@@VNeto94 The original "The Red and the Black" is way better, man. You don't need to remove all the sense of grandeur and spaciousness it had. I like the original because it felt like this great rambling yarn you could get lost in - which wouldn't normally be a compliment, except the song's numerous guitar passages are wonderful, and flow into each other in a fun, playful sort of manner. That bass intro is really great - you can feel the weight and size of the song looming, huge as it is, when those ominous first few notes play. And the "woah oh oh" parts help the song. The version you want just would sound choppy and disjointed. Then again, I don't see a point in fan edits of artists' work in any way most of the time. I like seeing what the original intent was. I'm from Argentina.
Red symbolizes emotions and Black is the ego mind of thoughts that are blind to everything (as all thoughts/beliefs are at surface level in either past/future in duality in the illusion of time, not unity/oneness - love of the infinite NOW of eternity of SOUL). The only way of light/truth/spirit is to not think and not give into fear (emotions) and go deep within to activate all that is Within you (White = Light) by taking Entheogen plants (Shamanism) that do just that. It's not a coincidence Iron Maiden's Book of Souls album began with the word "Shaman" in the opening track- "If Eternity Should Fail", right in the introduction of the song. As Shamanism is the Truth by activating all that is WITHIN you. Hence why every rel-igion on the p-lanet states the kingdom of Nature/Universe/Heavens is all Within you...By activating all seven chakras within you.
The band has been on stage around the world for nearly 50 years now, and they still have the energy and passion to keep on playing for all generations. Truly they are living legends.

That's what makes you understand when some people say "Maiden is Maiden"! There are no words to describe them, it's just Maiden! They became an adjective!
Crazy motherfuckers. At 5:00 and onwards it just keeps on going and going, until it reaches musical heights I don't think we have words for yet. It is pure musical orgasm. And to just see them rocking on at their age, going at it like they have not stopped doing for the past decades, the same passion, the same energy. Living legends.

I'm taking myself to make my dreams come true!I have a lot of Graditude for Steve Bruce, my three amigos, and Nikko ! Thank you, Iron Maiden. From here to enternity ❤
That's exactly what I was thinking listening to this. Most songs reach a climax. This song climaxes and keeps it there for several minutes. Like a never-ending orgasm.
They're the godfathers of Heavy Metal. They literally invented a music genre and completely innovated the metal and rock scene. NOTHING in any lifetime will come close, everything will always be compared to Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden is a "Shamanic band" of infinite Truths and love and light. That nobody else can see and understand. Only UNLESS you have Be-come " it " and totally transformed your-Self to infinite Truths of Soul and Spirit in higher dimensions of consciousness can you possibly ever totally understand the beauty of Iron Maiden. Because, "If it's not Shamanic, it's not Organic. " Not many people have the ability to understand Iron Maiden, as most people live in the lies of duality of good and evil of the mind and are just walking "reactions", and lack the consciousness. But, Iron Maiden = Easily the greatest Heavy Metal band in music history. No band writes such depth in their lyrics of the overall human condition with such intelligence & wisdom, bringing light, combined with such beautiful depth, grace, and power in their music. Absolute masters of their craft and creativity. They are untouchable. All you have to do is read Bruce's published books to see these guys have tons of direct Spiritual experiences. These guys know truth and fully know and see right through the lies of society's game, and they see right through all the lies of Religion (and when I say religion I am talking about the lies churches teach, not true Spirituality, as spirituality and religion are nothing alike). Maiden is so much better than Metallica in so many ways. Much better musicians, better singer, far better songwriting. Much more melodic. More "pure" energy. Have almost twice the albums of Metallica, far more longevity and have so many more great songs, and Maiden never wrote a bad album ( you could say they had a sub-par album in the 90's, but remember that was with half the band missing doing their solo stuff). Metallica never really had much to say, while Maiden has so much to say that allow you to really question so many things. Maiden never sold out by producing garbage albums like Metallica's St Anger to appease popularity and the current music "trends" of society, that always pass away, are totally meaningless, and are fake anyways., And you definitely won't see Iron Maiden prostituting themselves in silly reality TV shows like Metallica and KISS have done for years. It's just not Maiden's style. They have absolutely no interest in being "celebrities", or any gossip/drama. Drawing attention away from them because as they said, the