What a facinating place. Don't you just wish all old movie stars had their homes saved into museums that were maintained and documented so well? What a gem this was. Thank you so much Jordan. Blessings - Judith 🎵
I've watched this vlog four times now, and it always makes me sob when the guide quotes Mr. Hart about giving up his feet if he could have his best friend back. Breaks my heart every time.
Wonderful piece, Jordan. Years ago when I visited Los Angeles, never in a million years would I have seen the interesting places you've given me the opportunity to see with your videos. Thanks a million - Diane..
Wow! what an awesome house ! I loved the doors and well there's nothing to fault . What a lovely person William S Hart was and a beautiful location for a wonderful man . Thanks for taking us round with you Jordan .🙂
I love that he loved his animals in a way I relate to. My dad had a cow who he brought into my grandmothers home once. The cow ended up stuck in the laundry until my grandad came home from work and could help get it out side again 🐄
Newhall is my home town and I enjoy going to that park. Its so beautiful. His house is absolutely stunning. I take the tour every chance I get! You noticed and learn more things about him every time you go. He really was an amazing man.
nice, im a huge fan of Western movie history...nobody makes good Westerns anymore, except maybe Clint Eastwood (Unforgiven)...my dad was a friend of the Autry family and donated many of his Indian historical items to the Gene Autry Museum...i'll never forget as a kid answering our phone one early evening and the man asking to speak with my dad, in his heavy, deep voice...when i asked who i should tell him was calling he said "Tell him it's CLAYTON MOORE"...i had the biggest smile on my face when i RAN to tell my dad who was on the phone to talk to him...a few years later i got a chance to look at an album with my dad and all the people he met during his career...the list is long and, some very famous people, from Elvis Presley to Eleanor Roosevelt
I use to live in Valencia and know all about William S. Hart. In fact, I was going to recommend you cover his estate. I was so pleased to see you had already done this. Another interesting place to visit is St. Francis Dam. There are still relics left there. One of the worse tragedies in California's history. William Mulholland was the Chief Engineer. Another good spot for Breakfast nearby is the Saugus Cafe which opened in 1888. Really enjoy your vlogs. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Francis_Dam
This is by far 1 of your top vlogs so far. I'm new watcher but the vlogs are so interesting and the architecture off the hook! I find myself binge watching these to see all u have done.. before I fall asleep lol. Thanks again for doing this!
Loved this Vlog! I live in the area and had the pleasure of seeing a piano concert in the living room. At the intermission we were given the house tour! It was awesome!! Such a neat man!
Love when you do the early screen legends. Hope you do Tom Mix also. My dad grew up on a farm in Flatonia , Tex. It was a treat to go to the movies on Saturday to watch Tom Mix.
Nice of Jordan to be so reverent about a true Hollywood pioneer. So knowledgeable about a star of the past especially at Jordan’s age. Keep it up. I love your vlogs.
Fascinating, thank you! A little closer to your home in Hollywood is William Hart’s former home in West Hollywood next to the Standard Hotel on Sunset. He donated the property to the city of Los Angeles as West Hollywood was then an unincorporated part of LA County. It’s my understanding that the city of LA has a long term deal with West Hollywood to use and maintain the park which includes the west coast chapter of the Actors Studio which including a small theatre and a fenced dog park. It’s a very peaceful place considering its location (and the barking).
This is so cool. I think it’s awesome that he always wants animals on the property and for tourists to be able to tour the home for free. good stuff. Thx for sharing!
I watched this 3 years ago and was amazed at this house/story! It popped up on my feed this morning....loved it more the second time. 🎯Thank you Jordan from an Ohioan
I didn't know anything about him Jordan. Thank you for teaching me (yet again) about him. 💙 it's breezy btw. Had to change my name on fb so I did it here too. ☺
Fascinating. . wow! I love the history of and stories behind so many things you know and have carried with you all of your life. Great job! Great people.. well except that do called "friend" of his lol :)
I just subscribed recently and wanted to let you know that I'm blown away by your content. Informational, entertaining, educational, and so much more. Thank you for sharing these. I'm hooked and fascinated by the depth and breadth of the content you're covering here!!
Recent subscriber. Really enjoying the historical places and stories you share. Good job! I must say, the tour guide was a very classy lady. Is she just employed by the city of Los Angeles, or did she have any close ties to the Hart family?
Great vlog Jordan. I only remember this man in name only. Today in this vlog, he has become fleshed out and real to me and I am impressed with how solid a human being he was.
Wow loads of goodies here in #286..love the card from Amelia Earhart and how he rose above being lied to and used and still stayed a good person. Very inspiring.
I never knew this place was around for all the times i went out into this area. Seems to be near where my grandfather lived at. I would have loved to visit this place. Next time down will have go there. Thanks for sharing.
At the end of the video, below the flag pole are impressions of Bill Hart's pistols. You got the delux tour. I live within walking distance and never saw some of that. Some people claim to have seen Hart's ghost upper floor balcony above front door facing flag pole area. There was a swimming pool that was filled in and a large garage with an old 1920's car in bad condition inside. Hart also used real cowboys, ex lawmen, and possibly a former outlaw in his movies. The more times you go, the more details you learn.
That's located in Newhall next to Santa Clarita Been there many times Lived in Canyon Country right down the road nice area also has the Cowboy walk of fame
As always great job. Won't you miss old California? The movie history and the history of old California? I know the state is hurting probably because the people running it don't appreciate the true spirit of the state.
Stop the Music !!!!!!!!!!! Happy Friday All THE FUN STARTS NOW!!!!!! Favor Can you list the music and the band of the new blogs? thanks partner. Start the Music!!!!!!!!!! Thumbs up👍🏻
jorden it must have been hard to video with others around like at 18.00 when some saying in a low voice stop it i real hate when trying to get video and someone whispers or speaks when your trying to take it all in
Kudos to the lady giving the tour. I've seen lots of tour guides and she was one of the best.
What a facinating place. Don't you just wish all old movie stars had their homes saved into museums that were maintained and documented so well? What a gem this was. Thank you so much Jordan. Blessings - Judith 🎵
That was awesome...
I work at the national cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in oklahoma and we have this actors artifacts on display there.

😱. I went to this place in the late '60s! I'd forgotten all about it until it popped up on my binging feed. Thank you thank you again! Wow
Those doors being carved from one piece of solid wood is remarkable. And gorgeous. Fritz lived a special life with an owner whom obviously adored him.
absolutely lovey!
Thanks for the tour. As a fan of Hart’s I always wanted to see his home in person but probably won’t be able to. This video was the next best thing.
