D 3p Kawasaki you noticed majority of road racers are all very humble people ? Such great racing it always surprises me it’s following isn’t even greater than it already is.
I think they have nothing to prove, they show their bravado on the road circuit. Some of the guys i ride with have all to prove, you see it in their attitude.
Over the years I've had the pleasure of meeting a few riders, mainly bsb, and sometimes I can feel a bit awkward because you don't want to disturb them or intrude but I've met peter hickman on 3 separate occasions now and he's always so approachable and laid back, a real nice guy and always has time for us fans. That's why I've always been a huge fan and I'm looking forward to cheering him on again this year...... (that's if we ever get any racing). 🤞
Peter is such an awesome rider. He’s bought the TT to another level, which I never thought was possible after the McGuiness years. That looks like a lot of gear and worth a fortune, would you trade it for your life though ? That’s the risk Peter takes every time he races for our entertainment. But that’s what legends are made of.
I thought that when Michael dunlop and hutchy recalibrated everyone's perspective of fast after McGuinness appeared to become the old gaurd overnight, and hicky has recalibrated us again the last couple of TTs.
135 is special, I canna see it being bettered, ever, in my day, MIKE THE BIKE 108 and then he was killed crashing 4 wheels into the back of a truck one foggy day, going out for fish n chips!!!
Wow wow wow! An unmissable insight for anyone who follows Motorcycle sport at any level, super impressed with Peter Hickman, always has time for the fans👍
Nice one Pete, great behind the scenes of our fastest ever road racer. Our flights, accommodation and car hire were booked but it doesn't look like we'll get out of New Zealand this year. Air NZ have been awesome and allowed us to transfer to next year. See you 2021. Stay fast.
Nice setup Peter! I remember watching you as a rookie in training doing your first few laps not that long ago. Keep up the good work and stay safe yourself.
What a great little video and message from a truly humble yet immensely competitive and successful rider. Well done Peter and thank you for thinking of others in these difficult times.
Peter do you remember your first WIN at the Ulster Grand Prix.2015 ? you drove the bike up the back path to the pitts and I was standing there with my mobile recording a video and I gave you a thumbs up ...and you gave me a wave back. Well I knew back then you were gonna be great so well done Peter and keeper lit.
Hicky ,you the man !!! Great tour around the workshop ,your passion jumps out and is lovely to see, thanks for posting this vid in these strange time, keep up the brilliant work and look forward to seeing you break more records soon. 👊👊👊👊
7 races 7 wins! Fastest lap on TT fastest race of any !... this is insane! Thanks 🙏🏻 and God bless you brother !.. this is in talks for amongst the greatest ever!... I’m happy for you 👍 👑 🇺🇸 🇦🇱
Thanks Peter, fantastic video and a very interesting commentary that you have given us. Great to see all your past and current racing bikes & gear. We are all treading water at the moment and let’s hope it is all over soon and things can get back to normal. Take care.
Nice Peter! We’re all Jonesin’ to see ya guys out there too! Quite a test of our patience but good things will come back to us who stay humble and grateful. Peace brother and keep in touch! 🙏🏼🏁
We who eat sleep and dream motorcycles really appreciate people like Pete, straight talking no bullshit and very very fast thanks for spending a few minutes showing us around your gaff. This year is a bad year for everyone but in the light of the current situation with regards to the poor souls who have lost there life to this horrid Virus not having any bike racing melts into insignificance. Stay strong we will beat this and life will carry on.
There's more kit in there than most motorcycle dealers, :-). Love the iron Maiden connection. Looks like you have a great team behind you, all the best to you all.
That was epic going on you tube and watching you take all those races at Ulster was hoping there will be a heap of those maps for sale like the one at the start...John McGuiness motor home is huge and 8.9 liter motor for a moment I thought he was visiting keep us posted on when you will be racing again
Great video still got a signed picture of you on my garage wall of you going over the mountain at cadwell park on your R1 had that a few years now 🇬🇧👍🏻
Thanks Pete, nice to see video away from the racing I'm going to look on eBay to see if I can help you make some space. Stay safe and hope to see you at Donnington or Oulton Park soon.
Hope you got BIG LOCKS on that gaff!!! I just had my ktms stolen feeling very low at the moment. All the very best for whenever you get goin, them machines look great 👊✊✊💨👍
sorry, Andy, that's low stuff, locks are worth zilch now, every lowlife has a battery-powered cut off wheel, we put padlocks on the chain where those cut off wheels will not fit, slows the bastards down
Great insight video peter, first met you at the nec bike show years ago when you rode the hawk kawasaki in bsb, you chatted to me and my son for a while, and i must admit that I thought that you would struggle in bsb, maybe I was right ,but you hadn't discovered road racing then, seems to be your niche area,i feel sorry for you and all the teams tracks fans and other riders ,but like you said ,your all in the same boat,.good luck in the future ,. cheers.
I wish I would had bought the trooper helmet , it wouldn't match my eslick 675r though . Good luck Peter , sucks everything is being delayed I was at daytona and they delayed it till October.
Good walkaround and quite a beautiful collection of bikes, actually didn't know Peter had an eBay store, so I have ordered myself some of the 135mph lap record gear! :D
Thanks Peter been following your racing for a long time I am interested in the merchandise and wouldn’t mind a little map at the TT not that computer savvy but I am interested in one type of merchandise you have I’m looking for some new gloves I like to hear of anything you have. Stay fast be safe and good luck on your upcoming races after the world comes down low bit and back On Track
Thank you Peter. Massive respect for all the TT riders, hope to see you all on track again soon. All the best from Oregon in the USA!
Hicky you seem like such a humble good dude. All the best to you and yours.
D 3p Kawasaki you noticed majority of road racers are all very humble people ? Such great racing it always surprises me it’s following isn’t even greater than it already is.
He is, I saw him at the Ulster grand prix in the paddock and he had time for everyone, even gave his cap to a young lad and made his day!
I think they have nothing to prove, they show their bravado on the road circuit. Some of the guys i ride with have all to prove, you see it in their attitude.
He is a genuine guy, met him a few times, always time for the fans 👍🏁
Over the years I've had the pleasure of meeting a few riders, mainly bsb, and sometimes I can feel a bit awkward because you don't want to disturb them or intrude but I've met peter hickman on 3 separate occasions now and he's always so approachable and laid back, a real nice guy and always has time for us fans. 100% agree with Barry's comment here. Peter is a genuine decent lad and I wish him well.
Just as comfortable chatting about his racing life as breaking records on track .
Genuinely warm very likeable guy .
Stay safe Peter 👍
You're an amazing talent, Pete - thanks for letting us get a glance at all your cool kit! Very cool!
Brilliant, if we can’t see the racing let’s have some chat from the Gladiators.
All the best Peter and all the riders of the TT
I really like this guy. Always smiling before the race

Wow wow wow! An unmissable insight for anyone who follows Motorcycle sport at any level, super impressed with Peter Hickman, always has time for the fans👍
It's a sad year especially when you have to wait another year until you see the hicky break another record!!! Roll on 2021
