@@SirLappis It was amazing to watch. All them guys out there were going full send. One of my favorite teams was the guys from Japan. Those guys were all heart out there.

Deberían llevar las armas que usaban los aztecas para capturar personas para los sacrificios, con oxidiana y todo! Siento que podría ser más “letal” que una espada. Sería?
Now the Aztec warriors are Knight's 😂😂 I know they tried to do their best ,vut they looked like Ewooks with armor, the 🇺🇲has to much knowledge and power 💪💪
@@__mindflayer__ This isn't HEMA. The only goal is to get your opponent to the ground. Judo techniques becomes more prominent, the use of weapons aren't really beneficial other than using them to hook around the head. Thrusting isn't allowed. It just becomes a shoving match. HEMA on the other hand was all about using one's weapon to their advantage, including thrusting into the gaps between armor pieces. I'm no football fan, but even I can see how this really is just football without a ball. Still entertaining though.
Border clashes getting wild
LOL
WERE GETTING TROUGH THE BORDER WITH THIS ONE 🗣🔥
Suppose to be Battle of Alamo or Battle of Santa Ana in a modern colour footage.
The border clash we all been waiting for!
LOL
I really love how the Mexican teams' tabards have fully detailed coats of arms on them, also the Spanish symbolism with the Saint Andrew crosses
Yeah its great
The outfits on both sides look freaken great.
They sure do 👍
My brother fought for Team USA. They won gold in 16 vs 16
Congratz!

I need to get into this
You should, see you soon at the list 👍😀
A shield wall still counts as a wall, right?

That helmet at 1:37 looks awesome
Totally agree!
If I’m not mistaken, several of the Team USA members live in Arizona! ☺️☺️☺️
Very possible, I really don't know
the Mexicans should have some aztec conscripts they make go first, only with loin clothes and flint daggers
Here I am at 11pm, watching two nations that didn't exist in medieval time fight in medieval style combat. 😂
@@tolrex4246 And hopefully enjoying yourself 😃
Quien ganó
0:47 this is very clipable lol
@@VeggiesOutFront LOL, indeed. Memorable moments for sure.
@7:30 the downed Mexican is trying to trip our guy!!!
Well spotted
Remember the Alamo!!!
I was thinking more... pick up kenjutsu real quick and defeat every single player in the arena, "in stride..."
Might work
хотя бы этих победили
2 countries that never had knights or armour.. its no wonder they dont know how to fight. This looks like american football.
Closer to ice hockey I would say ;)
Debería ser sin reglas
😂
Tame...very tame compared to the Europeans
There are huge differences between the teams, and specific fights. Good fight none the less though.

Well that`s harsh, but funny :)
They should take some real trained mexican street fighters
Indeed :)
USA and mexico don´t exist in the medieval time 🤣
True. This sport is not about replaying historical matches :)
True, but these matches are fun, and a lot of these guys do study medieval fighting techniques. “Lay on!”
I still don't get this sport, there's zero skill or technique involved
That’s not true but ok.
Ever heard of hema? They are literally using techniques to take down someone who has armor
Oh buddy... if only you could be thrown into ONE of these tournaments, you'd be surprised.
@@O.LEO.N Im sure that why militaries at the time this was made used this to train for war. Obviously they don’t want to teach them skills.

I e seen pillow fights more aggressive than this battle
We should try pillows ;)
