After 24 hours with the butterfly keyboard, I have to say that I'm not sure that I'll ever become accustomed to the sound it makes. It sounds cheap. However, although typing was weird at first, I'm slowly adjusting to it and finding that it's pretty easy to type on. It's definitely going to take more getting used to, but overall it's not a bad sacrifice for the size decrease in my opinion.
It doesn't sound cheap at all but as you can see it's matter of preferenses, actually this keyboard is the only thing I like about new mac (faster ssd and gpu is great too but the price is sick, and the rest of hardware isn't upgraded, cpu is worse than in previous mac, one more thing usbc ports doesn't work as supposed to, you can check it out 9to5mac.com/2016/11/03/2016-macbook-pro-thunderbolt-compatibility-issues/)

What's the value of the touch bar when Apple can simply create the touch screen? Why should we purchase a product that appears to be obsolete?

10:50 iTunes quit unecpectedly.
There was already a brightness up and a brightness down button which you removed and tried to replace with a brightness slider. There was enough space available at that position to show the separate up/down buttons but not enough space to show a slider. Granted, Apple should probably prevent or warn you whenever there is not enough space to display a particular button on the Touch Bar where you're trying to place it.

I did. No change.
Do not want to be rude, but everything was hidden when the slider showd (or not showed) up, so plenty of space, which probably was made for this slider. Will be fixed soon anyway

I have 2016 MBP too. There is not much space at left or else the ESC key or the X would be flush left. That is why you can't put a slider there. I tried and then removed it because I realized the issue. Anyway, we can agree to disagree.

Apple is so losing me as a customer by not including the extension cord for the charger, thankfully they include one with the new Razer Mamba mouse now, check my unboxing of that

SnepKaunt I would say so, core i7, 16 GB RAM , and 16 hrs battery life..... A detachable screen is an added bonus!

I have the 15 inch on order. When I watched this intro I get this cancellation feeling. Do I really want to pay so much for this buggy contraption? My current MBP is 4.5 years old but still works. This touch bar is more a marketing gimmick than anything. I am not sure if I want to go ahead with my order.
You do have 14 days to return the MBP back to Apple in case you don't like it.

Takuan I got the one without the touch bar and love it. I don't think I'd ever use the touch bar, like I never use Siri haha
Yeah, it's worth a thought. I do advanced photo editing and I don't know if the 13 inch machine can handle the processing well enough.
Just get it and don't eat out much for the next 6 months and you'll save the money :)
