Drone Theory: Part 2- Frame assembly and PDB soldering

- Welcome back to drone theory! In this episode, we get right into it and start building the quadcopter! We assemble the frame, and solder the power distribution board.
Stay tuned for the next episode where we solder the ESCs to the motors, install FPV gear, and move forward!

@@samsurf5967 go to getfpv and search 5" frame! You can check youtube for the type of frames you find to see the reviews as most all have a video review done on them!

@@aryanrawat8475 this quad is obsolete. Now quads use 4 in one ESCs and the flight controller now also has the function of a PDB. also this quad wouldn't fly well at all for today's standards

I love the way you explained the system in part 1. I suggest to start an intro to hobby electronics channel, you're style of teaching is awesome and too the point. Much better than those dry electronics learning here.

Great tutorials! Would be great if you could give an in-depth discussion on flight controllers. I’m from fixed wing rc, so I understand the motors and esc, rx stuff. But flight controllers, and all the parameters that need to be put in is overwhelming. Also, the differant brand names and sizes of them.

Been a while but part 3 would be clutch.
You let a lot of people down by not doing the 3rd video; you need to 'complete the play' which will speak volumes to your devotion to your 8K subscribers! If the video is shot; post it!
Dont forget to place a cut piece of MU Metal, wrapped in electrical tape between the PDB and the FC. Cut down on magnetic interference and other electrical noises.
Time to show how you select a radio like Taranis QX7 , then set it up for XM+ receiver, then to Bind it to the radio. Finally - Showing how you program the radio buttons to Pre-Arm and ARM it for take off !!!! I may do it if ya don't!
