When this is playing through the Aksis fight your in sensory overload with everything going on ! Amazing song
They use a remixed version that combines the siva elements, but it is really another experience because every part of the song is different and really the song cues the different parts of the fight, when the song changes you can tell the fight entered a different phase evn without your teanmates telling you what to do.

“First Disciple” from the witch queen expansion and either “all in” or “tyrant overthrown” from light fall are all phenomenal
Oneirophobia from Lightfall is amazing too.
Music from the campaign centered around the heroic Iron Lords.
This is the track that now plays at the beginning of Iron Banner PvP matches, a special limited-time event mode which features the main Iron Lord character as the announcer/pep talk guy.
If I'm not mistaken its this same track that gets layered back in as each match comes to a conclusion, too, right? Feels epic if you're out in front or, even better, coming back for a clutch win!

More Destiny!😊 As a Destiny player, I’m always amazed by the music they put out, but sometimes just taking a minute to actually appreciate it, outside the game, is so good. Love the reactions.
That's why I have a whole Spotify playlist just dedicated to imo the best Destiny music :), also have a few individual favourites throughout several other playlists!

This song during Iron Banner when it's a close match, always elevates the tension in the match perfectly. "Its close Guardian, show them what your made of!“

There is a variant of Eyes Up for the main boss theme. Would recommend Aksis Theme search to see the distinction. The Siva Critical part still gives me goose bumps to this day

Another really good song from Rise of Iron is "Sepiks Redux" I'd highly recommend listening to that one! I would also really like to see you react to "The First Disciple" from Destiny 2!

The interesting thing with a lot of Destiny music is how pieces are tied to topics in the game, and are called at different points in tracks. It's so awesome to listen to, especially when the gameplay sweeps you away at the same time.
It just elevates everything.
Destiny 2: Forsaken - Queen's Oracle is another great track.
I’d love for you to listen to Oneirophobia or The First Disciple. Both are insane destiny tracks

Another great one is the watchtower from the Forsaken soundtrack. Super cool and escalates super well in the moment when it plays
A couple other cool ones are the hunted from the original OST and Deception from the Witch queen OST
Another fantastic song from destiny 2 is called Storm the Keep! Definitely one of the most loved tracks from the community

The Dreaming City from the Forsaken Soundtrack is a great one

Just found your channel, love the reactions! Sounds like you love suspensions/resolutions and complex chords.....I would recommend Elegy from Rise of Iron (Destiny 1) and Keep of Voices from Forsaken (Destiny 2). Keep of Voices is probably my all time fav pieces of soundtrack in any media

Just found your channel uh may have binge watched everything 😂 Sepiks Prime and the Redux are well worth a listen. Saying that I'd like to see either eye of the gate lord or End of the line from the OST, I think they're hugely underrated!

This was my absolute favorite expansion for Destiny 1 and Destiny 2. For reference, Rise of Iron was the final expansion for the original game
It was just an amazing theme throughout everything...iron, bronze, winterscapes, fire, wolves, fur, powerful figures from legends, black and red nanobot stuff, man it was a nice aesthetic

I've been a very outspoken fan of Destiny's music forever (grew up on Halo, almost feel obligated to be) but your trained observations are really interesting. I was aware of some of the terminology through exposure but I'm taking notes for sure

I’d highly recommend a track called the rider, it’s from the expansion forsaken and I love the section that’s in 6/8. I’m just a sucker for anything that’s in odd meter as I’m a percussionist lol

Recently discovered your channel. Love your takes on one of my most beloved franchises and body of soundtracks. I know you've covered a few different game soundtracks as well -- will you be branching out to more soundtracks: are you staying within a certain genre games, certain music styles of soundtracks, or just reviewing music from games you specifically play? All equally valid -- just curious?
If I may be so bold as to offer some suggestions of games with banger soundtracks that are worth a listen/analysis -- these would be my top 3 at the moment:
- Hades (Darren Korb might be one of the best in the industry and the Hades soundtrack is chocked full of tracks that just slap)
- Hollow Knight (Christopher Larkin was an unknown to me, and likely the industry, until his work on Hollow Knight -- but good god is this soundtrack breathtaking)
- Genshin Impact (Yu-peng Chen is a machine to be able to write so many quality tracks in the time frames Genshin releases updates in)

Many of my backlogged reactions from twitch are from fromsoft and HK as I was reacting to the games I was streaming, but I'm open to recs from all types of games!