music is about much more than them. Which is why they have a mascot "eddie" on their album covers, so people focus on eddie and not the "images" of the band members. Having Eddie (which is just a representation of the blind ego-based mind) leaves them alone to be themselves and they don't have to have any fake image of being "rock stars". As Bruce once said, We can continue making music when we're old and ugly and just slap Eddie on the album cover and nobody will mind. And it is brilliant. Inner light doesn't need the spotlight. Maiden always stayed true and original. Always timeless. Eternal. Nobody sounds like them and nobody ever will. Nobody will again write such important and complete concept albums with such atmosphere like Somewhere in Time and Seventh son, with that super high-level musicianship and genius bass and guitar work (and no band introduced synthesizers into their music with such seamless genius as Maiden did on those 2 albums),, as the concepts of those albums are vital to every human being and Spirit- realizing the illusion of time, and seventh's son concept of realizing the illusion of duality,. The beauty and truths of 1984's " Powerslave" album with it's beautiful egyptian theme, and the striking messages that are right in the title track itself (Powerslave). How humans are slaves to death (in other words, slaves to the illusions of Time), therefore slaves to needing power or any control or judgment, the cause of all our deep inner separations, our greed and selfishness and total blindness, because of the Ego false-self. All of our problems come from our absolute stupidity of fear of death, as humans are totally separated from Truths of Spirit and Soul. The more one fears death, the more one is fearful of life and fearful of fully receiving and giving love. Truth is always paradoxical, as at the speed of light there is no time, it's the Eternal Now of presence. In other words no duality of Good and evil, but only "unity" consciousness of light of the infinite Oneness of the Universe, as you are the Universe ( it's not a coincidence that Maiden's new album has a song titled "Speed of Light"). And it's not a coincidence that "Somewhere in Time" was their next album after they produced one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all-time - Powerslave. And who else in heavy metal at the time had the courage to write long 14-minute masterpieces like Iron Maiden's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" to close out an album?? The answer is nobody else, only Maiden, because it was unheard of before that. And their new album, they just wrote an 18-minute masterpiece to close that album with most of the band over 60. Again, IN-tegrity. Nobody else had a 7-album run like Maiden's first 7 albums. Some bands may put out a couple nice albums in their prime and whisper away into the night, but Maiden put together 7 fantastic albums in a row. And the fact they put out so much great material of those 7 monumental albums in just an 8 year span is unfathomable. Magical. They don't write about meaningless sleaze as other bands do, with the exception of the song "22 Acacia Avenue" in their early days (although the end of that song does have a positive message), and the band said they regretted it, and why they very rarely play it live, even though it is a very good song and fans always ask them to play it live. Speaking of Live, their live albums are excellent. You simply cannot find bands with live albums that can approach Maidens live recordings, and in ways better than the studio albums, and that speaks volumes. And at 60 years of age and 40 years into their careers, they are still pumping out great new material. Unlike Metallica where their last 4 albums they were just looking for something to click with no purpose or direction, just poking around aimlessly, it's blatantly obvious. Just 15 years into Metallica's career they were long done producing shameful music with albums like Reload and St Anger. While Maiden, always progressing itself, yet staying true to their form and originality at the same time, 20+ years into their careers came out with a very good album 'Brave New world' . The band quietly laughing at anyone who thought they were done, with a nice tip of the hat to the legendary psychedelic medicine visionary Alduous Huxley. Many songs on that album like "Dream of Mirrors", and "Ghost of the Navigator" that metallica can't touch. If you want to see what a fraud Metallica has always been, a simple search for Grunge "Metallica's shadiest secrets" will do the trick. And years later, Iron Maiden 25 to 35 years into their careers wrote and produced so many great songs like "The Nomad", " Dance of Death", "The Red and the Black, "The Talisman", "If Eternity should fail", The Man who would be King", "Paschendale", "Brighter than a Thousands Suns", "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg", "Lord of Light, Isle of Avalon", "The Legacy", "The Longest Day", "Montsegur", "Starblind"", "Out of the Shadows", "The Book of Souls", "Journeyman (and Journeyman being my personal Ayahuasca journey tribute song :-)" .... "Rainmaker", "Coming Home", "For the Greater Good of God", just to name a few songs that metallica hasn't come close