See, I knew Ann and Nancy's clean-cut image was too good to be true. Turns out they were hopped up on COFFEE for all those years! This is fabulous :)
according to their autobiography they were using another little pick me up during that time........SNORT
SIDE NOTE: i love heart. Own dreamboat annie, little queen, and many others on various forms of media as well as seen them live twice.
Omgosha, i recall these! Tytyty!!!
..this was before I was a true Heart fan, buying the music & hitting the concerts, that started in '85 and t'was an avalanche of mondo music
into my life!
Amazing days
"Keep rockin'."
Cool! I’m reading their book right now & Nancy refers to it as their dreaded coffee achievers commercial lol it’s not that bad. Thanks for posting!
Memories! I'm having a cup of joe right now, thanks!
Why have an ELO song playing while Heart are on screen is what I don't understand.
Drinking coffee while watching Coffee Achiever videos.
Still love Heart, still hate coffee lol
Coffee is good!
Kurt Vonnegut about to crank out more mischeif 0:09
Wait...is that Kurt Vonnegut?!
I believe it was !
no way!!! i saw this commercial lots of times growing up in Anchorage Alaska . . . was AK targeted? LOL
Looks like Bebe Le Strange sessions? But the live stuff looks like Dog And Butterfly.
The commercial came out in '83, which would be Passionworks (0:08 is from about twenty-five seconds into the "How Can I Refuse" video. The "session" at 0:14 looks staged "why is the band eating and drinking on the board?!". and Ann is wearing a shirt that's in photos with Mark and Denny when Passionworks was released. What's weird is that Howard, Ann and Nancy are in the "let's drink coffee and pretend to go on stage" shots, but no Mark and Denny anywhere. The live shots look like Dog and Butterfly to me, too (the stairs going up to Michael's drums).
I somehow doubt a vocalist would drink coffee just before going out onstage. Caffeine dries the vocal cords out, making it harder to sing.
They were tea drinkers not coffee! But they needed the million dollars
I'm a Coffee acchever.
Heart?? The music is by Electric Light Orchestra.
Hilarious.
I remember these ads on US TV. Didn't they get banned?
I'd be happily and overly excited to read a line or two. A video is limited in its entire emotional expression.
The actual sound of your voice can evoke attention (even if only in a written form).
Write, will you?
LMAO!!!
