. 9 years old! 😳 You can see she hands one of the musicians a piece of paper in the beginning with some notes on it.. 9 years old! Crazy!
You are just getting to know this extraordinary young lady. She is a child prodigy .. a music savant. She started singing at two .. totally in love with and drawn to jazz. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, was also a child prodigy ..(her focus is art .. the fabric of the outfit Angelina wore on AGT was made from one of her grandmother"s paintings.) Her grandmother has always been a jazz lover and Angelina responded to it before she had turned two. Her grandmother taught her how to work UA-cam so Angelina could pull up all her favorites .. Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald .. all the jazz greats .. and Angelina would play a song over and over and over .. little bits at a time .. and played around with her voice because she really wanted to make those sounds herself .. from super young she had dedication and focus that was amazing .. in my opinion she was teaching herself from the inside out. She could do hours at a time of listening and copying what she heard .. She has been called by many 'the girl with a thousand voices' because she can sound like Billie, like Ella, like Sinatra .. etc.. I highly recommend that you listen to the video of the four songs she sang on Norway's Got Talent, when she was seven (turned 8 during the duration of the show.) She won the show and became a world-wide internet sensation .. especially with her version of Gloomy Sunday (Billie Holiday). T he video is truly worth seeing .. especially for a music person like yourself .. You will understand how early she was exceptional .. like you just saw on I Put a Spell On You. To see her at 7 singing Billie's Gloomy Sunday, then, a cappella and brilliantly, she sang I'm a Fool to Want You (Frank Sinatra), then Bang Bang (Sonny Bono .. made famous by Nancy Sinatra) and to top it all off, she sang Gershwin's Summertime. All four are absolutely brilliant .. and truly worth seeing. You will understand Angelina and her amazing voice in a different way after seeing this video. Make sure you get the one that has translations so you can understand the judges .. it is worth hearing their reactions to her for sure. She did the arrangements to I Put a Spell On You and Bohemian Rhapsody, both of which you've seen (and most of her covers are her arrangements also). She always knows what she wants from each band musician she works with. The amazing musicians on this video called her the "Boss" and really loved her. She is very sensitive as well as smart and deeply humble and generous. You'll be getting Angelina stories from all the Angels (her fans .. and yes, I consider myself one .. I've been following her since 2014, when she won Norway's Got Talent.) So, Welcome to Angelina's rabbit hole .. it is a fabulous journey and people here are deeply kind and devoted to Angelina and her family and their amazing journey together. I'm glad you are with us and hope you do many more Angelina reactions. She has over 160 videos on UA-cam .. mostly covers, five originals and some interviews. I look forward to seeing more of your reactions!!
Thank you for your reaction. You are surprised? Listen to her in a studio at 6 singing " I who have nothing" and at NGT when she was 7 and won when she was 8. Her second song on NGT was acapella. I subscribed with the hope of more Angelina reactions.
You should go back to where it all started on Norways got talent age 7with her performances Gloomy Sunday Summertime and Bang Bang you shot me down...amazing 💚
I love your reaction videos of Angelina. Its great to understand the mechanics of how she is singing and how amazing she is at that age. It would be great to hear you do a reaction to her singing ‘I’m a fool to want you’ in A cappella
Your reaction here is also.....Wow wow wow! Enjoyed and learned from your many technical comments. Looking forward to more of your AG reactions. Thank you.
Wow, great reaction, and one of the only (I'm aware of) to make the comparison to Haley Reinhart, who I consider a wonderful technician (in the best way possible) her work with PMJ, is just masterful. Just given her toolkit, it boggles the mind what Angelina will do once she's gained someone like Haley's experience.
Missy, you still haven't seen or heard the Angelina of today (15). The 6 songs she has released in the last year are all amazing, but my favorite is her Jazzy/Pop version of Michael Jackson's iconic song, Billie Jean. ua-cam.com/video/xp67k9wk2Mw/v-deo.html
here she is 9yo old, she has rearranged the whole song, the original is from Screamin 'Jay Hawkins 1956 all the bands she plays with call her "The Boss" because she sets the tone but in a very respectful way she is 15yo today There are over 10 covers of all the popular stars as well as classic and 5 originals that she wrote herself (google translater)
Great reaction! Enjoyed your analysis very much. If you haven't seen it, go and watch Screamin Jay Hawkins' 1956 original to see Angelina's arranging genius. Angelina was already a veteran here, having started on Norway's Got Talent when 7 and winning it after turning 8yo. There she sang Billie Holiday "Gloomy Sunday" and an a cappella version of "I'm a Fool To Want You", "Bang Bang" , and finally "Summertime" for the win. She is extraordinary and surprises us at every turn. Do more AJ. She has 135+ covers and originals for you to choose from..!!
She started singing lessons as an after school program around 5 or 6 years old so by the time she did this recording she had been taking lessons for about 4 years.
