@@tedquartana5099 the N-line is definitely not a waste of money. I test drove all the trim levels and the N-line is way more fun to drive than the rest of them (except the N of course) and actually has passing power, plus Bose speakers n stuff
I just bought one a month ago. I wanted something that was a little sporty but not necessarily a sports car. I think the N Line fits exactly that. I don't drive fast, but it picks up when I need it to. It's got a Bose sound system by default so inside the car sounds great, while the outside sounds aren't pissing off my neighbors.
I got mine 4 months ago and agree. I usually drive it with average throttle but has the power when needed. The 2.0 engine I had on the 24 Kona SEL on the other hand, is way too slow and has zero passing power
@@porfiriato84 it has been out for a while now, nothing is new with it. If you buy used maybe have a technician check it out. If you buy new I would worry about it. Just maintain the maintenance and don’t race it all the time.

So i bought mine yesterday and im still confused on the gas. My manual doesnt say ANYTHING on what type of gas to use and I get mixed reviews online on regular or premium. Anybody that has an answer? Aren't turbo engines suppose to run on premium?
Some modern turbo cars can run on regular but the advertised HP will be lower. Check the gas cap or lid, maybe they have printed the recommended octane grade.
Great review Anthony. That is a great deal for a small sporty sedan. Personally I'd have to go with the Sonata N line and more power 😁 What is on the passenger side of the console? Is that a grab bar or? For sure I'd choose this over the Civic despite the gas mileage. We had some weather today. It rained so hard and the wind was howling and the temp dropped from 112 down to 76 and had loads of thunder. Hopefully the rain put out the wildfires. I noticed that you guys were having some weather on your side also. Hope all is well and that you did not get too much rain. Take care Anthony and happy Sunday.
@@jameswalsh6131 thanks James, I would go Sonata, more power, feature and it looks a little more sporty. Yeah they are trying to make it look like a Corvette without the full wall and a grab handle 😂. That’s good the weather dropped and hopefully the rain puts all of the wildfires out. I watched a few videos of those fires and it’s sad as it’s so hard to stop them. With that hot temperature it makes it worse. It’s been raining almost everyday for months now, some parts have been flooding and last week my Navigator told me the roads are under water. I’m going again this week to some of those dealerships hopefully everything is ok with them. This year has been a lot harder with rain and hard winds in some areas but times are changing. Stay safe and Happy Sunday James
owned it prior to my Elantra N the elantra much quicker better handling & lighter you won't notice the 5 hp i put k & n intake & resonator delete & i have more hp & torque now anyway also owned a k5 gt with the 2.5 it was a dog buy the Elantra N
In Canada the Full N costs almost 12 to 14 thousand more then the N-Line! HUGE price difference!
That is, thanks for sharing the info
its worth it just buy the base model or the N the nline a waste of $
yepp, that's the reason I didn't go all the way for the N. That and the fact that the N Line is the better everyday/commuter car.

Yeah sadly here it's not even close. I'd love an N, but the price difference here is crazy.

Are there any issues with the dry DCT?

Regular is what it calls for. Anything high is not needed

AWD option would have been nice.
It would be awesome
In Canada the seats are full leather.

You can't get a civic si in auto, unless you get the Integra which is CVT and 6k more! Throw in great warranty, easy decision!
@@supastr33t I didn’t say you can however the stick is always more fun
@@HawkeyeRides I didn't say that you said, just sharing what I learned, keep up the good work!
@supastr33t thanks
I would go Si all day but the new Elantra is fun
