Im a full time realtor and do video/photos on the side so decided to finally pull the trigger on this lens. Your video was very helpful on explaining some key points that I was looking for. Great video, transition, sound, color and telling a great story!
Appreciate it! More real estate content on the way.
It would be great to see your editing process .... it's so good!
Purchased the 12-24 a few months ago for interior documentation for projects. Great lens, great investment!
I didn't know that I would love 12mm but man it looks great. Thank you for the review.
I bought this lens on release date and it's on my FX6 now with built in NDs on a DJI RS2 ..... LOVE IT!!! I had the 12-24G f4 but it didn't really do it for me. Maybe thats because I had came from the 11-24 f4 Canon and it was like wow! beautiful but super heavy lol. Great video and nice work. Have a great day
Loved your video. More of these please.
Great review, Man !
Thank you
Nice work! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Im about to pull the trigger on it. Thanks for sharing your experience. 🙏🏽
Congrats 🍾
Awesome video, thank you!
Amazing video, thanks for posting it!
WOW! Very good review!!! A video vs a Still elongated sides less noticeable as things flow together. But the main thing is sharpness and clarity of the lens as well as being on the A7Siii. For some info on filters, Haida Rear Lens ND filter kit for sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 and f/4 GM lens and should work with the new FE 14mm f/1.8. Haida also has the Clear Night filter that can be used as ND filter for highlight colors - gives a nice baby blue sky during the daytime and eliminates the blue hue of shadows. Nice to have sharpness at 5.6 vs 8 getting faster SS at lower ISO!!!
NEED MORE CONTENT! This is Great!
I have this lens coming next Tuesday... $600 off on BH.. not sure if its still on sale though. Amazing work you do man!
Wow, flash discount?
@@fullbars I dunno! I just ordered the matterport pro2 cam and happened to look at the lens and it was on sale so I got one hahaha
That'great. Give me more real estate videos please.
I was going to get that lens for my wife's real estate work, I already have a load of Sony G and GM lenses for my own use. However, I went for the Siga 14-24mm Art f/2.8. So far no regrets.
Great review. Enjoyed the video thanks.
Fantastic video. Thanks. Do you still recommend this Sony lense for real estate videos? I like your lower thirds or titles. Can you tell me, where I can buy them? Thanks
Premiere Composer!
@@fullbars Thank you very much. I also bought the Sony 12-24 F2.8 GM lense. Thanks for your great video
Great video. What about comparing the 12-24 with the 14mm GM? Smaller, lighter, and wider aperture, in exchange of the zoom range.
Well made video 👏
SLog3?
Nice. I just bought this lens, never used it, hoping it will be good for real estate :)
Great video. Do you still use it and suggest? Or maybe better Sony 14mm 1.8GM?
I have the 14mm but rarely use it since I’m digging the right shots. Biggest problem with super wide in real estate is the side walls stretch and take up so much space in the frame, and puts everything center of frame at a distance.
@@fullbars so you use more often Sony 12-24mm f2.8 GM? Or you have other "main" lens for real estate photography? :)
I am struggeling now to buy Sony 14 1.8 or 12-24mm f2.8 GM for real estate, travel photography and videos :)
@@rebelwwg1wga431 16-35 2.8 mostly but a wider lens is useful for some situations
Wow, impressive lens and great footage. Did you have to do any lens correction in post? I'm struggling to notice distortion.
No lens correction in post!
What do you think about the 14mm 1.8 for real estate?
I’ve owned it for about 6 months and haven’t used it yet lol! The 16-35mm PZ is just too convenient to make me want to put it down.
Thank you for the real estate content. Im planing on purchasing a new camera and lens. What would you recommend Sony aiii or Sony FX3? Also what's the lens for real estate videos and city vlogs. Thank you
Sony A7sIII and 16-35mm f2.8 all day.
@@fullbars Thank you!
What kind of gimbal are you using? Please write all combos (lights etc) 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi sir, I love your videos, What fonts do you use?
I think Bebas Neue
How do you expose for slog3 ?? Great review
what do you think about 12-24mm sony vs 9mm Laowa FF II ?
Also what lower thirds titles template are you using they look great?
Would you guys recommend this over 16-35gm 2.8 lens for real estate videography? Considering I already own a GM 24-70 2.8?? And why?? Do we really need the aparture to go down to 2.8 for this lens over say the same lens that's F4? And why? Thanks I appreciate any advice
I personally would not. It’s kind of a specialty lens and not an all arounder like the 16-35. I’d rather have 35m tight than 24m any day.
You’re right, if you don’t need the extra stop you can get away with an f4 but the GM just feels like a safer bet in terms of image quality.
What is this music from 7:50?
what aperture do usually put when shooting real estate? Thanks
Keep up the great videos! I just spent 3k cuz of you ;)
Dang! Should have used my affiliate link! ;) Enjoy the lens!
nice video...
Hello, first of all, thanks for the nice video. I had a question. I bought this lens today. After taking it out of the box, I noticed that there is a sound inside. When it shakes, something inside moves. Is this normal? If it is normal, what is this shaking thing?
Strange! I would return it for sure.

Hey I shoot real estate in Charlotte my company name is “Frame By Frame.” I’d love to hear your business mindset on pricing. What would you approximately charge for photo video and 3D for companies/high end spaces
All of our pricing Is on store.fullbarsmedia.com
Please, For real estate and architecture proffesional work, Is it well coorrected for straight lines? Distortion?
Considering this or the sony 14 1.8 gm or Sigma.
It has lens distortion that would need to be corrected in post. If you want completely straight lines then I recommend the prime lenses. Laowa Zero-D's are great and Sony GM 14mm
@@fullbars which is more corrected and sharp? The new Sony gm or the Lowe?
@@polanialmoni6274 I haven't tested the new Sony GM.

Nice lens but it's way overpriced. I have a Sigma 14-24mm who's image quality is on par with Sony GM lenses at a third of the cost. The difference between 12mm and 14mm is minimal and not worth an extra $2k.
Now you just need to upgrade your gimbal to a RS2.
Already have one. 😊 just need to put a ring on it
@@fullbars Tried a ring but prefer keeping my hands closer together and near my body for better stability.
@@ProfoundWeddingFilms 😯 I guess everyone handles it differently. (That’s what she said)
Dude how the hell are you getting that white balance so damn perfect? Holy hell those whites are WHIIIIIITE
Maybe I’ll do a tut hehe
@@fullbars please do! I tend to drop the saturation on the highlights but it sure doesn’t turn out this good. Then again I’m also shooting 8-bit
@@fullbars have you since made a tutorial on this?
@@therockysafari4302 Thanks for the suggestion. Not yet. We are rebranded and launching some new videos soon
