This year for Valentine's Day, my boyfriend and I went to McDonald's and then picked out some Lego sets and built them together while watching funny UA-cam videos. 😊Then we picked out some flower seeds and planted them together. 😄 Has anyone else done anything fun for Valentine's Day?

This sounds like a perfect date night!! My husband and I both worked and then he surprised me with two dozen roses and a dinner reservation at the restaurant we went to for our first anniversary, he had rose petals put on the table and a candle for our anniversary and for Valentine's day pretty candles and a single rose for me😍🥰 I told him I could have went for a fast easy meal and binge watching our show for a couple of hours since we had to wake up at 3:00 a.m. the next day for work but I appreciate all of the thought and energy he put into it. And it definitely was romantic!!

Bailey….a puzzle purse is also called a “cootie catcher”. They’ve been around forever. We used to make them all the time when I was in school. This was back in the 80’s…but I’m sure that my mom and her friends made them when they were young as well. I still see kids making them. 😊❤

I love Esther. Also- married crazy cat lady here! My husband and I work with local rescues and animal control to take in kitties with FELV so they can live the remainder of their lives loved and pampered in a home and not a cage. We currently have 11 kitties, and our first we rescued (may he RIP) makes his spirit known with twinkling lights across the floor by the toys. This year we made our Valentine’s Day about our love and admiration for our kitties and all the things they have overcome in their lives. It was so special and I really loved this year.

He was our first that my husband and I adopted together and he is/was our inspiration to help other kitties like him in need. He is/was our entire world. It's been extremely hard for us.
St. Valentine is known for marrying a young couple which made his date of death now is known as St. Valentine’s Day. I try hard not to forget to add the Saint part when I wish someone St. Valentine’s Day. Only in the last recent years people have people dropped the Saint part.❤
0:40 the easiest and quickest way to determine when you were conceived is to take your birth months and add three months to it. That third month is when you were conceived.
For example, my sister was born the first week of October and if you add three months to that you get January and since she was born October 7, then you can pretty much safely assume that she was a New Year’s Eve/ New Years Day conception (there’s always a 2 week give or take time period with the prediction of pregnancy, unless you meticulously wrote everything down)

Anywho He knew how much I was a “ Clearance kinda girl “, After valentine’s Day, he would go and get lots of flowers because they were on sale so I got four times as much . I personally fight to spread the "new era" of Valentines Day, where instead of a day to show romantic love to a partner or would-be partner(it turn creating equal parts spite for the day for those who have no one to romantically love), Valentines should be a day to celebrate love in of itself. Romantic love, or family love, or love between best friends, or love for a pet, and if you legit don't have anyone than celebrate love for yourself. Give yourself some flowers or chocolates or treat yourself to a spa day. Yes, love should be expressed any time of year and shouldn't jus be an obligation to valentinea day, but let it be a day to remember that we still love and celebrate that feeling in all its levels. I never really liked Valentine's Day. In 2023 my husband passed away, after a month long hospitalizations with multiple organs failure. It was around 10 am on Valentine's Day. Thusly I hate Valentine's Day and am very much not a fan of the day. We released balloons yesterday for him. It still hurts and I sometimes expect him to walk in the door, then I realize he's gone. That song "Eyes Closed" by Ed Sheeran hits hard. Especially when he mentions February.
