Firstly, Vortex. If you are here watching/reading this, I am sorry. I didnt destroy this just to send it back to try and get it replaced.
Secondly, to all the viewer's. I do not recommend recreating anything you saw in the video for any reason what so ever. Deliberately destroying a scope to try and warranty it is Not cool.
Previously reviewed this red dot shows that it is well built and serves as a good optics. It has given me years of trouble free service and never gave me a doubt of its capabilities... However, I always wondered just what it would take to 'kill' it.
From getting caught outside in the rain, to a unfortunate fall off a table at the range. I try to cover a few key scenarios where I felt this red dot would be used in. Then one where maybe it wouldnt. It proves (to me anyway) that it is as sturdy as one could hope their optic to be. And gives me a whole new appreciation for it.

You're absolutely correct. If your rifle falls, it wall always land on the optic. Great video.

It's 3 years later and I don't see the 2nd review. Enjoyed this review, I bought one but haven't used it yet. It is big and heavy, I like the brightness and red or green light. Someone said they got a vortex 30mm low mount and liked that.

I'll say this was a great "every man" style review. Not sure I liked the idea of running it over with a car but I guess that's torture to break. Cheers
Curious Question, I got this optic when it first came out, it’s ran like a horse with Zero Flaws! I noticed that they have changed the brand logos on the optic & Vortex states it is a 4MOA however I have one with a 2 & 4MOA. I have never had any issues with them, I just wish you could still get it with 3x magnification without having to attach the VMX-3 to the rear. I have tested just about everything out there and Vortex has never failed me! Great Test! I would highly recommend anything they make for a wide range of applications!!!
Hi I'm very curious about your comment about the brand logos on the optics, mine doesn't come with the written vortex label on the battery compartment, is that normal or I got a counterfeit ? I've seen both on UA-cam some with the logo and some without it, could you please give some info about it ?

Do you know if the Strikefire 2 can withstand living on top of a 12 guage? I want to upgrade my Tavor to a 1-6 scope from the redot
After doing what I've done to it, yes it should be just fine.

this optic was how i found out i had an astigmatism as a kid. it came on the windham weaponry rifle my dad bought in like 2015 or something

What we learned is not to drive over your Rifle with your car
I bought ine of the origional sights. Been through hell and I've yet to adjust the red dot. I felt I took a risk when I bought it. Couldn't recommend it high enough.
Would’ve loved to see the drop tests with the optic on a rifle. Maybe you can make a weight that you can attach the optic to in order to simulate the extra weight and momentum of a rifle attached to it?

I got it when it was @ $129.99 of course no tax or shipping but fairly cheaper than current. Because I'm ave Joe who still drives tow🪀🪀 Matrix. Who can't afford EOTECH or Aimpont. Oh yeah did you say this thng comes with mount. Very excellent scope people like me. Thanks for your review.

I don’t have it on video, but I have pretty well abused the Strike Eagle. Zero fails and holds zero just as good as Nightforce or any other extremely high end optic!!!

Its refresh rate was close to the shutter speed of the camera. The the naked eye it doesnt flash.

I hope if they say yes that you would have the decency to tell them you purposely broke it and was just testing if they would say yes or no. Should not expect to get a new scope because you purposely broke it and wanted a new one by lying about it...

Yes but their warranty says return for any reason, no questions asked. It’s one of the best warranties on the market and that should be tested too yes?

I'd love to see the romeo 5 done by you... lol ik ik I've seen other torture test but it seems like manufacturers send top top QC products to people to torture lmao and not assembly line models like they go above and beyond on the "test" models. Like spartan lvl3 ar500 armour was stopping everything and I mean everything black tip 30-06 and all!!!! On million plus sub channels then a guy with less than 1000 subs bought one with his money and a 193 ball round zipped right thru like butter....

What kind of soft batch torture test was this? Obviously not a real torture test. This video makes me think the optic sucks and I own one.
