Love that you did your own hair while pregnant ❤️🙌🏽 Women are so dope and thank you for this, it was so informative
Rubi B ♥️♥️♥️🥰
I braid my own hair and never had an understanding of the knotless box braids until I saw your video. You did a good and close demonstration of how it's done. I will be trying the knotless box braids on my hair next. I really enjoyed your video. Keep up the good work!
That’s awesome!! I hope they come out how you want!
No doubt ma'am
I've watched a bunch of videos I couldn't get it right
I'm getting mine done this week
With this quarantine going on I might take a stab at it.
Looks lovely by the way!
QueenOfNice do it!! ♥️
Your natural hair is so healthy!
I like that you were preggers when you did your hair, but the baby is cooing during the voice over 🤗
XeniasWorld 🥰🥰
Thank you so much for the "index finger, thumb" trick for feeding in. I've tried other techniques but this is by far the best technique. You just inspired me to do my own knotless braids. 🤩🤩
The best knotless braids tutorial I have seen, I’m wanting to do mine before vacation and this helped so much
Anaia Muhammad thank you! I hope you have a dope vacation! ♥️
Perfect and Simple without all of the unnecessary extra talking and confusion. Thanks for an awesome video.
Lady Autumn Ra ♥️♥️
I'm 8 months pregnant and I dont know what I want to do with my hair. This here just may work!
You gave me a lot of hope 😂😍
Anyone who can braid their own hair is talented af great job ❤❤
Out of all the knot less videos on UA-cam yours was the most thorough, easy to follow and to understand. Thank you so much! Will be trying this out in the next few days. My curls need a break.
Michelle Victoria thank you! ♥️♥️
Aww look at your baby bump. You're just a doll. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Cause I'm braiding my hair in the morning. 🤗😍
Congrats on your bundle of joy! I love seeing baby bumps lol. But thanks for the video, I’m rey do mine this weekend. ❤️
Ihwak thank you! I hope your braids turn out nice!! ♥️
It was very helpful!!!! It's easier to follow when someone is doing their own hair. It took me 3 days 😂😂😂 but I feel like I can charge now 😎😎😎
I still have mine in, but thinking about doing jumbo next time.
Vivid Rose lmaoooooo. I’ve taken that long to do my hair before too. I’m also thinking about doing jumbo goddess styled ones!
Shaaanelle lol I was so over it!!! but it was only my second time doing braids so I was proud of how it turned out.
Those are really pretty too, ppl just complain that the crochet hair gets matted fast
Vivid Rose ew I hope not, lol. I got freetress* hair but I plan to use regular braiding hair and add in the freetress hair towards the middle and bottom where I want it to look curly. Idk, lol I gotta play with it. I wonder if you can dip that hair... 🤔
Shaaanelle you could but without cold wave rods it may straighten.
Vivid Rose imma see what happens. Worse case I’ll just put perm rods or something and re dip it to make it curly again.
Currently trying these on myself and your video helped me sooo much
Whoooop! I hope they come out super cute. For the ends, you can loosely braid the bottoms and get a wavy/ curly effect while dipping your hair. You can also use rollers or perm rods too!
Ty.. and I hope u and your family stay blessed during these hard times!
Shannon Mona ♥️ same to you, love.
You hands down have the best knotless tutorial. Your explanation is simple and easy to understand.
MLAHYA thank you! I’m glad it was useful for you. ♥️
This is the first tutorial that actually made sense to me. Thanks!!
You explained it so easily!! I can’t wait to do this
Your motivational speech is what’s gone make me actually braid my own hair. I can’t wait 😊
kataria hardge dew iht!!! Lol ♥️

Karen Williams-Webb thank you!
You’re so talented my dear!!👏🏻👏🏻.....I’d really love to do this!
I've tried regular and knotless on my head once. I remember watching this video when I first tried. Yours are so much neater than mine! I'm actually about to post a video on my channel now so I'm super excited and also very nervous lol. Hopefully, they come out better this time. I love the fact that you showed EXACTLY what to do and how to add the hair.
Moniece De’Jon gonna go watch it lol ♥️
Thank you for making it much easier to understand how to do feed in braids. Now I can try it out.

