Just added The Trees to my virtual TBR! I liked your comparison of the scalpel vs. the sledgehammer. I generally prefer more of a scalpel approach as well, but this definitely sounds worth a try.

@@BonnieNicoleWrites yeah I preferred the scalpel too, but overall the book was great, well worth the read. Hope you enjoy it 😁

Okay, I have truly wanted to start reading some Robin Hobb. I am really dumb with fantasy so I don’t know if it’s worth it for me. Haha and you haven’t convinced me. Great wrap up 💕💕

Well, my opinion is very clearly not the consensus. Others whose opinions I really value enjoyed them much more than I did so your mileage may vary.
That being said if you’re looking for an initial dabble into fantasy, it wouldn’t be what I’d go for. Thanks a million for watching 😁

Enjoyed your enthusiasm talking about these books, even though some disappointed you. Not read Robin Hobb and I still think i don't want too, it does sound a bit lazy plot wise.

Thanks again. Yeah, Robin Hobb isn’t for me but I am definitely in the minority on that one. Some folks whose opinions I really respect get an awful lot more out of her work than I do, so you may have a very different experience 😁
