As always...great review. Im a Big Fan of Tract Toric Optics. As I have a Tract Toric 4.5-30x56 ELR HD Scope 34 MM tube.. Its my favorite long range scope. So I know this spotting scope will b e a great one top add to my shooting bag. Thanks for an honest review.
Help! Mister Spomer, you are the man with the knowledge about spotting scope lenses, is there better lenses than what in most high end spotters like Tract spotter? Schott/HT UHD lenses the best out there.
You picked the right guy for the video. Ron does an excellent job teaching about optics from what I've seen of his work. I'm in the market for a new spotter and saw very distinct similarities between your TORIC, and two from other manufacturers. I'm hoping you have some background info on some of the design and elements of the competition on this optic (from your TRACT site bio I think you do). I'm specifically looking at the Sig Oscar 8 and the Leupold SX-5 and now your product. Why would you suggest I buy the TORIC?
Right out of the gate we are using SCHOTT HT glass which is the same brand of glass used by the high end European optics companies. This alone separates us from the competition you mentioned.
@@tractoptics1120 I appreciate that you are proud of, and publish what you use in your optics. It's difficult to get any details like that from the competition.
@@TexasTrained I know right. I saw a review where the guy said that he is more responsive than some of the guys friends!! I was laughing so hard cause it is true!
Good day : apologies my english (i'm from Montreal Canada: so French Canadian) I just bought a spotting scope : Pentax PENTAX PF-80ED-A........... My question is this: Can a good spotting scope or my monarch 7 are ok to go outside at temperture of -20 celcius (-4 Fahrenheit) ? I hesitated a lot and I'm scare of dammaging them. Thank you for your answer.

Have your 34mm scope, love it. Will this spotter have a straight eye piece offered?
No plans for a straight body at the moment, but if there is enough demand we can certainly build it

Most spotting scopes would work fine at -4F
@annie Lisbo Most optical designs lose the resolution above 55x
I'm actually looking to pick one up.this one or a maven s2

You guys should put a reticle in the scope!
We will be releasing MRAD reticle options in March
Make a straight model, and you'd get a customer.
A straight model is in the works, We hope to have it available sometime next year
Well i just placed my order, looking forward to try it out@@tractoptics1120
