Yeah, in the past when I was interested in someone I would want to date them after only speaking to them for a few days (I got my heart broken this way so I’d like to think I’ve learned/learned from past experiences) you really have to spend time getting to know someone and even being friends with someone before dating that person or being in a relationship with that person and I didn’t know that when I was younger but now since I’m older I know this. I am not proud of things/some things I did when I was younger but would like to think I’ve learned from them and I’m fully ok being single till I work through my own crap before getting into a relationship with anyone tbh bc I never would want to burden someone or make them feel like they were responsible for me (like “fixing” me so to speak for example) I never want anyone to feel like they have or would have to fix me but honestly till I sift and work through all of my personal problems/issues I would be too much mentally probably even for the strongest guy (I never want to feel like I’m burdening someone with/by my problems or even just talking to someone about my problems) I’ve even lost friends (or maybe I should say “friends”) bc the person acted like they were there for me and supported me but one day my friend totally attacked and went off on me being like “All you do is talk about your problems and how bad your life is etc. etc.” this CRUSHED me so tbh I have the biggest trust issues ever bc of friends who treated me like crap before (in the past) and bc I went for the wrong guys when I was younger (I was insecure so I didn’t really care who I dated) the guys were trash, I had trash friends and now I’m on my own but it takes a special type of person who can appreciate me wholeheartedly to be my friend or even a future partner I was burned and fucked over by so many people (so-called friends that I’ve had in my life) I’m very weary about who I trust and don’t trust now I am a vulnerable person (and still am) and especially with guys like they would see that and use it to just hurt me anyways you don’t have to read this novel of a comment just felt like I needed to get some stuff from off of my chest but the main point of my comment was: I wasn’t neither smart nor wise when it came to dating or choosing a romantic partner when I was younger (in my early twenties and such) but at 27 years old I feel like I learned a lot and a lot from past/previous experiences and bad as it also might sound going through/just going through these things also made me even more of a stronger woman I don’t love myself completely but I’m proud of the person I’m becoming now

You said that cheating doesn't make someone a "bad" person. Personally I feel as if there's children involved in any way, whether you're the cheater and are one of the parents of said child or you're the other man or woman and know of the child(ren). Personally I don't think you can trust someone who does that whatsoever. It's one thing to feel unaligned to your partner or to not care and cheat, it's another to hurt your kids like that.
Cheating makes you a bad person imo, unless there are very specific circumstances(like being an escape from an abusive relationship). And depending on the person, can be extremely traumatic, regardless of the presence or not of children.. Like personally, I'm not someone that feels attraction easily and I have severe trust issues, the moment a partner betrays my trust they're giving me gigantic trauma that will destroy me for years, and it will trigger badly my CPTSD.

Bad actions don’t make someone a bad person? What does someone make a bad person then if not their actions, especially if there is a pattern and happening time and time again.
Imo,a single action that isn’t repeated can be perceived as “bad” from the outside. Context matters though, and oftentimes people (even those involved) have limited insight into the build up, dynamics, internal processes, etc. that make up that action. The outcome might actually hurt people, definitely, but bad actions don’t necessarily come from a bad place. What actually DOES make a person bad is to repeat that action over and over again. To show a certain negative pattern repeatedly with different people makes it highly likely that there is no will to change, or that they are not even aware that it would be necessary to do things differently; because they don’t see it as a problem inherently. That’s at least how I view it :)

I am not proud of things/some things I did when I was younger but would like to think I’ve learned from them and I’m fully ok being single till I work through my own crap before getting into a relationship with anyone tbh bc I never would want to burden someone or make them feel like they were responsible for me (like “fixing” me so to speak for example) I never want anyone to feel like they have or would have to fix me but honestly till I sift and work through all of my personal problems/issues I would be too much mentally probably even for the strongest guy (I never want to feel like I’m burdening someone with/by my problems or even just talking to someone about my problems) I’ve even lost friends (or maybe I should say “friends”) bc the person acted like they were there for me and supported me but one day my friend totally attacked and went off on me being like “All you do is talk about your problems and how bad your life is etc. etc.” this CRUSHED me so tbh I have the biggest trust issues ever bc of friends who treated me like crap before (in the past) and bc I went for the wrong guys when I was younger (I was insecure so I didn’t really care who I dated) the guys were trash, I had trash friends and now I’m on my own but it takes a special type of person who can appreciate me wholeheartedly to be my friend or even a future partner I was burned and fucked over by so many people (so-called friends that I’ve had in my life) I’m very weary about who I trust and don’t trust now I am a vulnerable person (and still am) and especially with guys like they would see that and use it to just hurt me anyways you don’t have to read this novel of a comment just felt like I needed to get some stuff from off of my chest but the main point of my comment was: I wasn’t neither smart nor wise when it came to dating or choosing a romantic partner when I was younger (in my early twenties and such) but at 27 years old I feel like I learned a lot and a lot from past/previous experiences and bad as it also might sound going through/just going through these things also made me even more of a stronger woman I don’t love myself completely but I’m proud of the person I’m becoming now

You said that cheating doesn't make someone a "bad" person. Personally I feel as if there's children involved in any way, whether you're the cheater and are one of the parents of said child or you're the other man or woman and know of the child(ren). Personally I don't think you can trust someone who does that whatsoever. It's one thing to feel unaligned to your partner or to not care and cheat, it's another to hurt your kids like that.

Cheating makes you a bad person imo, unless there are very specific circumstances(like being an escape from an abusive relationship). And depending on the person, can be extremely traumatic, regardless of the presence or not of children..
Like personally, I'm not someone that feels attraction easily and I have severe trust issues, the moment a partner betrays my trust they're giving me gigantic trauma that will destroy me for years, and it will trigger badly my CPTSD.

Bad actions don’t make someone a bad person? What does someone make a bad person then if not their actions, especially if there is a pattern and happening time and time again.
Imo,a single action that isn’t repeated can be perceived as “bad” from the outside. Context matters though, and oftentimes people (even those involved) have limited insight into the build up, dynamics, internal processes, etc. that make up that action. The outcome might actually hurt people, definitely, but bad actions don’t necessarily come from a bad place.
What actually DOES make a person bad is to repeat that action over and over again. To show a certain negative pattern repeatedly with different people makes it highly likely that there is no will to change, or that they are not even aware that it would be necessary to do things differently; because they don’t see it as a problem inherently.
That’s at least how I view it :)
