Something I would love to hear explored more is the blurred lines and relationship between Disorganized Attachment, Borderline Personality Disorder and Covert Narcissism. They all present very similarly on the surface and have overlap in symptoms and causes

Behind each of them is a sufferer who should remain the focal point. I’m just quite fascinated with where the subtle differences in internal makeup are and how they might produce different diagnosis’s. Thanks for being a voice in this rhealm of psychology, it’s a sorely neglected niche.
They both have avoidance in their attachment style which is where they are similar. What makes them different is that fearful avoidants have an anxious (fearful) component to their attachment style that we don’t see exhibited in avoidants. They tend to do that behind closed doors in my opinion. Whereas FA will bring the anxiety into the relationship just like an anxious preoccupied person.
@@pickyourno DAs don’t bring anxiety into relationships, they become hyper independent and anxious as opposed to codependent and anxious. FAs can go between anxious hyper independent and codependent. Depending on when you encounter a FA they can appear DA or AP. Hope this makes sense

Are FAs and DAs considered the same or different? I get a bit confused about the 2.
