I'm sure sorry to hear that he is gone. Genuinely nice guy. A little tip, if you want to save a few bucks, call local carpet shops. Most of them have a dumpster full of carpet remnants that they will be happy to give you.

I've always thought of him as the "Bob Ross" of airgunning, what with his ASMR-ish persona. Then I see that Bob Ross mug right there. It all comes together now.
RIP to both Charles and Bob. You're both missed.

Im sorry to see that this Gent passed... I like this idea as a foundation. I live in SE Florida (a lot of rain and humidity). I am going to build this, but with Starboard instead of plywood, to combat rot, and with green exterior carpet to help it blend to the surroundings. Rest in peace to the uploader....

Charles, I think you should have used green outdoor carpet on your new backstop. I would then look like you planted grass on it. Anyway I thank you did a great job on building your new backstop. Have fun plinking in your backyard. Don, Tyler,Texas

Good work! Considering too that it's a backstop and not the target will increase the life. Another good pellet trap is filling a box(any size you want) with rubber mulch. It will stop just about anything you throw at it.

I’d want a light color if possible to contrast black sights. Opens up some possibilities though thanks.

I made the frame you showed in one of your videos but I don't' know what brand of drop cloth you used. I bought a drop cloth and the pellets went right through it. that was at 20 yards.

basiclly you can shoot in your back yard even it's not legal 🤷🏽.. as long you build your back trap, pellet trap look secure and not harm the nebor.. and have to be 50 feet away from school, hospital, 😅 and busy road..🤓.. but you still getting big trouble if your nebor call a cop ..