The Path from Destiny's Music of the Spheres is a gorgeous piece if you get around to it. Really anything from Music of the Spheres.
Another fantastic piece from destiny 2 is called Other Side
After 8 years still grinding for loot, still dismantling blues. Some things never change.
Another great destiny track that I don't think anyone has suggested would be 'Excerpt from Ecstacy' one of my favourites from the original game
Since the game OSTs you've been listening to have been fairly well-known titles, I'm gonna stray from the pack a bit and suggest the OST of the game Katana Zero. Can't really say any specific song, because there's waaayyy too many really good ones in there. Great vid btw :)
You should hear the destiny's soundtrack "End of the Line". I would like to hear this song, its short, but its awesome.
Another story catchy Destiny song is "Shell of What Was"
You should totally react to the Ultrakill soundtrack! The tracks I recommend most are Chaos/Order, Death Odyssey, Death of God's Will, Dune Eternal, Sands of Tide, Castle Vein, Altars of Apostacy, and Requiem. It's similar to Doom but has a more retro sort of vibe and is a little less heavy.
I would actually love to hear your impressions on Vault City from Fallout 2 by Mark Morgan. The song is what I consider to be a love letter to sound design from a musician perspective. To this day if I turn that song on while driving in the Arizona desert at sunset, the world will align with the song. The man is brilliant.
I would highly recommend listening to journey but the vocal variant. It’s very very good

For another video game with absolutely stellar music (since I'm sure you've probably been recommended just about the entire Destiny library at this point XD ) I'd recommend Final Fantasy XIV, starting with "Answers"/A Ream Reborn announcement trailer. The song, while maybe not intended as so when first written, became the basis of nearly a decade of storytelling in the MMO it was written for. Also, while the game is STUFFED with amazing music, I'd suggest maybe following Answers with the cinematic trailers from each of the expansions.
You have to listen to ‘The Last Array’, it’s a really good destiny piece
Yo, Em, I hate to be that guy but you missed an awesome part of this track that you can't find in the OST versions of the songs. I'm not trying to gas it up or tell you how to run ur channel, but a big reason why we want these songs to be reacted to is for the versions that do include those very parts. I'm letting you know rn, you'll likely get that with another couple of themes including the highly requested Oneirophobia. For that song, make sure you react to Oneirophobia FULL Action which can be found on Promethan, Archival Mind, a channel which specializes in pulling music from the game that includes all parts. Lmk if you need a dedicated curator to help you with what Destiny soundtracks to choose, I've been playing this game for years and have been listening to the soundtracks just as much. As always thanks for the upload!
I'd like to make some recommendations. Of course I don't expect you to react to all of them or even most of them, so I will say that I very highly recommend the ones from the HL2 OST.
Half-Life 2 OST
-Hazardous Environments (effectively Valve's theme)
-Apprehension and Evasion (the theme of starting your journey to fight off an inter-dimensional empire with a crowbar)
-CP Violation (epic battle music)
-Triage at Dawn (very short, but very emotional, especially in context)
-LG Orbifold (the fight has been disastrous, but it's finally starting to turn around in your favor)
Half-Life: Alyx OST
-Engage. Quell. Inquire. (somewhat more ambient music basically reintroducing you to the world of Half-Life)
-Anti-Citizen (sort of a callback to CP Violation)
-HIRE (end credits music)
Portal 2 OST (these are more electronic and "fun")
-The Courtesy Call
-Reconstructing More Science
-You Will Be Perfect

At some point check out another Destiny 2 one called A God on Mars which I thought was great. Oneirophobia also is another amazing new one which I'm sure plenty have been suggesting. Destiny has no shortage of stellar pieces, so I hope you listen and react to more!

Hey, love the content but i gotta request one or two things. since youve done some of Bungies newer stuff i would 10000% recommend the Halo soundtrack. Widely regarded as gamings best OST. I would say listen to Never Forget & One Final Effort. Both amazing pieces of music

This Music plays when you have to fight Aksis, Archon Prime. He's the final product that the Fallen have made from a nanotech called Siva. He is Half Fallen Half Siva hes the final raid boss of Rise Of Iron. Many people that are in our mid 20's remember this as our childhood. They plan to remaster this raid in the next few months so us Destiny players will be crying :,>
I love Destiny 🔥 you should also react to Battlefield 1 soundtracks! You should just make that into one series because you will deeply fall in love with every piece of music from Battlefield 1.
Love this one. I know you get alot of requests, but Witcher 3 music is brilliant. Well worth a listen, if you have the time

The Destiny soundtrack is good, but Martin O'Donnell has done some amazing work with Bungie prior to Destiny. I don't think there's a Halo game out there, aside from maybe 4 and 5, that has a bad soundtrack. Literally any of the soundtracks from Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 3: ODST are amazing choices. Especially Halo 2. Steve Vai helped with that one and it is by far my favorite soundtrack to any game, ever.
