When I was in 10th grade biology class, the teacher announced, "In 100 years, red heads will be extinct" and the entire class clapped and cheered....they forgot I was there and slowly they all went silent when one student said I was there...I remember feeling so very sad and alone in that moment. I hated having orange hair until more recently. Now I love having this hair color and honestly as an adult I get a lot of compliments about it.... I hope younger people with orange hair (that get made fun of) grow to realize that it is beautiful and unique.

I got a lot of crap as a kid with red hair too but after I became an adult and lived in Asia for six or so years I was extremely popular with the local ladies there hahaha!

So, I live in Breda. The festival has been held in Breda during all the other editions. Now, this year I haven't seen any posters or anything regarding the red head days. Which I thougt was weird. Turns out it was being held in a different place all of a sudden... Such a shame. But now I know, I'm going next year.
