I love the amount of heroes in the Astros postseason, big or small. Pena, for the clutch hits and amazing defense, Yordan for those legendary homers, Bregman for his consistent clutch hits and amazing defense, Gurriel for his reliability at the plate, Framber for his DAZZLING outings and unhittable curveball, Javier with his cool demeanor and lights-out performance, JV for grinding it out and finally getting that win, Abreu, Montero, Neris, and Ryan freaking Pressly for locking down those tense games, Urquidy and Garcia eating innings when we needed them, Vazquez and Maldy calling fantastic pitches and keeping the other team off their toes, and McCormick and Mancini for those absolutely game saving plays in game 5. Thanks for all the memories boys, 2022 is yours forever.
I have watched NY win a championship from my living room in Brooklyn back in 78, then move here to HTown which has been home for 40 years now and quite frankly enjoyed seeing the Rockets win back to back championships especially the second one. However, this baseball organization is up there with some of the best I have seen. being in the world series 4 out of 6 years is no small feat. And to win the way they have is just unbelievable. If I never see another championship I will be one of the happiest man when I leave this earth. History has been good to me.

Redemption stories are so special, and this is what this victory meant to the Astros, the city of Houston and every fan who stood by the Astros in spite of everything the team went through for the past 5 years. Perhaps is because I’m a woman of faith, but this Astros postseason felt like it was guided by a higher power. I truly believe this because our team had to endure so much pain from the sign stealing scandal, which was so hypocritical since EVERY TEAM has done it at one point or another, but our team stepped up, owned their mistake and move on to show everyone that we’re the best team in baseball, at least for the foreseeable future. And after a let down in the postseason in 2018,2019,2020,and 2021 I just thought the team was cursed, But now I have learned that there is a whole community of people that like the Astros and have gone through the tough time to finally get this championship we deserved.
We will always have those who are ready to get on the wagon when things are good, but the minute it get bad they are gone. However, Like you I have learned to enjoy the peaks as well as the valley. Decisions made with an intention to lose games while rebuilding lead to some very successful times. And it is paying off now.
@@grandwonder5858 They have nothing to prove. The haters will always be among us. We just have to do what we do best use the minor league to to restock. Let the others keep spending the big money for under performing teams in the playoffs. It was sad to see what happen to Toronto in the playoffs with the Mariners.
I’m a huge Astros fan, I still remember it took a good while to get ahead of the Angels in the AL West, it took at least a month, and it took about half the season to pass the Yankees in having the best record in the AL
This was amazing. Well done. I've watched your videos all season. You called it all season. What a ride, what a team. Loved the quote at the end. Go Astros!! Champions forever and a Dynasty. Greatest redemption story in sports history
This was beautifully done. I could watch this everyday. It's so inspiring and to hear about all the sacrifices the players made to get to the world series makes this even more inspiring. They never gave up or loss focus of their goal. Such amazing athletes. We can learn alot of lessons from this video. I already miss baseball so I'll probably be watching this a gazillion times before opening day March 30 😅😅😅😅
I watched the Astros from spring training, through every single game they played, all the way to Tucker catching that foul ball for the last out! This was some of the best baseball I have ever seen! What an incredible win for the Astros and what an unbelievable rookie year for Jeremy Pena!! That young man was born to play baseball and he played a significant role in putting the Astros in the World Series, and also, in helping them win!! I must also point out that Yordan Alverez was a force to be reckoned with too! So many of his homeruns were absolutely staggering and, how many times did Kyle Tucker save the day!! Every player on that team is top-notch and second to none! What a journey this season was and, I'm so glad to have seen it all from start to finish!!!
one loss that I haven't seen discussed, especially with the overwhelming pitching performances this season, is Brent Strom. strommie left and the pitching staff still kicked things up a few notches
Strom retired instead of getting fired ....he knew he had to leave or Astros might loose Miller and Murphy to other teams... Good decision by the Astros....
Thank you for this awesome video. Man! I never thought i would see not one but 2 Astros championships in my lifetime. Super proud for Houston and all its fans.