I love the way you braided you hair this is the easiest way I have seen I can braid my hair I have a hard time adding the hair...But this way I know I will be able to do it because it will be easier to add the hair in if I start my braid and add in the three pieces individually ❤️❤️❤️❤️ THAK YOU THANK THANK YOU
I'm always coming here your tutorials are so clear
🥰🥰🥰
I going to try this... Thank You 🙏🏾😍🙌🏾🙏🏾
Thank you soo much best method ever 🙏🏽❤️
This is awesome. Never seen the camera angle from the bottom so you can actually see how the fingers grab the hair from underneath. Great job.
You’re the only video that I have actually been able to understand truly. Really might have to give this a try now...especially with this whole quarantine having us on lockdown

quarantine brought me here, I need to fix the perimeter of my knotless lmao
Very informative, easy to follow, i will be giving this a try, never understood until you explained it very well, thanks for sharing.
Sylvia Smith ♥️
Going to tackle this, I'm 36 weeks preggo and need a style that'll last. Gunna give myself a few days lol, thanks for this !
Sheila Bee you can do it! I was about 38 weeks and had my girl literally a few days after I finished braiding my hair! It took about the whole day and trust, I was tired but I knew it had to be done before she came lol. Good luck and congratulations! ♥️
@@Shaaanelle thank you! 🤎
How long did this take? Is there a way that the.process can be quicker?
You made it look easy! Thank you!
DMalonesWorld if you can braid decently doing regular box braids, you can do this!! ♥️
Shaaanelle I’m going to go for it!! Thank you!!!
I want to try knotless braids so bad but I always talk myself out of it. I can do regular box braids, faux locs, crochet but I'm not sure if I have the patience for knotless but your braids look lovely.
Miss Manu thank you! Honestly I don’t feel like there’s too much of a time difference between regular and knotless box braids. There’s more prep with them but the braiding is not that much of an issue. I hope you try them! ♥️
@@Shaaanelle Yeah that does make sense. Cause you have separate the hair and prep it . I see how you feed the braids in so seamlessly. I'm going to try them eventually
Hi, This video was so helpful. I am new to braiding and want to learn how to braid knotless braids but have never braided my hair before. Is it okay to practice everyday and take the braid out. If I did that how long would it take for me to learn to do braids to a decent level? Could I do it in a month?
How do you maintain the tension ?
You’re gorgeous first off! Two reminds me of myself braiding while pregnant 😂 the work and energy it takes!! And you’re Air Force my dad was in the air force so you guys have a special place in my heart! I already had bought the hair and was like let me find a video and here you are so New Subbbbie!
Salea Dean ♥️♥️♥️ braiding while pregnant is a struggle lol I hope your hair comes out cute!
@@Shaaanelle chile with nails it's seems to be a fail 😂 talk about a struggle but thank God for husbands who help you part the back 😂
One down! 😂
Salea Dean 😂😂😂
Absolutely love how healthy your hair is.!! Any tips on healthy hair.?? Nice job on the braids; very informational/helpful.
Ty' drumgole deep conditioning!! Also just keeping your hair moisturizer and taking care with it.
Shine and jam literally absorbs into my hair
oh yeah I did like the video do you have any recommendations on how to trim clip or clean up your split ends
Moonchild 72 I’m still working on fully letting go of my ends lol. I usually have my husband help me trim my hair and then I go through and trim after him. Maybe we can do a comprehensive video on it!
You did a great job.
lionsandheaven ali thank you!
you have some beautiful hair😍😍
How long did this take for u to do?
Girl u are freaking stunning. Gorgeous
christene tene thank you, love ♥️
yes this was helpful! thanks hopefully mine look good enough lol.
Shaniya Stylik ok good! 😊 I have the take down video coming hopefully later tonight!
New subbie 👋🏽 great video ! I wanna try some on my hair !
Heavenly McWay thank you! ♥️
How many packs did you use? How many braids do you have in total? How long did it take you? And last but not least congratulations on your bundle of joy
RaSheida ASMR about 2 packs, idk because these are smaller braids so I didn’t and don’t count how many I put in, and it took about 8 hours. And thank you 😊
Thank you for your reply this will be my first time doing and I’m doing on myself
@@Shaaanelle the girl I watched it took ha 4 hours
Citizen of the World i didn’t fuckin ask you and braids usually take that long
Omgosh!! I just wondered if I could use beeswax this morning. Thanks so much because I’ve been buying edge control. It has the same texture. I just think beeswax, will hold it better.
Hi! Beeswax is a pretty good alternative. I recently found this BTL braid gel from the beauty supply and it’s sooo good! I would see if you local store carries it because it really is that good, lol.
