18:17 OMG!! ❤❤❤ Also: 19:45 my absolute favourite kind of pull. Love you and the gel plate!! I will have to watch this a few more times and then try and print along with you! Thank you so much 🎉🎉 🤎🖤🩶🤍
@@jennifertobinart so many favorites. I design stencils for them so any of mine are of course a favorite. But I also love acqueous Effervescence which is a great stencil and I love a newer stencil of theirs Bubbles.
@@christyhartman ok woah! I’m so impressed!! I’ve been playing around & designing my own stencils in Procreate. 😎 Just got a Cricut for my birthday and plan to cut them soon. Excited to see how that goes! 😍😍
Love PM stencils, I have a couple of the stripper sets and want some of their stamps and laser prints for transfers. I watch their streams often. Welcome to the family and love your prints.
Great Video! Thank you so much for trying out the stencils and so happy you are loving your Wonky Nets (they are great classics). We are also fans of the Lukas Cryl Artic 🥰
@@jennifertobinart I finally got some image transfers to work today and I got a couple of beautiful prints done from two gorgeous stencils. I’m kinda giddy 😉
@@jennifertobinart Thank you!!! It isn't that I truly need... I have other's stencils, but the ones you used were wonderful! I usually get good chocolate and or flowers but I shouldn't be eating the chocolates and the flowers only last a week or so. We will see! He thinks it's fine.... I guess I would like someone to ask me what I want! LOL!
@@katpaints I hear so many people say this when it comes to gift giving! My husband and I often do “experience” gifts. And then we each get birthday money to buy something we want. It works well for us!
@@jennifertobinart I understand. We have been retired since 2002 and our disposable income has been messed with too many times. We have never been in a place where we have had to think much about expenses but things have changed a lot in the past few years. I know we don't need much but we've gotten in the habit of not thinking about fun things anymore. Strange times.
Thankyou for showing this. I love all the layers. I have a lot of sketch paper that is taking up too much space. I will start using them on the gel plate. I'm hoping they do not tare off the plate. They are cheap brands
You’re welcome, Julie! Thanks for watching. I have a feeling you’ll be fine. (Test in a small corner of worried.) But even the first pull I did was packing paper from moving. I’m all about finding cheaper solutions for paper for play sessions. When I know I’m doing finished pieces to sell I use Bristol or watercolor paper.
For using on the gel plate, do you feel like fluid paint works better than a thicker acrylic? And is translucent better than opaque, or just a different result? I am looking forward to your recycled materials video!
I’m so excited about the recycled materials one! I might have to film more than one, I have so much stuff saved up! Translucent and opaque are going to give you different results. The translucent colors I love because you can see the layers behind them. But then you’d need to keep in mind some basic color theory and how different colors “mix” together layered on top of each other. Opaque colors will hide all those previous layers. Both are good, it’s just something you’ll want to play around with and learn to keep in mind as you’re attempting to layer things. Moral of the story… play! 💕💕💕
FABULOUS! So, do you sell your 'landscapes' as is or do you add things to them? Frame them to sell, perhaps? Do they sell well? Curious, because I do a lot of gel printing, too (LOVE, ,LOVE it), and use a lot of them for collage.
Hi Deborah! I love this process too! Most of them are only created with the gel plate. I rarely paint anything extra in them. I actually have an online course that shows the entire process, in case you’re interested! www.jennifertobinart.com/courses And I feel they do sell well. I love hearing how people connect their own memories to different landscape paintings. They often tell me what the painting reminds them of when purchasing. 😍😍
