    Hai madam greetings i just finish watching 6 types of avayil from various channel but as usual your hit the celing in my country we always have vegetables in stock so i tried immediately super taste ma.i think when come to.receips i am just going follow only yours real genuine ingredients. love.you ma tq.

    I am going to return the compliment by telling you a story. Contrary to all beleif, SAMBHAR was not invented by Tamil. It was made by Maharastrians. Maratha Ruled Tanjore. The Man in charge wanted to prepare typical Maharastrian Dal. He could not get Kokum. So he tried Puzhi and found it tasty. This Dish was first offered to King Sambhaji. Sambhaji ka Ahar (Food for Sambhaji) got twisted to Sambhar.

    Namaskarangal mami one of my favourite dish is aviyal but so far i have not made in home. I thought it is tedious process but after watching your video, i made aviyal for the first time and it came out well. I ate along with Adai. Vow what a wonderful combination!!!! Thank you so much mami

      1piece bitter gourd one sour mango if available or sour butter milk and coconut should be a little more.to copensate bitterness sour sufficient green chillies and coconut be added

    I prepared this for my night dinner as a side dish for Adai on 17th April 2020. It came out excellent and we all liked the recipe. My mom used to prepare this and It was very easy to prepare by myself. But the only difficulty is that cutting all the vegetables will take some time. The preparation part is very easy. Thanks for the recipe.

    Nice presentation & story. I belong to Palakkad. Would like to give you tip that you can pressure cook vegetables with little turmeric & salt without adding water for 1 or two whistles by adding water to cooker & keeping veggies in a vessal.The veggies do not get over cooked. Moreover sour curd only gives it a good taste. Hope you will appreciate feed back

    Actually another story is in kerala there was a big event. Final day the cook added all the remaining vegetables and made this dish just by avikkaradhu. That just boiling and added coconut. I read it somewhere or may be arusuvai Natarajan said or the cook doing cooking specifically for. J.Krishnamurthy.

    For aaloo parotta,if you wish, you can add little dhaniya and jeera powder with potato along chilli powder.

    Dear Madam - thanks for your vdeos. i watch most of your videos and try right away if i have the time since it is very tempting to see how you cook. So peaceful. Got a question about todays' stoday madam!! I thought Mahabhaarta happened in North India and there are no coconut trees in the North and moreover the Coconut oil is used mostly in Kerala and Tamil Nadu as far as I know... how do you explain the logic Madam?? one more question Madam : madam -- aviyal is a sanskrit word?? or it has a different name in Mahabharata story and what is it as per the great epic?

    Aviyal sooooooper! But in Malabar region we add raw mango for slight tangy taste and we don't add jeeragam.just plain coconut and chillies.
