"My son ask for thyself another kingdom
For that which I leave is too small for thee" Hope to hear this live
BRO YES HATD BE QO FUCKINZ COOL
"Somewhere in Time" is such a good album. I really would like to hear those songs performed live again, especially "Stranger in a Strange Land" and "Sea of Madness".
I remember the local radio station held a contest and the winners got to go on stage for "Heaven can Wait". Very good show!
Sea of Madness!
I was there on the opening night of that "somewhere in time" tour. It was minding blowing!!!
They will. It’s on the News released for the 2023 tour.
@@TheChadTI "The Loneliness OF The Long Distance Runner", which I believe they've only played one or two times ever since 1986
I'm almost crying. Somewhere In Time deserves this so much! The best Maiden album 🙏
Not their best but maybe your favorite. Great album though.
@@martymartin2894 It is their best album.
@@S113Productions your entitled to your opinion for me it's 7th son then maybe beast or debut then powerslave and peace mind then maybe brave new world or SIT.
Not the best for me (my favorite are Powerslave ) but one of the best and way better than Senjutsu
@@claudiocuevas8321 For me the golden age for Maiden will always be Powerslave, Somewhere In Time & Seventh Son. All three are absolute masterpieces ✨
Senjutsu is the first time that I, as a fan in my 20s, have been disappointed by a new Iron Maiden record. Many lackluster songs and probably the worst production the band have ever had. I would be fine with 2-3 songs from that album as long as they make due with Somewhere In Time 😅🙏
The biggest and best band in the world. Iron Maiden has never had a weak tour. He always gave his audience much more than he promised. We in Brazil know this well.
This will definitely be a weak tour, Senjitsu isn't good.
They sure are! One of the best to ever do it! Hard to imagine a band like them in the future...
Just imagining a concert with "Caught somewhere in time" as the opening song...mind blowing
With Blade Runner’s soundtrack as they did in 86
Blade runner theme as the opening back in 86 just blew my mind before the intro of Caught Somewhere in Time and then boom 💥 Maiden come racing out! Magical moment for me as teenage dirtbag maiden fan!!
Loved the vibe of this record, cannot wait!!
Holy shit man, it really lived up to the expectations. Intro absolutely crushed me on both Kraków shows
I can't believe it! A dream come true. Somewhere On Tour re-visited! Tears fill my eyes. "Caught Somewhere In Time", "Sea Of Madness", "Heaven Can Wait", "Stranger In A Strange Land" plus more classics according to Steve Harris. What a tour! Can't wait to see them. Up the Irons!
And Alexander The Great???
Alexander the Great, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and Caught Somewhere in Time are the only Maiden songs I have never heard live that I want to hear, still can't believe its going to happen, well hopefully, but I cannot seriously think they won't play these.
I would love to hear "Caught somewhere in time" played live. It's in my top 5 favorite Iron Maiden songs.
I don't think they've ever played Alexander the Great live! Cannot wait!!
Somewhere in time, the best they have made finally gets what it deserves.
Nope! It is Powerslave 🤗
That's it
Powerslave and Seventh Son Of The Seventh Son...
Nope the debut and killers
Virtual XI
Personally i think somewhere in time is their best work. Very closely followed by powerslave. So glad it's finally getting the love it deserves.
And "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son"
@@toddlesiak3837 my 3rd favourite.
@@theblackprince1346 Me too!
Completely agree!!
Days of Future Past would be a cool song to hear live this tour.
Yes, what a great album and tour. I was there at the kick-off of the "somewhere in time" world tour in Hampton Virginia. Four encores and fans still refused to leave the coliseum. My ears rang till the next day. I contribute some of my hearing loss today from that night... And yes, I would do it all over, again! 😉🤟👍
Saw them at MSG on that tour. It was amazing and I'm glad me and my brother were there to see it. Up the Irons! 🤘🏻🇬🇧🖤
@@russellhamilton2877 That's awesome!
@@TBONESIDEOFLIFE Did you notice the scoreline that flashes in the background? It says SAMURAI 5 CYBORGS 5. I wonder if that is a cryptic message that they are going to play 5 songs each from both albums. Then the rest of the set made up from an endless list of classics.
That’s awesome. By the way, any chance did you guys hear about a cherry bomb going off at one of the concerts and Bruce told people to kick the guy’s ass for lighting off a cherry bomb, and went back to singing after? I was told this happened at like a Somewhere in Time concert or something in the 80s.
@@russellhamilton2877 Hey, you may be on to something there. Good observation and theory there, my friend. We'll soon see if that plays out.
Telling the truth, for me 'Somewhere in time' is the best album of 80's, it deserves to be cherished through time!
it will
Always loved the vibe of this record!! 🤘
At last, the perfect time to play Alexander th Great live 😊😊😊
Wow! I'm stoked! Can't wait to hear Somewhere in Time songs live!