Yes please! More reactions to Angelina! It's a Man's World or I'd Rather go Blind will both floor you...would love t hear your take on those covers. Thanks for a very interesting, informative, fun and enthusiastic reaction!
What's also really amazing is she does her arrangements. The Greatest Performance ever by The Greatest of all Time. You should listen to her cover of Etta James, I'd Rather go Blind. Now that's vocal fry. I suggest all 4 songs, in order, on Norway's Got Talent 2014 at 7 and 8 years old. With captions Some reactors do all 4 in 1 reaction which allows you to see her progression. It's been a month since your last reaction to Angelina. At that rate it will take you over 10 years to listen to her 140 covers and originals.
did I hear you right, 'you are so cute, but so bad-ass' hahahahaha... that the funniest comment from any reactor to this specific and outrageous performance.
Yeah, she is 9 with 30 years of professional experience!
LOL and true
"So cute, but so bad-ass!". Great description of our bare-footed princess! 😊
Never in my 64 years have I seen anyone like her. She rewrites the songs, composes everything with her band, and can sing anything better than the original. Keep reacting, and you’ll be amazed. Fly me to the moon is amazing
_"She's way ahead of the game if she was able to do this at that age."_
I think everybody had the same thought when they heard Angelina for the first time.
Simply put: the most incredible thing I have ever seen on UA-cam. Dimash, sit down.
Dimwho? 😁
You got that absolutely right, Daniel, she dwarfs him!
Now you have to go all the way back to Angelina's audition singing "Gloomy Sunday" at Norway's Got Talent at age 7!
I've listened to this around seventy times. A breathtaking performance for me and I'm not singing. Another dimension to this rendition is the delight the musicians are playing with. Knowing Angelina is pitch + time perfect means they can fully enter the performance. Wow.
This is not just cute - this is powerhouse legendary performance for all ages!!! Great reaction!👍👍🎶
I must admit to never noticing that rising up on toes after all these many times seeing this performance! It must be the Tenfoot eye...
@@dhamma58 Confession time! Some months back, another Angelina fan mentioned this in a comment. I checked and it was so and is something I will never forget :-)
@@alberttenfoot I guess the new form should be about the usefulness of comments for valuable insight and/or misinformation...choose wisely!
I too saw that comment and I believe that came from a Mr. Donaldson
Confident?
She should be.
This is HER arrangement.
Angelina is fantastic, you will be surprised with each song, I recommend feeling good with 10 years, thanks Missy . sdos 🇦🇷 🇦🇷
this is her music selection and arrangement .. the paper she hands the director at the beginning is her "wishes" for the band's performance, notice his smile. There are videos of her practicing other songs with the musicians (age 7 and beyond) and she is giving them direction in the form of "wishes" and soliciting their thoughts as well. The musicians call her the "boss", beginning I think, with this session.
Ml
Great review
Yes she is the boss
She has a perfect ear perfect pitch high and low register and musicality is Elvis world she understands what she’s singing And she send that out to you from her spirit your spirit
One of the best Coach reaction I have seen 🤗
Thanks a lot 🙏
There is a reason Angelina👣 is popularly is called "The Angel with Thousand Voices" as she Never uses the same Voice twice, every song has it's own Voice different tone every time.
She was 9 here, at the age of 7 was when All started with her Audition to Norway got talent Singing "Gloomy Sunday" by Billie Holiday good way to start a
Journey into Angelinas Wonderland 😊
~ OneLove 🕊
Welcome to the world of Angelina Jordan 🥰
It's all her too.
Yes indeed Phil. I really understood the complexity and advanced nature of Angelina’s interpretation only after I viewed SJH’s original version. 👍😉❤️
Hi Missy & thank you for that awesome & wonderful breakdown of Angie. She was 9 yo here. (We love it when coaches get nerdy on Angie) On “I put a spell on you”
Angie said it in an interview a year later (when she was around 10 at interview) about this song: “It means love Desperate love.
You might want to start from the very beginning were it all started.

Why does Angie performs barefoot
. Angelina's short little interview explaining why she performs barefoot. ua-cam.com/video/-cCLDY0CSZ8/v-deo.html
Amen and mic drops!!!!
She's singing like this because itis her interpretation of Screaming Jay Hawkins and his version of this song. It was never something she did a lot of before or after.
And a modern-day Mozart
Because as she grew older her voice and volume was not the same. She will never sound that way again . Kids voice never remains the same. So music educator. You should know that.
Who on God's Earth has ever been able to sing like this. Not just as a child
but at any time in their adult careers. No one, that's who !
She defines the definition of Old Soul...... Or at least should be listed as such if there was a list.
joseph Different drummer and bass player.
She sings from her soul to your soul.
If you want to hear something special, ten(10) year old Angelina Jordan sings "I'm Still Holding Out For You". This song will move you, you will like it, Your welcome in advance. The link is:
Angelina Jordan - I'm Still Holding Out For You
ua-cam.com/video/Dv8mjCh5iiE/v-deo.html
This song will blow your mind.
