Great video, Ron! Anyone else get anxious when Ron is on the balcony with the selfie stick and the GoPro is suspended over the edge of the balcony....or is that just me?! 🤣🤣🤣
Cool video. I have a question about a setting. We attached a Max to the back of an ATV with the camera facing forward, facing north for example. When we make a turn to the west, the camera still shows facing north, so it now Is a side view instead of facing the front. is there a way to lock the view so it is always facing the front of the ATV and not have to scroll the video in the editor? Hope this makes sense, thanx for the info.
Hey there, thanks for the question. Well you can toggle on world lock. but that said, i'd still recommend to input those keyframes to make your animation more precise. esp if you're shredding on the ATV

For sure! 2 ways you can do it! 1. Choose the LINEAR digital lens if you do not want your footage to look "distorted". 2. If you captured in WIDE, you may correct the lens in post-production with premier pro, FXP etc....
hi im just wanna ask about my problem in my hero max video.its very poor quality after uploading in youtube. i used filmora 9 for editing video.i tried to not edit the video but same poor quality in youtube.can you tell me what should i do get a better quality.thanks in advance
What Grip are you using and how comes it is invisible on the photos when you do selfie how comes selfie stick goes invisible??? Would it work on Gopro 10?? Do I have to set up some kind of settings on my gopro 10 to disappear the selfie stick?
In this video I was using the GoPro Max Grip. The reason why the self stick becomes 'invisible' is because the GoPro MAX captures in spherical 360, & when mounted right (like I did in the video), the GoPro MAX stitches the selfie stick out itself! The GoPro HERO10 however, cannot recreate the 'invisible selfie stick' effect, as it does not capture 360.
Hey Ron - REALLY GREAT VIDEO! I will go ahead and subscribe b/cause you are so funny, have great energy, POV, and such clear explanations! Way to go in creating content I love!! Thanks Bro!! Have a great 2024! My new GoPro Max I got for Christmas is a town away from me now as of 12/31 @ 7:21pm... great question dude! well, the simple answer to that is to ask yourself what do you want? If you intend to shoot 360/creative-type content - GoPro MAX is your answer. If you intend to shoot great underwater/Super slo-mo/Star lapse content - HERO9! Personally, I cannot go on any trip without BOTH my HERO9 & MAX! both is simply amazing.
now that is unique and I am so glad you are the one to do it hahahaaha that laugh is awesome. Over the edge of building shot gets me dizzy even though I know you are safe haha. I wonder if you wouldn't mind answering a question with your point of view. I'll leave it here for you: I basically run every day, trail running and I have been running with a little hand grip which is okay for filming but interferes a lot with my running (cannot move one of my arms for momentum). I would like to have the ability to film myself running past the camera (mounted somewhere off my body) and also have POV shots. I will be in rough terrain. My thoughts so far have been a gorilla pod and head strap but then I hear the gorilla pod becomes weak after about a year of use which doesn't sound like something I want to buy haha.
Hey josh!! Thanks for tuning in & the question! For trail running, you’d get the most stable (& least intrusive) POV from the chest harness. However the POV isn’t amazing. I’d prefer the bite-mount or head strap. I’d ask you instead, what’s your purpose of capturing all the run? Memories? Social media? If it’s to produce a short edit, you wouldn’t need to capture the entire run. So get a couple of shots here & there, then go on to enjoy your run! Hope that helps! 😁
@@AdventuresofRon Thanks for the reply Ron yeeehaaa! Love your ideas. They are more short edits / highlights. Do you know if it is still easy to mouth breathe using the bite mount? You've been very helpful mate.
