    Can you tell me why when I select the eyedropper and hold the key and move it to the green photo, then everything in the video becomes transparent, including the actors! I do not understand why. Raw video from RED KOMODO camera

    hello, question ...when you connect the input on the Merge1, how do you do to pop out the choice of background / foreground or effect mask...thank you

      right mouse click and drag. That will allow you to select which interface to drop.

    Awesome but I don't understand what the clean plate node is actually doing.

      I think he plug the clean plate signal to the clean plate input of the delta keywer to tell it he designe that signal as the plate and have to be remove... Summarising geeky stuff. Is a more accurate way to do it. you can always just drop click green pixel if you mesure and shoot the GS very well.

    using the clean plate method brings my computer down to a crawl (several seconds to process each frame) its a ryzen 5 3600 with a 1660 super so its a decent computer. is this normal? if i just use the delta keyer it works normally

      This is me paying if forward today. (you may have found answer 4 mos ago lol, if not read on) Here is what I discovered...long arduous discovery, that the clean plate makes obscene amounts of calculations every single frame. If you leave it in the default settings it will bring your CPU / GPU down to a crawl. If your scene is relatively static and focus doesn't change (like a talking head scene) you can simply go to clean plate settings and change the *time mode* from Sequence to Hold Frame. That will cure what ails you.

    The key is extremely clean, but the black shirt my subject is wearing is now washed out and pixelated. Any ideas?

    After all, what do clean plates do?

    • @talkingvfx4651
      @talkingvfx4651  Рік тому

      I use The Clean Plate node like pre-keying node used to generate an image of the screen colored green
      or blue to give me smooth out differences in lighting.
      after, i use the output of this node "Clean Plate"
      then i connecte it to input of the Delta Keyer
      so that it can key in fine detail without smothering or clipping the matte.