That cover at the end looks bloody amazing
Up the irons 🤘😝🤘
We are waiting for you, again, here in Brazil! We never get enough of Iron Maiden 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Oh god, please. Bring a date for Mexico, as I can see in the video, stranger in a strange land will be part of the set list, and I was born to listen to iron Maiden's best guitar solo, live. I need them to come back to Mexico
*For so long we on the channel have been talking about how SiT doesn't get the respect it deserves! Finally it looks like it will! Up the Irons!*
Yeah that the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the news. 😂 Epic timing!!! 😅
Do you think they will play Alexander though?
the easter and foreshadowing were real!
I thought of your channel too immediately… the metal gods have listened and answered our prayers! 🤘😎🤘(although wishful thinking they’ll come back to Australia on this tour)

Somewhere in Time?????? My favorite album possibly getting the recognition it deserves??? Sign me up!!!!!
Somewhere in Time is the best Heavy Metal album ever made. This made my year!!!
I’m so happy iron maiden is still here with us, some other bands would quit, i definetly have to go to this tour, all i gotta see is iron maiden’s notifications and boom im in HAHAHA 😂😂
Iron Maiden still sounds so great live! 🤘
Somewhere In Time is my all time favorite Maiden album, so glad its gonna get some recognition at long last.
Somewhere In Time. The best album ever made. Best vocals, best solos, best drums, best futuristic and spacious sound, best bass, even best cover art :)
The Best album ever made is SSOFASS
"Somewhere in Time" was and still is my favorite Maiden album.
Just imagine they playing Alexander the Great and Hell on Earth. That would be a dream. Maiden, please record this tour! Dont make the same 1986 1987 no recording mistake!!!!
This has been the best news I’ve heard this year! I cannot believe this is actually happening. My favourite album and latest album combining. The original SIT tour was absolutely incredible. Good lord if they do Deju Vu I will cry. I already cried when I received the email for this!!
Thank you Maiden. You run through my bloody every day!
UP THE FUCKING IRONS!! 🤘🏼
Same here! I couldn´t believe my eyes when I read teh news yesterday. After years of searching for proper bootlegs from the SIT era my dream comes to life. Imagine hearing the Blade Runner intro next year....
I hope they play both Stranger in a Strange Land AND Lost in a Lost World for this tour, that'd be awesome
Im pretty sure they would do that
You'll get both
Hell on earth!!!
'Stranger in a Strange Land' is a definite. The song is already being promoted with ads like this. 👍
they will surely play "Days of Future Past" too, and I'd like to see those 2. And they can't miss Hell on Earth
2 days Maiden Fans! 2 more days until the Tour starts in Slovenia! I CANNOT wait! I REALLY hope they play Montsegur and Mother Russia! Others I hope they play are: Alexander the Great, The Assassin, The Nomad, songs from X Factor and Virtual XI. I am pumped! I have no money due to being on Disability so I won't be able to attend any concerts when they get to Illinois, but I can't wait for people to post videos here on UA-cam. Have a great and safe tour Iron Maiden! UP THE IRONS !!!!
I come from the future, this tour IS EPIC.
YES! Please bring this tour to the US. Somewhere in Time is definitely my favorite IM album. I would love to get to see you guys play, well, EVERYTHING on that album, especially Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and Sea of Madness! Mixing two great albums for an awesome tour, oh man, great idea. Yeah, we need this in the States
They re in the states now , are they not?
@@zoef234 I believe so, yes. But they are currently doing their Legends of the Beast tour. I just hope they bring this Future past tour to the US
Haven’t visited Australia since 2016.
Cant wait. Njoy🤘
@@zoef234 Haven’t visited India since ‘08.
@@adamhendrickson512 ouch!
Hell yeah! I'm predicting something like this for a setlist:
Caught Somewhere in Time
Days of Future Past
The Time Machine
Stranger in a Strange Land
Wildcard song (2 Minutes, Wrathchild, Brave New World, Evil, etc.)
Heaven Can Wait
The Parchment
Hell on Earth
Fear of the Dark
Wasted Years
Alexander the Great
Iron Maiden
The Number of the Beast
The Trooper
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Really good guesses, almost identical to mine! If you've ever studied the patterns of their set-lists since Bruce & Adrian returned in 1999, then your set-list above would fit right into that pattern. One other thing though - I think they've already dropped a hint for us in the tour advert/video: the scoreboard showing "Samurai 5, Cyborgs 5" hints to there being 5 songs from each album, which is also the same thing they did for both of their 2008-09 and 2012-13 history tours where they played 5 songs from the 'featured' album on each of those tours ('Powerslave', and 'Seventh Son...' respectively). So because of that I think they'll also play "Death Of The Celts", in place of the 'Wildcard' song on your list...