to achieving in their mid to later years. Cliff Burton was the heart of Metallica and by far their best and most talented musician. Burton was to Metallica what Steve Harris is to Iron Maiden. Steve Harris is widely considered to be the best heavy metal bassist of all-time, and if Burton were still alive, he'd be right there with Harris, that's how good Burton was. Nobody in Metallica comes close to Burton's immense talent he had as a musician. When Burton passed away in 1986 Metallica went downhill as they lost their true backbone and juice. And they replaced him with mere hired guns to control, just a hired body to fill in, not to have as a real contributor. But let's face it, a major part of Metallica's popularity is just because of the label that they are an 'american band'. Metallica is always covering Maiden songs in their concerts, and they've played multiple Maiden songs in their concerts as Metallica was influenced by Iron Maiden (All you have to hear is Lars Ulrich grovel at Iron Maiden like a lost puppy during Maidens 2008 tour) . But you don't see Maiden covering Metallica songs. Because Maiden IS Maiden. Even if you split the band members into doing solo work, James Hetfield couldn't come close to writing such a beautiful solo album for himself as Bruce did with "The Chemical Wedding", and what a masterpiece album that is. Why don't more people know about Bruce's solo work? who knows, but people are missing out. One thing is for sure, there is so much more love and MYSTERY in Iron Maiden's music. And so much more meaning. And they always truly progressed. Not many people understand the deep Spiritual meanings in Iron Maiden's music, or understand the full concepts of their albums because they're quite deep, mysterious, wonderous, and absolutely magnificent. But once you grow Spiritually to higher levels of Consciousness, Maiden can bring you to weeping tears with their beauty and Truths in their music. Metallica doesn't have that depth, beauty, or power. Real Power is so much more than just playing fast and heavy. Iron Maiden is so much more than just a great heavy metal band, Maiden is much more than the music. As when it comes to the greatest in anything, there is always Much More than meets the eyes (and ears). Eye love you Iron Maiden!!. Gratitude !! Shanti OM . Namaste!
Flat Earth, All confusion and sadness and pain and suffering comes from the Ego-thinking mind. All thoughts are lies. Hence why satan is nothing more than fancy word-play for the ego mind. Hence Iron Maiden's " Piece of Mind" album cover from 1983. As "you" don't exist. The "I" is total illusion, and the divine light of Heavy Metal music always told you that, and very explicitly. Do yourself a big favor and read all the replies from my wife Simione and eye , our replies to Chris Pinto at the youtube video titled " Tool Fear Innoculum Special Edition Opening and Exploration" .. And read all our posts, there are about 70 replies there, and click all the links to our posts. And you will see in striking detail how all government and religion is a total lie, and how Heavy Metal music always told you that from the beginning. As Rock N' Roll and Heavy Metal music is Gods music. Always has been and always will be ;')
Again, iron Maiden's "Piece of Mind" album cover from 1983 tells you everything. Eddie is nothing more than a metaphorical representation of the Ego mind, as who the person thinks they are and all their beliefs are total PRISONS. The mind knows nothing. As everything in society and religion is a lie, as it's all illuminati-government manufactured. Ask yourself, since when did the government buy the Earth for you to pay them so they can tell you how to live here ? Exactly, they never bought the earth, it's all a total sham. Satan (or devil) is nothing more than fancy word-play for thoughts of the ego thinking mind, as all beliefs and all thoughts are outwardly ( not inwardly), therefore all thoughts and all beliefs are all lies and illusions when it comes to infinite spiritual truths. Don't forget to read the tombstone on Maiden's LIVE AFTER DEATH album cover from 1985 , death is total illusion. People miss that just as people miss the 3rd eye Pineal Gland that is depicted in detail just below the moonlight on Maidens "Somewhere in Time" album cover. Look at the top of the building just to the right under the moonlight. The pineal gland 3rd eye within you that you must activate - Spiritual Vision. Just as Eddie is stricken activating the 3rd eye Pineal gland on Live After Death's album cover. The pineal gland 3rd eye and our chakra system is all over the Powerslave album (1984) insert as well. Simply listen to Iron Maiden's song titled "Revelations", the song is about activating the 7 chakras, the venom up the spine by facing your Dark - Ness, as all spiritual teachings are in the dark. Activating all 7 chakras within you along the Spine (via Entheogen plants) is the only way to Spiritual Ascension, as all religions since the first religion the Rig Veda of India come from Alchemy (Entheogens) , in other words, Shamanism. Hence why Bruce Dickinson speaks of that through his solo albums, for example his song " The Alchemist" ( which eye have uploaded on my YT channel). Gods music. Period.
