Since my first video on the ladders in April 2020, the most common question is..."Where do I get one?" The US distributor for these ladders is neladders.com/
Great vid! Fantastic ladders, we carry all sizes at all times on the truck. It's always the best to have a ladder that's a little shorter than the finished hedge height. It's a lot more comfortable and efficient!
Brad , bearing in mind that the tallest part of the bush is obstructing a window , if it were my property I’d probably take out the two highest parts . This would let in more light and make it easier for cutting . I do however appreciate that the owner prefers the bush the way it is and at the end of the day it’s completely their choice . Great video as usual .
Awesome ladder man! I had to quit doing yard work commercially years ago, gave me real bad sciatica on my left side. Still deal with it to this day. Be careful out there!
Game changer! I do not have one as nice as yours but have a smaller fiberglass orchard ladder. Been able to get it in the tree so far that I am almost standing out of the center of the tree/shrub haha. Went four years before invested in one should have not waited so long. Nice ladder.
Out of curiosity, why did you opt for a stand on mower vs a riding zero turn? Is there an advantage or is it just a preference? I know you can purchase riders with the same motor/deck combo.
I like smaller yards (this isn't a good example) with VERY narrow side yards, and standers are shorter front to back so handle those better. There is no blind spot behind you, they are safer on ponds (which I mow a few of for an HOA)...well, they FEEL safer on ponds, so maybe just placebo. I also have found I prefer standing to sitting and seems to be quicker to get on/off the mower.
Copper Creek Cuts Lawn Care thanks for the reply. I’ve seemed to find about the same answers among all of you all UA-cam lawn guys. I only do lawn work on the side. Usually on weekends. I’ve also heard standing is better on your back.
To add to that. I guess both have pros and cons it’s more of what fits your need. 👍🏻 I would like to eventually grow into a full on company and I think in my case it would be best to have a 36” stand on and 52” or bigger rider. I have some yards that are 2-3 acres.
The window behind the hedges, is it a functioning window or fake? I ask because I didn't know if it would be worth it to lower the hedges a little to allow more light in and to see more out.
Informative as always Bud. I lost count around 7 of how many times you touched your face!! It was nice knowing you Bud!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!! #broinlawns

If you are staying put at that place for a long time, yes, it would be worth it in my eyes. Probably the cheapest route is a SUPER long manual pole saw, but that would be a ton more physical effort and time.
Bahahhahaha - funniest video, yet. Great job! Cool ladder, too. I thought the prices I saw were reasonable for a unique commercial quality ladder like that.
Have you ever seen an old wooden ladder like that? The way they could bend the wood is crazy. If anyone is interested they are sometimes called orchard ladders.
@@CopperCreekCuts The design varies but they all have the wide base, narrow towards the top and have the one leg or back support type setup. We had one at one time or it may have been at my Grandpa's. The wooden ones are heavy so that aluminum style you've got is great.
Have you tried using a sweatproof sunblock on your face, neck and head? It really does make a difference on your skin. Literally, if I don't use it before going out in sunny weather, I feel the heat instantly.
The one I use is light feeling on the skin, does not run into eyes and is not repulsive smelling. I use Walgreens SPF 50 Sport. It is in a blue tube. Your skin needs to be dry when you apply or reapply.
Your time stamps are hilarious!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Stay cool, stay safe!!! Do you work by yourself? Maybe a little bit of extra hands my help. Anyways, great video!
I have looked at those ladders at GIE. Their display models always seem to have a sold sign on them. They are expensive but if they help get the job done quicker and safer, then its justified. A one man operation, like yourself, needs all the help he can get. The main problem I find is the size. I guess you can figure the cost of that tool into the pricing of the work. I really want to keep my feet on the ground.
Impossible to answer without knowing what stores are near you. That being said, just browse the big boxes nearby and make sure there is a decent return policy.
🤣🤣 that fishing rod-style trimmer support. Brother, I'm worried about you in this one 😂 stay OVERhydrated. I had kind of a day like that today ( and for the last month and half ). I actually had to stop back at the house for a dinner break under the a/c ( the old a/c in the old truck wasn't quite cutting it today ) .....now it's time to throw on a set of dry work clothes and get back at it for about another hour 🥵🥵🥵
Skratch Labs has a great electrolyte replacement drink mix I swear by for long workouts in HHH weather. I sweat like the legendary pig. You guys who do this kind of work in that kind of weather would do well to follow what athletes do. Sweet tea would not be a good choice. You know that ladder's bent, right?
You were definitely a bit incoherent in this one! Hope you survived and that we'll see another video. Otherwise, we might need access to your dental records to identify your body when they find you under the bushes...
maybe don't wear long shirt and pants man. im sure people will understand that its way too damn hot out for long clothes. thats just a death sentence. i get its professinal but im sure that your customers would understand

Can you stop doing so many sponsored videos? It takes away for the content most of us subbed for. I get you're trying to make money but i think your going to kill your channel in the process.
I can appreciate your concern, but sponsored videos don't actually affect the content you subbed for. People with overgrown lawns aren't calling me any less or more based on how many videos I do showing products. One does not affect the other. If I didn't have a video showcasing a product it would just be a business topic to discuss, not another overgrown lawn. I only have so many of those, so they are doled out judiciously and with other videos inbetween. Also, Hasegawa didn't pay me anything to show their products. They gave me the ladders at no charge, obviously, but I didn't make money from them.

@Cairo Mitchell Definitely, been using flixzone for since november myself :D

I keep my boots and hat in the freezer so I get a good half hour of cool when I take them out.

Will the owner let you cut the hedge back about 18” away from the house? Or is it a deterrent?
I don't know if I would want to tackle that job! :D
I'd love to try a ladder like that. I don't even know where to get on up here. Definitely have a few jobs I think it would help me with.
@vegeta420z I know, but I'm Canadian so its a bit harder for me to buy.

When you're looking they are often called orchard ladders. Old ones are wood, heavy but they do the same thing.
I hope you were able to get more info! They are very neat tools. Be sure and follow up with your experience if it went anywhere.
Would you recommend this ladder for homeowners who have a couple palm trees they need to trim up every few months, or do you have another suggestion?