I bet for somthing like this:
Caught Somewhere in Time
Senjutsu
Stratego
Stranger in a Strange Land
The wicker man / Blood Brothers / 2 minutes to midnight / Can i play with madness / Revelations
Alexander the Great / Hell on earth
The written on the wall
The trooper
Fear of the Dark
Wasted Years
The number of the beast
Hallowed be thy name
Heaven can wait
Iron Maiden
Run to the hills/2 minutes to midnight/Running free/Aces high
Steve Harris says,
“Following the release of our latest album, Senjutsu, we updated the current Legacy of the Beast Tour a little by opening the show with the first 3 songs from it, with the Japanese Palace stage set. As it doesn’t make a lot of sense to repeat this for a Senjutsu album tour, we thought about other options and we’ve decided to revisit Somewhere In Time as that tour didn’t feature in the various retrospective history tours we’ve played over the years. They were based on our 80’s concert videos and sadly we did not film that tour (blame the manager!!). We have had lots of requests from fans over the years for many tracks on it so we are now going to play them, plus of course a few others we know you will like! It will also be particularly satisfying to finally get to play some of the more epic tracks on Senjutsu, it's been a long wait! 2023 is going to be an exciting time and we’re really looking forward to seeing everyone again in the UK, Ireland and around Europe”.
Does this mean Alexander the Great is finally going to be played?!?
Does this mean The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, Caught Somewhere in Time, The Parchment and Hell on Earth will be played in the same concert?! O.O
@@dakibmw I was about to write the same comment until I saw yours. I am also hoping Alexander the Great to be in the setlist. This tour is going to be unforgettable!
@@dr.j007 Someone had asked Bruce Dickinson "Is Iron Maiden ever going to be play Alexander the Great live?" in a youtube video. He had answered "Yes, but I don't know when.". I think we are about to find out when.
@@educatedfool7438 do you have the link to that UA-cam video?

Yes, live DVD/Blu-ray for sure!!
@@davidgrier7705 I'm sure they will film this tour, they realized that they made a mistake for not filming the SIT tour back in the 80s
@@christianjulio3537 You're 100% right, that's my guess too - plus I'm assuming that they'll be using the Senjutsu stage set as well, so if so, it'll be a double-special concert video...
@@davidgrier7705 it will be a really special live dvd, hope they do some documentary of the rehearsal and the tour also 🔥
'86 was the year of the quintessential 80's sound. By god, this album I love for that very sound and the atmosphere it brings. Certainly nostalgic to the heartstrings.
Up the Irons forever!!
Absolutely! Love the futuristic vibe of this record!!
the setlist that I think they can play
Blade Runner Intro
1- Caught somewhere in time
2- Stratego
3-Wasted Years
4-Children of the Damned
5- Days of Future Past
6- The Time Machine
7- The Trooper
8- Heaven Can Wait
9- Stranger in a Strange Land
10- Lost in a Lost World
11 - Hell On Earth
12- Number of The Beast
13- Fear of the dark
14- Iron Maiden
15- Alexander the great
16 -The Evil that men do
17- Hallowed Be thy Name
A live dvd/blu-ray would be nice.
This!! Like Steve Harris said, they never did film the SIT tour back in the day (other than the fantastic 'Stranger In A Strange Land' single/video), so now this time they can do it justice!
Somewhere in time
My God! My prayers have been listened..
i can't wait to see them, got my tickets to see them on september 30 in edmonton,UP THE IRONS.
best news of 2022 ! Can't wait for 2023 and perhaps the most exciting Maiden tour they ever did for their fans
Ive always loved this album, been one of my favorites
I love both albums!!! Please come to Calgary Alberta Canada!!!!
Best Maiden album!!!! And best sounding drums! 👍🏻
This is great not only Somehere in time is my favorite album but it was also my dads first Maiden concert so this will be great! And plus the new stuff from senjutsu!!!! you get some New and you get some Old! hell yeah Up the Irons🤘🏻
Fantastic art 🤍
Finally !!😃😃😃❤❤❤....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those 2 albums have a strange connection, I love them both!! it will be great!
That’s a fantastic mix up with somewhere in time and sentjetsu….I’m presuming we get to hear some classic never played, including Alexander the Great!!
I hope Alexander the Great will be the last track on the tour setlist. Such a great song to end a concert with, especially when it is a song that the fans have waited since 1986 to see live!
This sounds absolutely epic! Love the Somewhere in Time album, please come to Finland!
Powerslave , live after death, & Somewhere in time… That’s my window(or door) into Maiden .(of course caught Run To the hills late at night on MTV even before…)
So I’d love to see this tour!