The greatest Rock N' Roll bands ALWAYS spoke of Entheogen plants, such as Black Sabbath's song "Behind the Wall of Sleep." So then explain WTF are people believing ?! As all religions reference Entheogen plants since the first religion the Rig Veda of India, there are hundreds of books written that prove it. This is something churches will never tell you as government and modern religion is nothing more than a fake tool to control the masses. All religions reference the 7-chakras that you must activate WITHIN you, which is the ONLY way to Spiritual Ascension, which is exactly what entheogen plants activate within us. Hence why every religion on the planet states - " The kingdom of Heaven and God is WITHIN You". As all religions come from Shamanism at their roots. But religions have been completely manipulated since, by man's stupid need for "control". But you are terrified of going deep within millions of times deeper than your Ego-mind wants to go via Entheogen plants, because there is endless darkness and hells you have to face.. That only you created. Words like satan are nothing more than fancy word-play for thoughts and beliefs, in other words your ego thinking Mind. Enemies do not exist in reality, you are always and forever your own worst enemy, lifetime through lifetime through many lifetimes. You will reincarnate in your next life to exactly that which yoi hate the most, as that is how the infinite intelligence of the Universe and Spirit/Nature teaches. But of course, you absolutely hate human spiritual ascension, as it's a reflection of your hatred for humanity. As you hate yourself. Atheists hate direct spiritual experiences, just like a christian hates direct spiritual experiences . Through the devil which is nothing more than your EGO thinking blind mind. The fact that fake society tells you that christians and atheists are opposites is laughable. Hilarious !! As they are entirely the same. Hence why both hate deep questions, just as government hates deep questions. As you are just like the government in reality and created by government as everything you believe and think, they told you to believe and think.
Yeah book of souls is there best album for me hell most of 2015 is peoples best work aside from film but video games and music at there best I bought this album once I finished Undertale because I thought it was a prequel of it lol yes I was that dumb not checking the dates
And I truly mostly agree with you, Maiden fans are far and wide. But the lengths that Phish fans go is truly astounding to me. But, admittedly they are not as big of a fan base, that’s for sure.
I had a friend who told me Maiden should have retired after The Book of Souls album and tour because they sounded weak and soulless on it. I HAD I friend...
StalkerMonolith, they should have reatired after the utter shite of a crap album 'Dance of Death'. It's shameful on every level. Never released anything actualy good since 1999 for heaven's sake ! This song is good, but scratching around for the occasional worthy track is just lame for any band's standards, let alone Iron Maiden. I won't even mention the 90's, it's too painful, allthough not as bad as...well, with great pain I must say....Bad, but not as bad as their second half of their carreer. In fact, it's been a longer period. Oh my God, I hate to even thik about it. I am no stuck guy, give us back the 80's like...But yeah, bands stand for something. They kept the lyrics interestingish but really, the music went down the bog. I say FINALLY sack that clown Gers, and start writting some kinky, streetwise, progressive stuff from the heart. I mean clearly they CAN'T go wrong commercialy...What's the worst thing that can happen? Check Saxon as an example. And they aren't half as good as Iron Maiden on their best day.
