Idc what anyone says, Stephen Baldwin and Luke Perry REALLY brought those two to life on screen. I feel like they really captured how Lane and Tuff were and it’s crazy they didn’t get the recognition they deserved with helping to make this story. Still watch this movie and tear up every time in the last 10 minutes. Not many movies do that for me.
That was one of the best tear-jerker movie endings ever - but it's made infinitely better by the fact that Tuff's extra ride for Lane wasn't something made up by a screenwriter - it really happened.
After we lost Luke, I played this movie in my barbershop in honor of Luke and when we got to this scene of him waving, all of us in that shop had to take a moment to gather ourselves together. I can't imagine what his loved ones must feel like when watching this. My condolences to his family and friends...
First time I watched this, it was in a birthing compartment on the USS Anzio. When Lane got killed, jokes abounded...but when this scene rolled, all I heard was a lotta throat clearing and sniffs.....tough to do with that crowd.
Tuff and lane that's what rodeo is all about,,,, trying to get to the top by staying on that damn bull,,, my God we still miss you lane and we will for ever

I still watch it once or twice a year. This scene makes me get pumped/sad/super exited. This movie is a movie I’ll keep watching for as long as I live
What makes it sadder is knowing that luke and lane were born one day apart in real life.. losing luke was like losing lane all over again... rip luke.. you're loved
I get chills everytime I watch 8 seconds or any clip on you tube about Lane. I sure miss my days when I rode. Lane was definitely the best. R.I.P. cowboy!!!
this movie...this real life cowboys story cut into my deepest soul. what a dam Good' Ol boy, w/ so much heart , n spirit!.. Lane.. your still the greatest ever!
Unbelievably well done. Some movies can't capture the heart of a true story. This does in every way. It shows Lanes flaws in love, his love for rodeo. 8 seconds of love best movie.
have been to many rodeo, and have seen Tuff and Lane ride before, and this was a AWESOME way for Tuff to go out. I guess it is OK to admit tears flow when you watch this.
This movie makes me tear up every time... This part especially.. It's Tuff as Hell. I've always been a Metal head and My my kids mom was a farm girl that barrel raced. She passed in 2006 at 22 years old. This was our movie... They're both flying high right now.🤘❤️😢❤️🤘
R.I.P Luke, an amazing man, you will missed deeply and was very loved, my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends. 😭💔, God has another angel
No matter how many times I see this movie I still cry! For Lane losing his life so young and parents and siblings losing a son and brother! Kelly a husband and Tuff and others losing a good friend! And the rodeo world lost a good talent! So sad! Luke Perry and all involved with the movie did a great job and Luke was a good actor and now I feel the same for his family and friends! Gone way too soon! RIP all
I remember watching this movie as a kid. I never understood it then. I watched it for the first time again now as an adult and WOW, this scene just hits you. Also never knew it was a real story until I grew up and found out. Good movie
RIP Lane Frost and Luke Perry. I remember how alot of people didn't want him in the role, but he did Lane proud in most people's eyes. And Tuff Hedman is a great man, ive had the honor to meet him in person a time or 2.
What makes this scene even more special is that the real Tuff actually did some of the riding. Stephen came out of the chute but after the buzzer, the real Tuff came out on a different bull. He basically got to ride for Lane all over again. The problem is that it resulted in a blooper lol. Regardless it’s a beautiful scene that still gets to me and all parties involved were outstanding. R.I.P. Lane and Luke!
He was one my idols growing up in the early 2000’s when I rode bulls as a teenager in Northern New Mexico. Him and Tuff Hedeman were real men and real cowboys