I was paiently waiting for a new video from you, and I wasn't expecting such a long thorough one (that's what she said). Pleasant surprise. Astros for life. This is my team, win or lose. It's such a great feeling being able to put 2005 and 2017 and all those L seasons to rest. We are finally a dynasty. What a time to be an Astros fan. The Golden age of Astros baseball. Here's to 2023 and going for another title. Only 142 more days and counting until opening day
What I love about the Astros is when players leave, we still have good young talent for the future, and Astros have some of the best scouts all time, especially when scouts look for pitchers

@Solo Though Sports I told you on a live, earlier in the season after a few blown games from the bullpen, that I had questions about Maton faltering, Neris and Montero being overused, Pressly bring Stressly, and not enough Abreu, our best weapon. Plus a couple of teams like Seattle had better numbers. You were confident, Dusty trusted Abreu more than Stanek, and you were right. Great video and WE DID IT BABY!
Just rewatching the highlights of WS game against Phillies makes me wanna tear up each time!! Always be a memorable moment for sure!! I truly love my Astros!!
First game I was able to see in Minute Maid Park was back when the astros played against the angels a few months back in a losing effort but later this year I'm happy that they won it all.
I got engaged on my birthday (the first game back from the All Star Break) in Chicago vs the White Sox and thought winning the 2021 WS would make it all the sweeter. Since all my family is in Houston and I'm now in Indiana, we planned the wedding 2 years out (wedding is October 2023) and I had been rooting all the harder for this team to stay connected to my friends and family back home who were also watching this amazing team. Badass work bro, thanks for your work on this video and all your Stros videos man, it really means a lot to have a content creator who's on my side wholeheartedly and loves this team as I do 🫶
That was masterful! Thank you for that wonderful video. I’ve been a Houston fan since about birth. I’ve had heartache in the 80’s and right into the 90’s with the “Killer B’s”. The 2k’s have spoiled me with this Astros dynasty. This video will always make me proud to be a die hard Astro fan.
As a lifelong Astros fan, Yordan's home run was the reversal and death of all the Astros past postseason failures, especially at home. The Pujols shot off of Lidge in 2005 and subsequent WS loss to the White Sox in the next series, the collapse against Boston in 2018, the Kendrick foul pole homer in 2019, Soler sending one into the next time zone in 2021, and even going further back, the absolute heartbreakers of the two NLCS losses against the Phillies in 1980 and the Mets in 1986. Then there's even the NLDS collapses of the 1990's Astros. However, with one swing, it was ALL erased. With their win at home as Kyle Tucker caught the final out, the Astros finally conquered all their past demons and put them to pasture, finally being able to once again call themselves World Series Champions and capping what just might be the greatest single-season postseason run in baseball history. Going 11-2, starting 7-0 sweeping two series, and coming back from two devastating losses to win 3 out of the last 4 games to win the WS, not to mention the no-hitter and ridiculous bullpen statistics. They're also the only team ever to start the playoffs 7-0 and win the World Series in the DS era. No, team, and no fanbase has gone through more to deserve a Championship - and the Astros capped their 60th Anniversary season the way Judge Roy Hofheinz always wanted starting back in 1962 - as Champions.
What a great video brother, everything was done nicely, the editing of the games, and the music, it was like re-living that awesome experience of these games. I hope the Stros, can repeat next year. It will be a dream come true.
Great doc, my finance, and i was at game 6, i’m just now getting my voice back. I’ve bled orange since 86, year my dad took me to my first game at the dome. Loved every moment of the Rockets back to back chips, but was to young to appreciate how hard it is to win even one chip. 2017 definitely counted, and I still call BS for our punishment, when every team was doing something shady. Still hate losing Hinch, but love how the Astros just took on us versus the world, and responded to other teams fans heckling by sending🖕right back at them, but with our play. We were able to go to 1 World Series game, and picking game 6, still blows my mind how lucky, and fortunate we were. It’s been a few days, and I still can’t believe it, and catch myself watching videos I took in disbelief. Again this Doc was awesome, I will definitely watch it multiple times, loved the music choices too weirdly. lol GO STROS!!!

