Hardest training camp: 36 hours replicating a stage race

- 8 days of training straight in BWR AZ to finish off my early season training camp in Tucson. Being a privateer requires a lot of off the bike attention, so if you want to be fit when race season comes, that means focusing a lot on the bike when you have time!
I have worked with my coach since I was 14 and it is always fun to build out weeks like this and learn more about how we can get fast.
Major props to Avery for filming and editing this, Andy Temkin for helping us with a driver multiple days and to Fritz for sacrificing his Saturday to drive Avery and Willie around and film the shootout! These productions wouldn't be possible without everyone behind the camera watching me (Alexey) suffer!

Documenting the journey without hindering the flow is difficult. Much appreciate the opportunity to see inside the training process and be along for the journey. Keep it up, I'm sure you will find a rhythm and way to make it work. Probably more drone footage and a 360 camera for Alexey.
Maybe even an fpv drone would be easier then running or chasing Alexey))

How do you earn a living with sponsors and travel expenses?
A lot of my salary is from sponsor contracts that run year to year. Most often I pay my travel out of this budget as well. Avery and I have a small 'content' budget thanks to some of my sponsors including ENVE, PEARL iZUMi, Factor and others that helps with Avery's travel and equipment. Avery works with me and also free lances for other companies.