@@mscupcakedreamson36 good luck!!
i've been doing my hair for a while now, i get better every time but one thing i've been scared to try is knotless braids bc i don't know how to feed in hair to save my life. this video was the only video where i felt like i could actually SEE what your hands were doing when you added each piece of hair. thank you!!!
Kristin Johnson you’re welcome! Just give it a try! Hopefully this works out for you. I’ve also seen people doing them crochet style. I personally don’t like the way it looks on large braids knotless braids but it might look cute if you do them small. Just another option if you can’t get this down, but I hope your attempts are successful! ♥️😂
How do you determine how much hair to use that will give you the size you want?
TRACEY MACHIO by knowing what size you want... a trick you can do is grab some hair to do a regular box braid, unbraid it, and then split that piece of hair into three. The first time I did knotless braid I sectioned all my hair into regular sized pieces first and then broke them down how I just mentioned.
Shaaanelle that’s a great technique thank you!
I hated that you used the platt 1000 times but I love how healthy and strong your natural hair is
Hi, not sure if you will see this but i was wondering if you would be able to tell me how many pieces of hair you fed into each braid? and is it important to do a certain amount? pls answer if you can i am having trouble trying to do this style. i have been struggling with the sections and the actual feed in was giving me trouble.
I did three pieces. How much hair you use is going to depend on the density of hair. If the hair is thin then you’ll need to use smaller amounts. If it’s thick then you can use thicker pieces of hair.
Every time i watch your videos i could see how easy it look to do as i say before i will definitely try it,but i mostly do Cuban twist to my hair, can you one day do a twist!! Great job as always 😊😊
ClassicMe I tried twists once and I felt like it is capable of damaging my hair since my hair isn’t really woven in. Lol idk if that made sense but I will try them again!
@@Shaaanelle ok,i do understand thanks for replying back thou😊
Awww bump!! ❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭
Are you connecting the front part row with the back?? ..... your pretty
I don’t always. It just depends on what I’m feeling like. And thank you! 😊
It’s so funny! I’m pregnant too! And I’m like I need to do my own hair and found ur video!
Beautiful Facts lol congratulations! ♥️
1:13 off topic, the chair you have here, did you order it from amazon or target? How do you like the quality? I have been thinking of purchasing them for 2 weeks now, I would love your feedback.
ThickNCurly1 I honestly don’t remember where we got the chair but I doubt it was amazon. To be honest, it’s a a little bit scratchy, especially if you get cut hair pieces on it. It’s functional tho!
You made this look so easy hopefully I get the hang of it quickly 😂💖 I wanna have mine in a while too so I don't have to worry about how my hair is looking and can just wake up n go
Kahmeel Pete these are perfect for just getting up and leaving! Lol! They made me feel like I didn’t have to do my edges! ♥️
@@Shaaanelle Yess thats what I need im goknna try these thank you for this video love😊
Kahmeel Pete they’ll be cute! 🥰♥️
I wish we could have seen the finishing product
Really nice braids and very helpful! I do have a question tho. When you're adding the hair in the process of braiding,is the hair folded in half ?
Ruth Ziempuo yes! It’s in half using that same U shape you would if you were braiding regularly.
@@Shaaanelle Ok thank you😊
How do i keep my transitioning hair healthy without shedding a lot of hair? Please help
Shanice Abrahams honestly that depends on your hair. You have to know how it reacts to certain products. Deep conditioning is important tho. And keeping it moisturized. If your hair is shedding you might need to take extra care of your scalp.
I just did this on my self yesterday
Braids By Nisha I hope it was cute!! I love knotless braids
How many pack did u used... loved it!!
cornice Julien I typically use one to one and a half packs! ♥️
Baby bump 😍
What if you don’t have jam, beeswax or gel ? Can I still do it ?
GoWarriors Go yes
They look great! You said you’ve had them in about 4 weeks right? What do they look like now? Have you gotten them wet at all?
Genevieve LeeAnn I haven’t wet them. Only the mist and whatever from the shower. They’ve grown out a bit but other than that I think they look fine. I was expecting them to get a little messy but it’s not too bad. Maybe I’ll record an update or the takedown.
Shaaanelle yes please!!
kdkkat I did a GRWM so I’m gonna see how the footage came out and if it’s good, I’ll post that but if not I’ll just post me taking them down this Friday and hopefully get that video posted this weekend.
How many packs of hair did you use?!
Aujohneeh Woods If I remember correctly, I only needed that one jumbo pack.
For some reason when I did your technique my knotless braids became plaits😕
