My review of the Henchman 10ft tripod ladders. In this video we test out our new fully adjustable Hench man tripod ladder while hedge cutting with our Stihl long reach hedge cutters. They are available in 6ft, 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, 14ft and 16ft sizes. You can find out more about Henchman ladders here www.henchman.co.uk/
I’m impressed with these ladders 🪜 Jimmy, nice and sturdy and safe which is what you want ,poor Paul having to finish the job off again.🤣,another great review as always mate keep up your fantastic work.👍👍
Yes they really do. Having three adjustable legs they don't rock. The clawed feet dig in to soft surfaces and the rubber feet grip hard surfaces. I wish we had got them sooner 👍
Jimmy - love my Henchman. Got a 14 footer. So stable up top. Light to carry around too. Makes cutting my conifers a breeze. Now have been asked to help put up Christmas lights in places only God could reach!!!!!!!!
It has really been an amazing year for me. Things have just got better and better. Thanks for all your support with You Tube, I really appreciate it. Jimmy 👍
A podium ladder has to be better than this… no twisting and more reach to sides and even in front. Widening legs keep this farther away from walls than normal… would rather have fold out stabilizers. Thx for the video test and info!
Thanks for the feedback, I will have to take a look at those podium ladders. I can say this though, we've had the tripods for quite a while and they are still going strong 👍
@@turfcareblog My dad died when i was 4 after a badly constructed scaffold collapsed. I guess if you're cutting high hedges a lot this will save a lot of effort, it's no bigger than my ladder though. I can't see how this company justifies the price.
That is so very sad to hear about your dad. My dad passed away 4 years ago and I have struggled since. Every purchase I make is carefully considered in terms of value, and also safety. These ladders have made my working day better, safer and more productive. Sending love, Jimmy 👍

He's the one that does all the hard work.
That hedge is about 40 metres long and he did it all in just over an hour.
Felix cleaned it up mind 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Jimmy looks a nice ladder they do feel safer than a normal step ladder Have a good weekend

They are a great bit of kit, and anyone with a set of ladders or a van is a great asset to the community 😀
Can't beat a henchman 👍. Seems its Christmas everyday with you at the moment. 😁🎄🎄

The tripod ladders really are a game changer - Great video 👍
I can't believe I didn't start using them sooner.
Thanks for watching,
Jimmy 👍
Concise video, thanks jimmy
Quick question, are they easy to transport on a van rack.. Would they just need the usual ladder clamps as a usual ladder?
Yeah, they are as light as a feather.
Just normal ladder stays will hold them in place 👍
I've a big hedge cutting the top is always the struggle I'll deffo be looking into 1 these
They are great bits of kit. Our set is stored outside and used every week since this video and still going strong
Good gear that. Safety first is always the best policy 👍
Cracking ladders and mega safe.
Thanks for watching,
Jimmy 👍
Hi. Just wondered if the ladders fit in the back of your van or if they go on a roof rack. Cheers
Hi mate, I've got a 10ft tipper trailer and they just about fit in there.
I would say they would be better off on top of your van.
Great video Jimmy. 👍
Cheers mate, I really appreciate you watching.
All the best,
Jimmy 👍
Brilliant ladders 👍
Ye they're great, we have a couple of sets.. can't beat them for hedgecutting
They are spot on mate, well worth the money 👍
Nice ladder Jimmy. Get on Micks stream tomorrow.
They are brilliant mate and I will be on there tomorrow.
I was on there last week as well.
If I'm not working then I'm on it 👍
Excellent Video.
Thank you, very kind 👍
Very impressive ladder that
It is a fantastic bit of kit.
I forgot to mention how light they are as well. I can pick them up with one hand 👍
I was surprised when you unwrapped them, to find they were ... Ladders
Me too, amazing 👏

What is a podium ladder?
£300 for a ladder!!!!
£429 Inc VAT for that particular model but I reckon with the time they have saved us we can save almost a day a week when cutting high hedges.
Can’t put a price on staying safe, well you can £300 but so many accidents happen at heights
