  • This is a video of me modifying and changing the mudguard on the back wheel to help keep mud off of yourself. I'm also changing the 50 tooth sprocket over to a 60 tooth giving the Coleman Bt200x more torque. I also take it for a few small hill climbs to test how well it worked.

    Nice job! I have the same bike, I have done the governor delete and 18lb valve springs. Very pleased with the results! I do want to get the 60 tooth sprocket as well. Have a blessed day in Jesus name!

    Cool. I always wondered what it would be like with a 60 tooth on the stock centrifugal clutch. I guess it works just fine. BTW- your master link clip is on backwards! 😱

    Thanks for the vid man, I'll be doing this to my BT pretty soon here for trail riding. I still want to hop it up for some speed, but I would like power as well.

    Spray some wd-40 or something on the plate you made it will help keep the mudd from sticking and building up while riding.

    I ended up buying a second fender and overlapping the 2 of them getting more coverage for motor and driver. They overlap in an area that's kinda hidden

      Yeah I have been thinking about trying that and I have a couple extra fenders from a trashed ct200

    I’ve had this problem with the clutch area that when you just ride you feel somthing getting stuck on the chain I’m confusion

    • @mrjoepete
      @mrjoepete 3 роки тому

      I had that happen and it turned out to be the chain tensioner between the clutch and the rear sproket under that guard. We ended up cleaning and lubricating the chain and the roller for that tensioner and it works great now!

    Install a stage 1 kit (intake, exhaust, and jet for the carb). It is well worth the money.

    Where’d you get the tires from. Size etc? My Coleman got flat from thorns I ran over, I think I need upgraded tires for the terrain I ride in.

    Do you feel like you lost a little top speed with the 60 tooth

      most definitively yes but i hadn't removed the throttle adjustment screw until i did this mod and that made up the difference for me

    Do you have a link to the sprocket you bought? I can only find them for the CT200U. Do the CT200U and BT200X have the same engine?

    • @makermentality1031
