I love it. You got me keyed in. Yes I am the proud owner of a true Nine- Six SS DCM in color. 24s coming soon , but I hope I don't have to lift or cut to fit. I've had three bubbles in the past that were all Caprices. Now it's the 96 Impala and 93 Roadmaster Wagon. Both solid.
*My first car was a 96 Caprice SS, I had it two tones (Blue & Silver "Cowboy" colors) and had spinners on it, this was back in 02'! lol But Caprice and Impalas will always be classic to me!* But a chocolate woman who has car knowledge... I'm in love lol and a new sub!

My parents had a black cherry 1995 model which had a base cost of 23,940.00. These were also available in 1996 with the Muncie 5 speed Manual option with only 2 made.
I think a small correction: my 96 LT4 vette is a 4 bolt main, alum. heads,and all of these came with a zf 6 speed and dana 44 axle. There were about 6k made including 1000 Grand sports . Enjoyed your informative video.

1:46 That is incorrect. LT1 Corvette came with a 4-bolt main block. There were a few of the later production cars that came with a 2-bolt main but majority had 4-bolt. 2:00 All Corvette, Camaro/Firebird and Impalla had the 4L60E Transmission.

Taneka Roberts Because that legend only remains a legend as is. Rims take away the value and the power and ruins your suspension so I want to keep all of that by not doing the rims you know. Long as it runs like a bat out of hell I’m cool. Besides it’s 96 impala not a 94 or 95 so it really speaks for itself 😉
gotta go with the 96. with the 160 on the dash and floor shifter. nice wheels and best way to keep these cars as MUSCLE AS CAN BE and AS STOCK BODY AS CAN BE. nice vid.
That's correct. The Roadmaster and Fleetwood had LT1 350 5.7 Amazing how auto manufacturers is allowed to sell you the same car by updating minor details to front end body and fender, change name, badging and multiport tuning slick paint and demand additional monies.
Dig the channel but you were partially right on some info the impala lt1 is 2bolt main cast iron heads, the vette is 4bolt with aluminum, the vette got all the better goodies. Vette Lt1 is 300hp and impala ss is 260hp. And the auto trans in a Corvette is a 4l60e also but it is stronger than the non vette 4l60e. Again love the channel

They're so overpriced. I'd settle for a Caprice or Roadmaster but would really rather have the Fleetwood.

Only LT1 came with the 4 bolt main was the 355, in the corvettes (y body). The B, D and F bodies were all 2 bolt mains.