ANGELINA JORDAN - I'm Still Holding out for You

Another great analysis thanks Angelina Amazing thanks 😃😇❤👍
There are plenty of good singers in all over the world which can be fantastic. But, only one makes the difference and is unique.Yes, Angelina Jordan .No doubt about it.IMHO
She's dynamite!! Her new EP is 🔥 with all originals!!
Norway's got talent, (summertime), you will love it, age 8, totally different sound. Check it out! 🇺🇸👍🔥💯
great reaction. Love her.
Great reaction sunshine,, the world is her place of business and the music industry is her playground,,
👣🌬🌎
Thank you for your reaction of Angelina 👍😊😊😊😊
Excellent reaction. Thank you. Continue to fallow.
Lady. I love how you enjoyed her exploit. She was great. I love Reactors who notices things. Your facial reactions says it all.
You watch her here, and you can tell, this is Angelina's world, and she owns it!
Angelina start singing when she’s was 7 year old. So proud of you wished you good luck very things come true in your life
you can see the musicians understand: oh... this is going on my CV 'cos this is insane, and i was a part off it
Vibrato all the way through vocal fry -- just insane for a 9 year old. And you're absolutely right: AJ is playing around and just having a blast with this very sophisticated song.
Amazing
I've heard few singers with Angelina's attention to the most subtle dynamics
You will better understand why she sings as she does
listen to her final and contest winning performance of "Summertime", age 8, on Norway's Got Talent .. mind numbing and easily as good as any version I've heard from the greats of times past
love your enthusiasm and explanations
r. douglas I thought her version of Summertime with KORK was far superior.
Missy, You just had a Spell Put on You, like she put a Angelina Jordan Spell on all her Fans!
The bit that always gets me about this performance is the last note. Where does all the air come from to sustain that for so long? Such a big and long note to come from such a little body!
Please do more Angelina reactions! Her take on ‘I’m feeling good’ is phenomenal.
i dont understand how your response to witnessing artistic brilliance is laughfter and giggles
Angelina is Probably Thanking Jazz One and a half
Probably the very best reaction to this performance I've seen. I REALLY appreciate your breakdown of dynamics and technique.
Angelina was nine years old in this performance. She also wrote a book and had it published at nine years old.
Absolutely loved your technical analysis of Angelina’s voice and your level of enthusiasm!❤
New subscriber for more Angelina.
superstar
Her first time in a Studio was when she was 6 years old. Her Grandmother did the video and the song she sang was called, "I who have Nothing'.
@MM: I love that you're laughing -- This is such a playful performance from Angelina at age 9.
I've been following her since 2014, when she won Norway's Got Talent.)
So, Welcome to Angelina's rabbit hole .. it is a fabulous journey and people here are deeply kind and devoted to Angelina and her family and their amazing journey together.
I'm glad you are with us and hope you do many more Angelina reactions. She has over 160 videos on UA-cam .. mostly covers, five originals and some interviews. I look forward to seeing more of your reactions!!
she won Norway's got talent at age 7.
100% BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!⭐️
"She's so cute but so badass" great comment!
Please link the original video to help support her. Thanks!
Thank you for your reaction. You are surprised? Listen to her in a studio at 6 singing " I who have nothing" and at NGT when she was 7 and won when she was 8. Her second song on NGT was acapella. I subscribed with the hope of more Angelina reactions.
There are videos of her in the studio at 6 years old, reading lyrics and singing in her 3rd language. AT 6 YEARS OLD!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Your reaction here is also.....Wow wow wow! Enjoyed and learned from your many technical comments. Looking forward to more of your AG reactions. Thank you.
Wow, great reaction, and one of the only (I'm aware of) to make the comparison to Haley Reinhart, who I consider a wonderful technician (in the best way possible) her work with PMJ, is just masterful. Just given her toolkit, it boggles the mind what Angelina will do once she's gained someone like Haley's experience.
you should listen to her cover 'wicked game' it 's very good!
"So cute, but so badass". In a nutshell.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Missy, you still haven't seen or heard the Angelina of today (15). The 6 songs she has released in the last year are all amazing, but my favorite is her Jazzy/Pop version of Michael Jackson's iconic song, Billie Jean. ua-cam.com/video/xp67k9wk2Mw/v-deo.html
This is all Angelina. Her arrangement and she was letting the band know what she wanted from them.
here she is 9yo old, she has rearranged the whole song, the original is from Screamin 'Jay Hawkins 1956 all the bands she plays with call her "The Boss" because she sets the tone but in a very respectful way she is 15yo today There are over 10 covers of all the popular stars as well as classic and 5 originals that she wrote herself (google translater)
With captions
Some reactors do all 4 in 1 reaction which allows you to see her progression.
It's been a month since your last reaction to Angelina.
At that rate it will take you over 10 years to listen to her 140 covers and originals.
If u want to experoence her live she will hold a concert in Vegas on February 29 ❤