@@DidacticEditions that's your opinion, I think many will disagree... I think some of their best albums are in the second bruce era, for me the best is "A Matter of Life and Death". Also, I think their latest albums are much more complex then their 80's stuff, and I apreciate that
@@noam4832 We re all brothers in metal and in the Iron Maiden family above all. But with much respect, many can disagree all they want. That doesn't change the definition of music, the complexity and quality of it. Sure there are tastes, but long songs with sudden random changes will match complexity, definetely not in quality, the masterpieces of the 80's. So, I love Brave new world. It's a brilliant album, different to that era, but good. The rest after that...Sorry they cannot compare. Plus, back in the first decade, you had masterpiece after masterpiece album in quick succession, with every single song being perfect...But yeah
@@DidacticEditions Dance of Death wasn't their best, but it wasn't that bad and Book of Souls is their #2 best album ever. I swear guys like you think they should have packed it in after Number of the Beast so they could never tarnish them with any other music they could ever possibly make.
@@Shockeye00 how dumb are you????? They should never pack it up, but 7th son of a 7th son is their last IRON MAIDEN album. Shit hot, no skippable material etc. Guys like my nothing. Get real
My first time getting my ass kicked by Adrian was the Song "Stranger in a Strange Land" back in 1986 as a teen. Adrian wrote that song and all guitar parts. Eye listened to Maiden since 1983's Piece of Mind album. But that solo and guitar work from "Stranger" ripped me apart to pieces and everything Iron Maiden opened up for me. Loads of spiritual truths on that album and all through their fantastic and timeless discography of albums if you simply allow yourself to stop listening ( the lies of effort) and learn how to Hear ( to let go of your ego mind) :-)
It's difficult not to say this is one of the masterpieces of Iron maiden because everybody knows that they have a lot of masterpieces but, wow i couldn't find another adjective like this. Masterpiece

Satan (or devil) is nothing more than fancy word-play for he ego thinking mind, as all beliefs and all thoughts are outwardly ( not inwardly), therefore all thoughts and all beliefs are all lies and illusions. The pineal gland 3rd eye and our chakra system is all over the Powerslave album insert as well. Activating all 7 chakras within you ( via Entheogen plants) is the only way to Spiritual Ascension, as all religions since the first religion the Rig Veda of India come from Alchemy (Entheogens) , in other words, Shamanism. Hence why Bruce Dickinson speaks of that through his solo albums, for example his song " The Alchemist" ( which eye have uploaded on my YT channel). Nature is my church, and Rock N' Roll and Heavy Metal music is my religion :-)
I'd love to hear TRATB without synths! It would be incredible! There needs to be one of those apps or web pages that remove vocals, or isolate vocals, or whatever. Can you imagine if you could remove synths from a song??? It would be incredible!
It like this, black sabbath invented the ball, led zeplin the bat, deep purple the catchers MIT. What iron maiden did was play the game jf baseball, set the rules and gold standard. They knocked the ball out of the park. That is my analogy of iron maiden. They will always be the solid gold standard of music period.
This is Iron Fvcking Maiden, boys and girls. By far the most beautiful, the most powerful, the deepest, the most spiritual, most loving, the most truthful and genuine band of music (of All genres) that ever existed and will exist !! Thank - You Mother Ayahuasca !! Endless Infinite Gratitude !! : - )
Wow still sound great! One day back in the late 1970's I came home and saw this cassette tape with this cool picture on it. Iron Maiden Killers. I shared a room with my older brother. This was in California. I put it in and was BLOWN AWAY! Ive been a fan ever since
For the ones who complain they are too old, here you go, 60 year old men playing a song that is 13 minutes long and being amazing at it. Those are true musicians. These people are and will always be legends!
The instrumental part in the second half of the song should be a track on its own. Great harmonies, stunning guitar solos and precise hammering from Mr. McBrain. Brilliant!
I could be wrong but I think it is the only time all three guitarists have played the lead at the same time with no rhythm guitarist. It is just the three leads and Steve on the bass.
