I’m so glad you, paperback journeys, and I all agree that The Dark Forest is amazing 😄
And yes Bobiverse is very happiness-inducing
@@valliyarnl thanks for watching. I reckon Dark Forest shows up quite a lot in people’s favourite sequels, we just happened to read the trilogy around the same time 😁
OMG!! I am so honoured that you mentioned me in this video. Thank you so much!! 💕 Also, i am obsessed with this background, please film more videos like this, weather pending of course. And okay, just for you i will read one flew over the cuckoos nest!
Oh you are more than welcome and thank you for providing the inspiration.
I’ll do my best to film outside more but I’m afraid we may have already had the Welsh summer. It was quite a long one this year. It was nearly a full week. June 23rd to 27th.
I hope you enjoy One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Neat. There’s no getting away from the fact that there’s things in there that just aren’t acceptable today, but if can accept it as a work of its time, it’s genuinely great.
I'm about to read my first Percival Everett (James) but assuming it is indeed as good as I'm hearing, I'll be wanting to read more by him! I'll have to look up the one you mentioned.
@@BonnieNicoleWrites I’ve got James on my reading list for this year but I’ve been kinda thinking that I need to read the Mark Twain first. I read Huck Finn years ago but don’t really remember it.
I did have reservations about The Trees, I did feel the last 10% nosedived in quality, but everything up to that was a blast
@@TheBookThing I had read Huck Finn in high school but didn't remember much either. I listened to not quite half of it on audio last month and I think the rest I'll just read a synopsis online. 😂
That's good to know about The Trees! I'll keep that in mind.
@@BonnieNicoleWrites cool. I talked about The Trees more in my May wrap up (not trying to hawk my vids, just trying not to repeat myself too much 😂)
I tried to read the Secret History and got so far but i just could not gel with it, i am sure you will update us!
@@RovingRedhead well I’ve read the first few pages and it hasn’t annoyed me yet so that’s a good sign. I’ll let you know how I get on.
@@TheBookThing Yes do :)
Great video! I still need to read One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, loved the movie. I do want to read If You Like It Darker. Have to ask, Are you a Rugby Union fan?
I AM a Rugby Union fan. My favourite thing about living in Wales is going to Cardiff to see Ireland V Wales in the 6 Nations
(Other than my wife and family. Obviously)
The Irish Tour to our shores will be epic, good luck! ...not too much. 😂
@@CliffsDarkGems hey you guys are the world champions. And you had a completely undefeated run to the final. Oh no, wait. I might need to fact check that. 😉☘️
@@TheBookThing 🤣I was going to say beware of the altitude... but then remembered the URC final. 🤣🤣Anyway...🏆🏆🏆🏆... Should be a great series. 😉
@@CliffsDarkGems 😂