And after a let down in the postseason in 2018,2019,2020,and 2021 I just thought the team was cursed, But now I have learned that there is a whole community of people that like the Astros and have gone through the tough time to finally get this championship we deserved.
Nobody hates a loser, there’s a reason they chirp. Go Astros.
We will always have those who are ready to get on the wagon when things are good, but the minute it get bad they are gone. However, Like you I have learned to enjoy the peaks as well as the valley. Decisions made with an intention to lose games while rebuilding lead to some very successful times. And it is paying off now.
@@tonyrebel63 I love it when you stick with a team like that, it can feel so good
Astros unity, baby! 💪✊Let's win a couple more to make the haters hate us even more! Go Stros!
I got chills watching this within the first 3 minutes! Great compilation!
Opening day will be here before we know it!
@@SoloThoughtSports YESSSSSS and I can't wait 😂 well I'll have to 😅😅😅
I watched the Astros from spring training, through every single game they played, all the way to Tucker catching that foul ball for the last out!
Thanks for the video recap. This was a amazing experience for Houston. 2023 LET'S GO HOUSTON
Thank you for this awesome video. Man! I never thought i would see not one but 2 Astros championships in my lifetime. Super proud for Houston and all its fans.
The Houston Astros got me back into watching baseball again! Holy Cow their ballgame atmosphere is unbelievable! People, you have to attend an Astros game at Minute Maid Park! It’s like one big party!
I love this video and 2022 was mine rookie year as a Astros fan and I can say I’m going to be a Astros fan for LIFE.
I bet this was a blast editing it sure was fun watching. Great job!
Driving from AZ to Houston for new yrs and listening to this beautiful video. Got all pumped up. Well done with it.
Comment just made my day! thank you and happy new years my friend!
I’m a manly man, but i’ll tell you what, watching these highlights and this teams chemistry makes me tear up like a baby. Well done sir, i had goosebumps most of the video. So happy for the Astros. We did it for Dusty, for Mack, and for the H 🔥🤘🏻
I really do think this was the best season of baseball ever. Truly an amazing video. Thank you. God Bless the 2022 Astros Legends.
I’m a Astros fan and i’m in tears right now 😢
Great video, man. Love it. I got very emotional watching this. I am still on cloud 9 from their WS win Saturday. Only 142 more days and counting until opening day
That Bregman clip caught me off guard. 😂
Great video! Loved watching your channel throughout the season
This. This was absolutely phenomenal. Excellent work. Thank you for this.
What I love about the Astros is when players leave, we still have good young talent for the future, and Astros have some of the best scouts all time, especially when scouts look for pitchers
Amazing 👏🏼 go astros world series champs!!
Great game calling audio clips too! Thank you. As an A's fan, I have a lot of respect for the Astros 2022 team. Congrats 👏
Love every comment in here they all took the words out of my mouth couldn't say it any better
Love the Astros since 1976 Go Astros
This video was a real treat for my soul. Well done! Thank you sooooo much for making this! I just was enthralled, re-living those moments. You really did a GREAT job! Thank you SOOOO MUCH!!!
You did a great job, I’ve watched you all year as your a true Astros Fan.
I watched every inning of the postseason for the Houston Astros. I grew up as an Astros fan. This video gave me chills!
You did a great job with this video. I think the title should have been A Dynasty Reborn. They retooled and rebuilt the best team in the AL for the past 5 years to make themselves the best team in MLB again.
Great video man! I love my team and city so much. Seriously can’t wait for next year already and what we are gonna do
@Solo Though Sports I told you on a live, earlier in the season after a few blown games from the bullpen, that I had questions about Maton faltering, Neris and Montero being overused, Pressly bring Stressly, and not enough Abreu, our best weapon.