Could have been another masterpiece of an instrumental song after so many years! Still, because I know what's coming, I go through the first part of the song just to get to the second part of the song :) This cut reminds me a bit of the song "Virus".
Magnificent. The guitarists are incredible. Way out there. Anyone who doesn't think Yanick Gers isn't there, go to hell. Janick is amazing. Adrian and Dave are amazing. Together, they are Iron Maiden...
The older they get, the better they are. It's incredible after all these years to keep such a lighting flame. Their happyness and joy to play live on stage
their phenomenal stage presence and magical charisma doesn´t come through in studio recordings, since I´ve finally seen them live I promise, when the guys entering the stage: a tremendous force of nature suddenly is let loose....to see them live is just....I don´t have words to descibe it, because there are no words great enough....
Iron Maiden is one the few bands that actually sounds better live than on the album, that’s says a lot because their albums are forged from steel like a battle axe waiting to be welded in combat!🤘🏽🎸🔥
A DEMONIC MASTERPIECE.....a jewel in their discography, and THIS is all the proof you need, if ANYONE ever left a legacy it will be the true metal ICONS, Iron Maiden, comparable to none, absolutely none !!!!
1 million % agree with you! Quite possibly THE best band in not just rock music history but in the whole of history as humankind knows? UP THE IRONS!!!
@@susannewilliamsson8339 I think 'a genre of their own' as you've just described it is the best way to describe Maiden that I've ever heard, each member a musical legend that's for sure! @@alex.t76 ... not from this world! I've been a Maiden fan since I was a kid and his solos only get better! I've heard them millions of times and it's still breathtaking.
I have listened to Iron Maiden from their first album to their last. There are many great songs from that time frame. This song right hear, is one that I have listened to more than any other song of theirs. This is a classic.
Every time I hear the parts from 9:27 onward, I remind myself why Iron Maiden is my favorite band. How the hell can you still write songs like this after almost 40 years in the business?!
Same comment but my favorite part starts at 9m00s... I dont know another band that can reinvent itself after so many years and come out with such epic songs ! (maybe Rush can qualify as this with Clockwork Angels but that's another story...;-) )
James Thwaite exactly, I´ve always said their music since that particular album have become more ravishing, captivating, complexed and sublime, and I honestly think Janick is mostly responsible for that, all theese soft, gentle intros and outros, mainly on accoustic guitar, the long sprawling progressive tracks. I honestly think we can thank Janick for most of it, I love and admire the guy to bits.....
Dave Murray... Legend! The way he seamlessly swaps between him Les Paul and Strat multiple times in this video without dropping a note is amazing!!! ;-)
Why the blokes from Iron Maiden have not been knighted by their sovereign I cannot comprehend. 40 years of kicking ass should get them all a sword to the shoulder.
Rumor has it that they tried to knight Bruce twice, but he swiftly dispatched them with fencing skills, thinking he was under attack. There is a song called "Flash of the Blade" detailing the incident on the album Powerslave.
The Guitologist it’s because they don’t care much for royalty. Never have and never will. They actually earned their money but have remained common folk.
I actually get chills from this watching it on youtube, not even being there live. So beautiful. I love how much fun they are having playing it, too. Iron Maiden is a goddamn worldwide treasure.
Somewhere around 9:54, this is a band that KNOWS they are delivering a live performance for the ages--- the reactions by Adrian, Janick, and Dave are absolutely killer.
Man, seeing people enjoy themselves like these guys do makes them seem ageless and young. To say it like a full-blown hippie, the joys of life are immortal and not even your age can restrict you from them. Have fun.
maybe they are somewhere in time, or the brave new world, the different world, out of the shadows, probably travelling where eagles dare for the longest day, for the greater good of God they are turning into lord of the flies...
Bruce is the only man on planet Earth who approaches perfection. Excellent in everything he does. Thank you Iron Maiden for being a part of my life. *BRAZIL LOVES IRON MAIDEN*
Few bands have consistently given such quality without selling out. Maiden have been cranking it out for decades and in my view have just released some of their best work. They have matured. They have grown. Their complexity has increased. Just like their fan base, as we grow older and develop as people so they continue to give us quality music that remains true to their roots, but has developed as well. Saw them live with the Book of Souls tour and it exceeded my substantial expectations. That doesn't happen often!
