While I watching this documentary I remembered that Çanakkale War in turkey. This was historical and amazing. Opposite side have many strong warship which they were best warship in that time. But not useful for enemy. They had defeat badly. Now world is changing. These warship looking very complicated. But they should up to date. So especially Turkey working about a warship full by unmanned aerial vehicle. It will more difficult stop it that coming to you many unmanned aerial vehicle. These unmanned vehicles are more usefully and practical. Of course nobody don't want a war. We did brainstorming. Have a good day :)

It's interesting how the ships and classes are named - and my ears pricked up at the name Ticonderoga! The Ticonderoga was a US-owned clipper built and launched in Boston, and was legendary for her speed and beautiful lines. But she sailed into infamy in 1852 when she left Birkenhead in England bound for Melbourne, Australia with 800 emigrants and crew - mostly from Scotland, some from England, and a handful from Ireland. The decks were crammed to overloaded with passengers, all hoping to find a better life in Australia, which would have made for an incredibly difficult and long voyage under the best of conditions. But during the outward journey Typhus broke out - and spread like wildfire, with the first child being buried at sea just 8 days out of Port. No one knew at the time that Typhus was spread by the bites of infected body lice - and this wouldn't be known for at least another 30 years .. so it spread and the passengers died like flies. It was said that sharks followed her, just waiting for corpses after the usual weighted canvas shrouds had run out. Whole families perished, and they were forced to conduct burials at sea at night so the grieving families did not have to witness the carnage. By the time the Ticonderoga reached Melbourne more than 100 passengers had lost their lives, and 70 more would perish in the weeks after arrival at Port Phillip where the great ship was quarantined on a lonely stretch of beach at Point Nepean.. There's a memorial there to the memories of those who died. I only know about the fate of the Ticonderoga because my great-great grandparents, Alexander and Nora Cameron, were on that ship - and by some miracle they survived and went on to make their fortunes in the lucky country. After the Ticonderoga was permitted to leave port I believe her Captain sailed her to the Far East and then back to the USA, where she was sold several times. No known photographs of her survive.

  • @Templemain

Oh dear we are running out of aviation fuel, ammunition, food, medical supplies, spare parts, oils, with communications being jammed. All our supply ships in ports around us have been destroyed by the enemy. Worse the enemy have launched not one but 25 ultra missiles with nuclear tips from different positions all around us. These missiles are ultra sonic able to do 10-12 thousand kilometers an hour from the edge of space to do a deep dive on the fleet. They are timed to arrive at the same time. Only ONE needs to get through to put and end to the entire fleet & it does not even have to hit the fleet just detonate 10klms above it. Try doing a training procedure for that over four weeks because that's what's likely to happen if you try to war against the big C and we know that's whats going on here.

Neither ISIS nor the Taliban are attacking the carrier with a flight or strike fighters any time soon.

@@oceangove You can lighten up a little bit about the colloquial use of the term soldier.. The general public doesn't know any difference. To most people anyone in the military is a soldier and that's a term that's used throughout the world. Yes there are specific proper nouns used by the different branches, but it's really okay. Don't get uptight about it. You don't need to show off your vast superior knowledge. Some guy's just reading a script that he was given. He's just doing what he was told to do. Could it be more accurate, yes, but it's okay no need to be so irritated by it.

These people have no idea what they are talking about!! They are amphibious APC s not tanks Sailors and Marines not soldiers on ships not boats. I am glad that these people have nothing to do with military operations.

on the german ship they are called soldiers. soldier means someone who is payed for military work. that's what that word means. just because the US makes up ship about what to call what doesn't mean every country has to do that.

May the Russia ,China, North Korea and Iran remain aware at all times of the sheer might of the US and all her close friends in NATO and the overwhelming fire power that will be swiftly applied

Why haven't they put together a task force and attack Russia for invading Ukraine. After all they attacked Iraq for invading Kuwait. They are useless in the face of a STRONG aggressor.
