Thank you so much for posting this invaluable document, esp in times such as this. Timeless document, showing what man and manliness really means. And woman and womanliness. And human and humaneness. And American and Americanness. And the appeal of God and Faith in the truly human, manly - i.e. pure and brave - heart.
12:22,14:05,,the guy in the white hat on the right with the moustache is none other than JOHN GILBERT who in 10 years would be the biggest star in hollywood,in THE MERRY WIDOW,THE BIG PARADE,FLESH AND THE DEVIL,LOVE,LA BOHEME,WOMAN OF AFFAIRS,
I read W. S. Heart`s autobiography written in 1929. he was brought up in the wild west and him and his Father were the first to hear about the outcome at the Little Big Horn from a native Indian, also as a boy he witnessed real shoot outs etc. his films , what they wore etc. had to be realistic to the last button. That is what they looked like, in them there days, Yes, Sireeee!!

Pretty impressive, thanks. If the "Terminator" had been a silent movie Hart could have played it.

THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU
Unlike many silents, the music here actually fits - and rather well.
Hart’s masterpiece. Some think “Tumbleweeds” (1925) is his best, but I’d rate this his greatest.
One that I've been meaning to see for a very long time and just never seemed to get around to it- thank you so much for posting!
Liked this silent movie thank you CCC.
Thanks, CCC! 😉 👍

You gotta love Blake. Great film.
Thank You
The inspiration for HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER?
Annoying how links to other movies obscure the end of the movie. Will have to remember to watch them elsewhere.

Left here for Ryan Gosling.
What the hell was I talking about?
@@imonymous I think you were referring to the resemblance of William S. Hart to Ryan Gosling, which was a good (and kind of funny) point on your part.