Quality? It is crap, happy go lucky "celtish crap riff", same shit they've reproduced on Senjutsu on various long shitty repetitive songs. 3:00 Bruce can't fucking sing, and it is Gers that does that ridiculous solo-melody-shit of main melody on Bruce, that fucking prick!
The crowd chiming in for the “woah oh oh oh!” Is probably on level with the intro the fear of the dark, rock in rio 2001 and anytime Sabbath played War Pigs live... Maiden thrives off of the crowd interacting and I love it
I never get tired of this song! It's incredible how Iron Maiden keeps getting better and better over the years. 9:27 is EPIC! my favorite part of the song. I love Janick's energy!!
Literally just forwarded this song to one of my friends and told him to play it at 9:25! Funny to see this comment now Haha This solo gives me all kinds of feelings. MASTERPIECE 🔥
Maiden is the only band that could change their sound this much since their roots, and their fans will still love every second of it. Even if it's different, it's still REALLY fucking good and that's why Maiden is awesome.
This is why maiden rules the planet 24/7 365 days a yr

@@metalero2311 you like it because of the easy "wooooooos".

Red symbolizes emotions and Black is the ego mind of thoughts that are blind to everything (as all thoughts/beliefs are at surface level in either past/future in duality in the illusion of time, not unity/oneness - love of the infinite NOW of eternity of SOUL).

I'd love to dispute that but I can't

I don't know, there releases are always dividing fans.
IRON MAIDEN IS TIMELESS. period
Get real
Adrian's solos are just mindblowing -WoW !!
Agreed, he has so much emotion in his solos.
Adrian is so fucking beautiful. No words are needed. Period
Especially during their '80's heyday.
PowerSlave/Caught Somewhere in Time/Heaven can Wait/Wasted Years/Hallowed be thy Name still blows my mind today!
It's difficult not to say this is one of the masterpieces of Iron maiden because everybody knows that they have a lot of masterpieces but, wow i couldn't find another adjective like this. Masterpiece
That's exacly what I was thinking about.
Red symbolizes emotions and Black is the ego mind of thoughts that are blind to everything (as all thoughts are at surface level in either past/future in duality in the illusion of time, not unity/oneness - love). The only way of light/truth/spirit is to not think and not give into fear (emotions) and go deep within to activate all that is Within you (White = Light). .
Lucky "us" ... / 52 & stilll rockin'
Janick what an energetic man and what a great spirit 😊

Iron Maiden = Perfection. Long live guys. You are without a doubt THE best.
True brother
No other Song, live played, can beat the mid part of this record with all those great performances of the guitarists. Even Nickos drumwork is a dream!
Adrian's solos are just magical
one word: masterpiece
Two words: *EPIC MASTERPIECE*
It has strong moments but also weak boring moments in my opinion.. The instrumental parts and the gallop towards the end though is absolutely sublime.
Maiden is a "Shamanic band" of infinite Truths and love and light.
Shanti OM . Namaste !
Maiden's "Piece of Mind" album cover from 1983 tells you everything.
Satan (or devil) is nothing more than fancy word-play for he ego thinking mind, as all beliefs and all thoughts are outwardly ( not inwardly), therefore all thoughts and all beliefs are all lies and illusions.

Why the blokes from Iron Maiden have not been knighted by their sovereign I cannot comprehend. 40 years of kicking ass should get them all a sword to the shoulder.
An MBE or OBE at the very least for them all would be well deserved , sportsmen/ women get them for less .
Rumor has it that they tried to knight Bruce twice, but he swiftly dispatched them with fencing skills, thinking he was under attack. There is a song called "Flash of the Blade" detailing the incident on the album Powerslave.

Yeah the "new" Maiden (since Bruce rejoined) has been Terrific. A few "misfires" here and there, but 3/4ths of it has been absolutely Killer.