This is a tour many in the U.S. will want to see, Maiden are very likely to sell out shows in the states for this tour, U.S. fans cherish Somewhere in Time, second only to Powerslave as far as favorite Maiden albums from the '80's plus for old fans like myself who love Senjutsu, perhaps, they will include The Parchment on this next go-round, fingers crossed!
Iron Maiden sempre a melhor banda do mundo.
I'm so glad they're playing songs from Somewhere In Time. Such an underrated gem. Maybe this tour they'll actually play the very beginning of Caught Somewhere In Time
At last! This tour will be phenomenal!
It will show their Legacy to be " alive and kicking" once and for all.....
Hallowed be thy name Iron Maiden, the greatest of them all!
Somewhere in time Album and the Time Machine Song will fit perfectly together !!! UP THE IRONS
The "Somewhere in Time" tour was fantastic.
Somewhere on Tour?

I am fan of maiden since 1992 and still somewhere in time remains my favourite album. I can't wait to listen live. Is there anybody that also has s.i.t. top of the albums? I think we are many. Up the irons.
Yes, there's tons of us like you & me, but unfortunately our voices have been drowned out over the years by other Maiden fans who prefer their other albums over SIT...
This is true my friend. But i think it isn't too late.
@@stevesteve2696 Right, that's why this tour is happening - Steve & Bruce and those guys have kept hearing fans of SIT championing that album over the years, and now they've finally figured out a way to go back and play a bunch of those songs again. And from the clue that they dropped in the tour advert/video, it looks like we'll be getting 5 songs from SIT, as well as 5 from Senjutsu. Of course that will be along with the "usual" 5 or 6 classics that they always play...
I hope that they eventually bring this tour to the US, because I will be heartbroken if I never get to see them play Alexander the Great & Stranger in a Strange Land
I’m sure they’ll bring it to the U.S. We may have to wait until 2024 unless they come here later in ‘23.
Either way, I’ll be there as long as I’m breathing. I’m seeing them in 11 days in Worcester, MA. Can’t wait!
They will bring it to the US eventually. However, don’t get your hopes up for Alexander the Great. They’ve never played a song on a later tour that wasn’t played on the album tour. My initial thought is that it will be Caught Somewhere in Time, Wasted Years, Stranger in a Strange Land, and Heaven Can Wait. Possibly, but unlikely, Sea of Madness. However, since CSIT might be difficult for Bruce and Nicko at this point, I see that as a possibility to bring in Alexander the Great since it’s a bit slower.
@@jerseytiger1980
I agree…CSIT is a tough song for Bruce and Nicko at this point. And Steve is very stubborn…it’s clear he doesn’t like ATG much and has resisted playing it all these years. I’ve never gotten the fascination with that song myself so I could take it or leave it.
I would think Wasted Years, Heaven Can Wait, and Stranger in a Strange Land are almost all certainties.
I personally love Deja Vu but that song is never talked about.
@@keefriff99 I don’t get the love either, but when I was a much younger fan I did really enjoy it. As a song it’s not that great, but would be cool to see live after 35 years of a very vocal minority begging for it. I’d be all for Deja Vu, but I think that’s another one that they never played live. I’m most hyped for Stranger in a Strange Land, but also torn. It’s my favorite from the album, and top 10 overall, but I was at the NYC show that it was last played on Ed Hunter Tour, and for some stupid reason I like saying that, lol. As cool as this concept is I have a feeling it’s going to be disappointing unless they play 1 or 2 SIT deep cuts like CSIT, Sea of Madness, Deja Vu, or Lonliness of the Long Distance Runner. I could leave or take Heaven Can Wait, and Wasted Years has been played to death.
With playing the epic Senjutsu songs, and the staples like IM, FOTD, Trooper, NOTB, and HBTN I don’t think there will be more than 4 SIT songs, 2 of which have been played a bunch over the years. Maybe they will make up for that and bring back the inflatables!
@@jerseytiger1980
Ah, I wish I had seen Ed Hunter! So lucky…I wish they did a professional release of one of those shows.
It’s annoying that Maiden always teases “deep cuts” but then plays…Wasted Years and Heaven Can Wait. As much as I love WY (not so much HCW)… c’mon, they’ve been played fairly recently. Hardly novelties at this point.
So at the most we’ll get 3 deep cuts off SIT (if you consider SIASL a deep cut) which is still pretty great.
The Jacket with the lights .... thank you ...
My favorite band!!! EVER!!! AMAZING TOUR! FINALLY SOMEWHERE IN TIME!!!
Wow! Back to 1986! Newly IM will perform tracks from "Somewhere in Time"...
Hope they use again synths connected to electric guitars...
However, I think really IM should pay tribute next year to "Piece of Mind" for the 40th anniversary...
