That cloning effect doesn't really need a clean plate. Just don't cut out one layer and put it at the bottom. Of course, the rest is still the same. If you're not using a tripod, if the light changes, or if the background is moving, you're running into the same problems.
Wouldn't a mobile green screen help with a moving background? You can use color keying to make the mask and when you're filming at the same location, you still have the same lighting, which makes it look more real. Because it is. The subject wasn't faked into that scenery but was actually there. You also only have to cover the moving parts of the background with a green screen. If there are non-moving parts in the background, you can use a normal mask for that.

do you know how r clean plates used in shots with camera move for rig removal ?
if you clone yourself, on the first layer you don't have to make a mask. and then a clean plate is not necessary too :D