Nice mini movie man!! I loved it!! Go Astros🎉💪🏻
Amazing video, couldn’t hold my tears, hell of a season. Go Stros’
Man that was awesome you did a excellent job creating this content as an Astros fan thank you 💯💪🏿
First game I was able to see in Minute Maid Park was back when the astros played against the angels a few months back in a losing effort but later this year I'm happy that they won it all.
LETS GOOOO I CANT FOR 2023 BACK TO BACK BABY
I watched every second of this video! I loved it! Thanks for putting it together! Spectacularly done!
Badass work bro, thanks for your work on this video and all your Stros videos man, it really means a lot to have a content creator who's on my side wholeheartedly and loves this team as I do 🫶
Thank you for the kind words and hope to see you around for a long time!
@@SoloThoughtSports keep the content coming, and you bet your ass I'll be around 🤘🏾 we're here for the long haul, the good and the bad
Glad you enjoyed it
dude its been a pleasure watching your videos all season. keep up the great work.
Again this Doc was awesome, I will definitely watch it multiple times, loved the music choices too weirdly. lol
GO STROS!!!
This was amazing editing. You couldn't have done it better
I absolutely love the message you gave at the end of this video. Great video!!!!!
I'm pounding my chest throwing the duece... respect!! best video to cap it off.!! Run it back..LFG!!!!
Such a legendary season, legendary squad and countless memories. This will forever be the season, the Astros proved the world wrong. 💪🏻
I was there at game 2 for the World Series. What an amazing season for the Astros
Great Recap of the 2022 Astros Championship Season 🎉
DYNASTY 🤘🏽 30 yrs being an Astros fan and I wouldn't trade it for the world. God I love this team so much
The haters are still not satisfied, they still say the Stros aren't a dynasty! Well, let's win a couple more to make them satisfied and make us a 100% bonafide dynasty! Go Stros!
Still watching this legendary video…. Thank you so much…. You don’t understand how much we Astros fans appreciate you…. Keep doin what you do 🫡 ✊🏾
Excellent work! What a series! I'm from Indiana and have loved the Astros since the days of the killer B's. It was amazing to watch them conquer the baseball world. Congrats to Dusty, and to all the haters...GET USED TO IT!
What an amazing video. Amazing run. Like Rudy T said: never underestimate the heart of a champion!
Amazing Video! You made me cry a lot 😅😢😭🥰 I Love My team! No one can’t beat the Astros in my heart ❤️ GO ASTROS!!!! So Proud! Go Houston! Texas proud baby!

Wonderfully produced and narrated. Thank you 🙏
Thanks for this video man. It was fun to watch an relive these moments, thru your hard work and dedication that was put into the making of it. Go ‘Stros !! 🤘🏼😤🤘🏼
FANTASTIC Video. I've worked behind the scenes with some big UA-camrs, and you my friend have something special here. Keep it up brother.
Thank you for making this, I had goosebumps the entire time! What an epic season and to finish with a WS here at home. 🧡💙🧡💙
I'm not crying you're crying. Great video man
Hey, loving the soundtrack to the baseball action and momentum. Nicely done!
As an Astros fan who watched Bagwell and Biggio in the astrodome as a kid, this season brought it all together. All the ups and downs are worth it when you are able to reach the top.
Same. My grandparents took me to the last game at the Astrodome. Going through all the struggles in the 2010's, the depressing loss to KC in 2015, but then the rise in 2017 to now. H-Town till I die.
Nicely done video! I enjoyed reliving the Astros' post season journey! How exciting it was!!
One of the best experiences of my life and for the city of houston.
Bro, this is awesome. Thank you so much for this
This dvd worthy content! GREAT JOB!! This was very well done! 2:20 was my favorite part 😂
Thank you!! 😁
Amazing video bro 👏🏾👏🏾 Astros gonna be there again next season
Can't wait to watch you next season Shane! Cheers
"home run for the Son" === nothing better ... true joy !!!
Great video! Thank you for sharing!❤
Astros pitchers are incredible. Never have I seen a staff so solid top to bottom. Astros were a team that you could knock them down and make them look absolutely terrible one day the next day they will bounce back like the World Champions they are.
