@ Stylehottopic, I quite get where u are coming from i.e we Africans need to start promoting our own stuff, and yes that is true. HOWEVER, this Lady presenting this house has one job with this video and one job alone ~ Sell This Mansion! Sales job entails giving detailed descriptions and specifications of a product for the benefit of prospective customers so they are well informed in details of what they are paying for. Where do I start from? There is so much to comment on. The house is no doubt a masterpiece of architecture, in the colour and decor I admire. However, there are certain aspects that make practicalities a challenge, especially when it comes to maintenance and cleaning. And that is why a contributor remarked that it's more suitable for offices, rather than a home. Professional services need to used in order to clean the triple heighted windows in the foyer, anteroom and ground floor living room for instance. As a lady, I just wonder how much that will cost, since that would render me redundant in the cleaning department. I will also like to know the benefits of having separate dry and wet kitchens. Permit me to also point out, that the BATHROOM typically consists of the toilet, bathtub and/or the shower head. So there is no need to say "bathroom and toilet" when they're housed in the same place unless they're in separate spaces. Furthermore, having this masterpiece in a built up area still exposes the swimmers to being overlooked by the neighbors. A property like this would have benefitted from the seclusion of a wooded area with lots of greenery. I think developers should take note, because, the aesthetics of this building is lost in this built up area, but would have been spectacular in a more secluded location where it could really make a statement, particularly at night. I concur with one of the contributors who regretted the lack of indigenous locally sourced materials. It irked me to know that everything came from Italy. This contributes to the air miles and global warming, which we as a people need to take responsibility for, with regards to how it affects our own environment. We have granite and marble in Nigeria and I am looking forward to seeing a house showcasing the beauty of Nigerian marble and other artisanal stones in our architecture, such that can rival the best in the world. Rather than prosper foreign economies, we MUST look inward. It just seems wrong to build a statement house with outside materials. Please, developers, make us proud. Lastly, I want to commend you for rocking your natural hair. The developers should take a cue from you and showcase the very best of Nigerian materials in their design.
thank you for reading my mind. your comment is exaclty my same point of view. the imported everything really took me out of this, i know naija can compete, we just need to put in the initial effort!
It looks like a grand, opulent and modern office building instead of a home. It lacks greenery, warmth and color. I'm not trying to be negative because a lot of homes I've seen in Nigeria is beautiful and sophisticated.
If im spending that much l want plenty landscaping , large green compound and a tree lined long driveway, and loads of privacy. This looks like an office😉😉😅😅
This house has quality finishing with natural light coming in and cross ventilation windows. Thank God, the builder put that in consideration. Good job! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Okay, the aesthetics of this house and the environment is really really nice. Unfortunately, it's priced at twice the amount that I'm willing to pay for it. Please tell the developers to build a different version where they sourced the materials locally, and they are able achieve a realistic pricing. I'm fine with locally made luxury housing materials. 🤷🤷
Wonderful Lekki luxury mansion, I like the three stories mansion design. It's a little too white to my liking. I would have loved to see some natural elements incorporated into the interior design, I think with the white walls, it will be marvelous. Also in the kitchen, a pop of color or abstract designs on the cabinets would have been lovely. Other than that, it's a very lovely home, love the spacious openings and high ceiling
