I have loved the patterns & prints found at Anthropologie for a while now. The pillows are wonderful & the way you designed the room with tropical oranges & berry colors is perfect. The patterns seem influenced with a Moroccan flare without going overboard like true middle eastern patterns can. I just absolutely love the whole room. Orange is trending right now & has been for a couple of years so I'd say you can't go wrong with it.
I love the fact that if you live long enough the styles come back over and over. I remember these colors were popular in the 1960's and again in the 1980's. Your home turned out great!

Used orange for my middle bedroom, just reminds me of flowers and the hues of nature: sunsets, sunflowers, dawn and dusk. This room is beautifully designed.

Although orange wouldn't normally be a go-to color for me, I LOVE your particular use of orange here. Those pillows (color/pattern/texture), along with the headboard, pull together the old & new, adding an earthy, almost organic touch as well. So welcoming! I find many aspects of your design choices throughout this home to be very inspiring when I look at my own furnishings. Thanks for doing this series.
I love the orange! It really becomes a neutral with the way you "moved" it around and added pops of darker colors along with the mirrors and WOW is all I can say about that fabulous headboard. BTW...I do love the pillows and they were a great jumping off point!
the color orange adds just a little bit of excitement. I used an orange color in my dining room on one wall with a pair of darker orange curtains over the double window. it was beautiful and lively. It added some life to every party I threw. It is a great accent color.

Love all the orange!! Orange is such a vibrant color, it's got more punch than the greens you use to always see. I think it's fair to say I love everything from Paul Michael Company and I'll be looking them up.

I was surprised to learn this was a king-sized bed. It appears to work fine. Love the room and I'm only so-so on orange. It works beautifully because it harmonizes with everything else. I'd be more inclined to go soothing green tones, but that's just me. Just began watching your episodes today. I am positively GORGING myself on P.Smith and GHC! Why I like orange, quite simply everytime I see it, it makes me smile inside. Ever see the o.j. in the morning seems to greet you with a great salutation as if to say Hey, good morning! Ever see a vintage VW beetle in orange don't you feel yourself smile as it zooms by and shout out slug bug? In my kitchen I keep tangerines in a vintage scale they look so cheerful!
I love Everything! Yes the pillows are Fabulous, all the pillows like the one you have by that little table. I have orange in my livingroom as an accent wall and right next to that wall are two large windows at night just about sunset my livingroom Glows. Makes me so happy. That's why I love the color orange. I love what you do I watch u all the time, on tv. and now I found u on utube. Thank you!!

On first glance, the room does not appear to be orange. The light tone of the headboard and the silver end tables cool down the whole effect of orange, so it just seems a natural color to accent the taupe walls and natural colors that are predominant. The color of orange is really apricot, and not bright and strong at all. Amazing use of brown on the bedskirt and blinds! And I love the weathered wood on the furniture. Very pleasant.
In the 1970s, college roommate and I did our room in orange and hot pink, then didn't use those colors again for 30 years in farmhouse, but now in 1940s Cape Cod Im using orange and red because of my obsession with growing poppies.
I love Orange! My house has a lot of burnt orange and reds. In fact, my teenagers daughters bedroom main color is that burnt orange with accents of chocolate brown and turquoise blue. I believe orange is the happiest color that exists followed by chartreuse green :-).
I really like the orange. One doesn't think of orange much but it is a toned down sunny warm. Yellow is a usual color but orange is the new red or yellow for a bedroom or any room in a home! It is certainly a toned down color from bright red or yellow.
Orange is not one of my favorite colors, but I lived in a rental with sad gray rooms I tried many colors, finally the drapes pier one one paisley print with yellow deep green red and yellow. It brightened it up . Cheered it up. I do love your color mixture, of course it’s perfect and stays in the conservative side -not BOHO . Nice color mixture .

This is very nice and I really like the orange. I would only change one small thing, I would have gone with a neutral, bed spread instead of the orange. I think that would make the other beautiful orange items in the room pop a little more, especially the quilt and pillows. Beautiful done and thanks for sharing.
Really like the gothic headboard but feel it gets lost against the wall. I would have painted it in a darker solid color. The orange looks great. Love all the different patterns you've incorporated into this room.
I love orange and use little pops against a neutral palette... I tend to use it more late summer - early fall but not in seasonal decor but in home decor.... I also love to pair it with pinks, reds ( tomato red) and turquoise or the pastel versions of those colors ... to accentuate it I use black, aubergine or brown in minut accents. I'm a person who uses color very very sparingly in a sculptural way. I love your boldness and live vicariously through your videos in color. We are redoing my husband's Den and using a vintage poster of a ship as the transmitter for the room so his colors are a base of black white and gray with navy orange and citrine as the punch... Should be interesting... the TV sideboard is citrine but original from the 50s.... my initial Instinct was to paint it but he wants to work around it and use the color as intended....

You mad me smile 'cos that was one of my Mum's favourite saying.....she lived to 94 so she certainly saw plenty of styles come round again!

I prefer a warm yellow to orange but the ceramic flowers are my favorite besides the repurposed headboard. Nice room overall, and it is pretty.

I would have had a pop of magenta/hot pink flowers somewhere.

Orange is energizing, youthful, pleasantly unexpected when used as an accent.
