It doesn't have the loop option where I can let it save only the last like 5 minutes of my recording, right? I mean the feature that people use when they are fishing and stuff.
I hear a lot of bad things of this action camera and great things as well. I was debating whether or not to get it and get the insta 360x3 which I heard it is far superior in many aspects to the gopromax. But one of the reasons I didn't want to invest in the insta x3 is that the lenses, if they get scratches or damage you have to send it for repairs, in areas where the gopromax has replacements available and there is no need to send your camera and get charged over 100 bucks just to get it fixed. I think that despite being almost 4 years since it came out it is still pricey , but I got a 100 bucks off on B buy at open box excellent condition. Otherwise you have to pay 399 plus tax if you get it brand new. I see a lot of videos of this gopro max and there may be better options I had to give this a chance without spending too much money.
I acquired a new to me GoPro Fusion..the predecessor to the max.. I have hero 4 hero 7 and hero 5 session.. I have GoPro accessories galore.. I realize the Max has its problems.. I will see how I get along with the Fusion.. if I pick up the editing.. then I will look for a used Max..

Anyone please help, brand new GoPro got delivered yesterday and normal GoPro mode is fine, but if I do a 360 video then upload it to play it, it's all blocky and flickering shadows etc.. I've rang go pro support and they told me to manually do a firmware update off the website.. did that and still the same issue.. any help whatsoever would he appreciated.. I really don't want to return it 😔

Have you came across the problem that your 360 videos constantly pan? When editing I notice the camera constantly pans to the right making it near impossible to edit
That’s a good question! For me, I’ve found that if it’s set to on, it could filter out certain frequencies in the audio when there is no wind. If it’s set on auto, then it will only do it when there is wind and then I don’t have to worry about my audio being unnecessarily filtered. It’s just a preference.
Heyyyyy Unless software is extremely optimized, the "folding fingers" on the Gopro Max 2 could be it's downfall (when it comes to stitching). If one studies the configuration of the insta360 one x2 you'd notice that they've got a thread on SCREW mounting section, which is essential if one is capturing 360 footage on the go: i.e on a motorcycle, atv, bike or car at a certain speed. Screwing on a camera directly to a mount, as opposed to screwing on a camera to an adapter then a mount would eradicate any wind turbulence one normally finds hence creating better stitching footage all around.

You just need to have right adapter, not the one which is tilted a little, it must be straight.. And then you dont affect stitching line
