- Tongue Scrapers are used to clean our dirty, germ and bacteria filled tongues. But the question that many people have is, which tongue scraper or cleaner should I get? IN this video, I (Dentist Jess) look at three tongue scrapers and review them. We look at the BreathRx Tongue Scraper, Orabrush, and a generic tongue scraper.🙋♀️

Is it bad that the dentist I go to has never even mentioned having to scrape my tongue? I recently saw a video of tongue scraping and that's the first time I've ever heard of it.

Should I brush the tongue with a regular toothbrush and toothpaste first, before using the tongue brush?
Is that Gentian violet on your tongue?
Is this recommended to do while having oral thrush?
What about metal ones like tongue sweeper?
I read "the mental ones", not me wanting to scrap my tongue telepathically

For the tounge brush do you put like mouth wash or toothpaste?
You don’t have to do either , I usually just use water. If you like the taste you could put a little bit of toothpaste. Just make sure not to use too much and to spit it out afterwards.
to minimize the growth on the tongue use 🥥 oil often🙂
I do oil pulling twice a day regular 🥥

Haha that would make it very hard to speak, eat, swallow, or clean your teeth. Your tongue has a lot of different functions :)
