I made it to the Naches trail sign. Right after the Pacific trail sign. Was getting late and did not know the trail so I turned around there. Glad I did after seeing you guys get lost. Great video . thank you.
@18:15 Be mindful of standing in the "snap" zone. If the snatch block anchor snaps or something, Boo could catch a nasty whip to the legs. A lot of energy in the lines but yall did a great job yanking him right on out. I'm not use to the slick mud, yet, I can not wait to get back up that way. One other thing yall will figure out, sometimes lockers can get ya in even stickier situations. An open diff has that one wheel that can keep you "tracking straight. Love the content...beautiful trail
Looking for some like minded sick off roaders people. Wife and I just moved to WA cause of COVID crap. Now we want to enjoy the outdoors in our JKU. Hit us up, Let's Ride
@@GoatOffroad next summer I'm trying to plan a trip from Wyoming to Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah Colorado and back to Wyoming . I have another friend that lives in Washington too and he wants to hit the Rubicon Trail in California.
If I ever get my Jeep up to Washington (my family lives in Longview/Kelso) you will have to show me some trails. The mud always makes things interesting. I bought my first Jeep in WA, and after a few weeks of owning it, I put a 3" lift on it and some 30" tires. I couldn't make it up this hill no matter how hard I tried. I just tore it up trying. Then I bought a locker for the rear, and after installing it, I made it right up the very first try! I had that Jeep for 5 years before I got my current one. Both are good little Jeeps!
Kallam Kruse - Lockers are the way to go! We will get them soon. Love to show you around the PNW! It’s most beautiful late Spring and all summer. Fall colors are beautiful here too. (I like warmer weather myself! 😁)
@@GoatOffroad yeah i lived there until i was 10 and then after high school for a while. Summer is the time to be there.... the only time it doesn't rain. :)
@@GoatOffroad Time for you to do your exploring on the Eastern side then. lol There are plenty of places over there to cross off a bucket list as well. Hit up Moses Lake for a start. :) Just make sure you have your chains for crossing over the mountains when the snow drops.
Hey! So glad you’re interested in getting off-road! It’s so much fun!! So that’s a tough question without more info- is the taco lifted? What kind of tires? Do you want to just see the sights in the mountains like in Greenwater; that’s where I started 😄 If you have a lift (even a small one), good tires and want to do off-camber obstacles- go to Tahuya. I started there as well!!! Find someone who is familiar with the area/park would be a good idea so you don’t get yourself on a trail that you shouldn’t be on. And #1 rule is never go alone!!! Get some recovery gear so you can rescue yourself; a winch, snatch block and a tree saver are the best. Traction boards at a minimum. Have fun and Thank You for watching!!
I was just praying the lines didn't snap and hit someone!! Always use a heavy rag or something to lay across the winch line so if it snaps the weight of the towel will make it go to the ground! And it seems they DID leave you behind in the end!!! LOL
Wow. What a beautiful trail! You're buggy did so great! Time to get some rear bumper armor! Lol. I loved seeing all the other rigs too. Pretty cool watching everyone rescue the TJ. Too bad they ripped that suckers light off haha 🤪. Great video! Thanks for the love ❤️❤️❤️
Project Dan H - we can’t believe what our little XJ can do! 🤪🤣 Yes, we’re going to weld something together to put as a rear bumper/quarter panel slider. It’ll need to protect the Zmoon Lights too. The people on the trail came together to rescue the TJ! Such awesome people! 💙 Always happy to send love your way!!! ❤️🐞
I’ve done this trail on my 4Runner after a down pour, thankful it wasn’t this muddy cause it would properly got stuck with my KO2. Got to try this again this summer 2020!
That lite mount was strong. It got the jeep up and out of hole. I know the cable was attached to the frame and the cable was up against the lite mount.
14:15 - 19:30 was quite the highlight of the trip!! 🤣🤦♀️🤣
super video, very comforting with all the help &knowledge!!!!! THanks!!

We’d like to get a winch line buffer; something to keep the line from covering distance should it snap.
So glad you’re enjoying the videos!! ❤️🐞
who's here from Matt's off road recovery? Sup Bug!
Jaxon1127 - hey! Welcome!! 😄
Love Matt and his yellow XJ!! ❤️🐞

🤣🤣 then you’ve come to the right spot! 🤣🤣
Wow. I drove that trail 25 years ago in a stock 1973 Jeep. Your video of the trip brings back vivid memories. Thank you!
@11:52..."oh there are trees everywhere"....I love it ...THAT is how you adventure hahahaha
Naches is probably our favorite trail!
Realy want to get to natchees

@6:34, we call that a Moab bump.

In Virginia we can't get as lost as you guys out west. Just remember if you don't really care where you are you will never be lost. OMB
10k jeep. Lockers. 3k wheels and tires. 350 for a winch???? F that!
My harbor freight 8k winch saved my TJ time and time again. Best offroad purchase ever!
The winch was on the Jeep when we bought it and it has never failed us. We’ve done some amazing off-road recoveries with that thing 😃

John Beal - Thank You for watching! 🥰
Where did you eventually pop out? 410 on the Naches side or over by Greenwater?
Tom Taylor - we ran into someone, followed him out, and ended up on the Greenwater side of the mountains. Can’t wait to go back!
Project Dan for the WIN! These trails look so fun! Wish we had wheeling like that out here
D&E In The Garage - Love Dan! Trying to get him and his family to come wheelin with us in the PNW/Cascade Mtns! You two could road trip!!! 🤣
