I can’t wait I’m changing from a 4790k and a gtx 980 to a 13900k and a 4080 super. Hella excited
Is it only a gaming pc or do u use for other stuff Bcs 7800x3d offers a lot more performance in games but it’s not good for anything else
Yeah I’d always go AMD CPU for a gaming pc
@@bigman8816I have a 7800X3D myself and I love it, but a tuned 13900K is absolutely crazy if you know what you are doing. I personally wanted to take it easy and went AMD. No tuning or expensive cooling needed
@@bigman8816 Personally even for gaming I'd want more than eight cores. If you're building a premium system cores are very nice to have. Personally if I was building right now I'd go 7900x non 3d chip.
@@Fetchdafish I’m just an intel fan boy since the beginning. I’ll be fine with the i9 13900k and a 4080 super. Big upgrade from what I have now and I don’t plan on gaming in 4K. But i do appreciate the info though
the only youtuber that doesn’t cry about the card he just enjoys i like that i just bought my 4080 super🔥
I did too! I got the founders edition.
same here!! Wasnt able to get my hands on a FE 4080S but I was able to get the Ventus 3x 0C which I cant complain about!!
@@connorloomis nice i got the gigabyte aero
LOL sticking with my 4080
@@Drewkungfoo if I had a 4080 I would have stayed too, especially with the minimal upgrade. I’ve had an RX 580 so I think I was due for an upgrade.
Using this video to help me build my pc once my 4080 super comes in
I love how he can immasculate the parts and man handle them to really show you that you have to put a LOT of effort into the process of breaking components to be afraid of breaking anything. This should boost a lot of new builders confidence, honestly.
Very nice video. Thank you very mutch, this helps me allot since im trying to still understand everything with Pcs. I want to build my own one and this really helped me allot
This was fun to watch as I am finishing literally this same build now!
Ordering mine cant waittt
I've just built more or less this exact build! Absolutely well pleased.
It's happened to me, and I see it's also happened to you. Before I install my MB I attach the top left power cables. There is usually only a small distance between these power cables and the case. I also attach other power cables to the MB before I place the MB into the case. I believe in the 'KISS' acronym, which stands for Keep It Simple, Stupid. If you use a dual chamber case, the bottom will be empty, and bottom-mounted fans can be installed there, providing extra airflow on the GPU.
Liking the improvement to editing. Keep it up.
What cameras do you use?
BMPCC6K cameras
@@TechHunterOfficial thank you.
Love watching your videos. You’re so funny 😂
Great video and awesome build!!!
Just buyed an 4080 super Windforce v2. Im comming from a 1070 ti, cant wait!
got my gigabyte OC 4080 super just waiting for it to be ready for pick up can't wait to get my build ready!
Cooler is an absolute monster. Big fan of deep cool. Thanks again, always a education!
I’m considering the 4080. Lovely build
These gpus come with gpu brackets right? I guess theyre needed to keep it from sagging? If they are, would you recommend the ones coming in the box, or third party ones? Im thinking of getting the msi 4080 super slim version, but I wanna be sure what to use here
got my 7950x3d + 4080 super system today. its amazing
hows it performing is 2k. im gonna get the exact same CPU and GPU for mainly 2k gaming.
@@edvinloba8754 it performs very well.
I went Lancool 3 and I love that case.
Updated my PC earlier last year (X670e MotherBoard, 32gb Ram and an 7800X3D) did it in preparation as I've been using my Rtx 2070 Super for years)
Just Purchased a 4080 Super, bit of an upgrade😅. Can't wait!
Yes that is a huge upgrade.
I haven't played any games because I've been waiting for my gpu to arrive since the 22nd December. Its the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 which should look great in my completely white pc. Most of all, I can't wait to play games again! I'm looking forward to playing Baulder's gate 3, God of War, Age of Empires 4, and some League!
I got my hands on an MSI 4080S Expert (in the USA) and it actually came with a 3-way PCIe adapter. Maybe the Palit card isn't meant for overclocking super hard so they've just included a 2-way.
Bought the 4080 super founders edition today, was originally meant to go for 4080 so it’s a win/win for me cheaper in price and ever so slightly better in performance….cant complain!
Cheaper in price same performance. Win. Neutral.
@@daviddunaway9257 thanks buzz killington
I like it, just a question, what water cooler would you recommend if i didn't want that huge black box?
Great case!
OMG, that air cooler is so huge!!!!! wow... hahah! ;)
I have the Deepcool ak620 on my 7600x and it works really well.
I have the ak500 on my 7800x3D and it does pretty well. Temps never go above 75ish which I think is pretty decent for an already hot cpu. I should’ve went for the 620 with the display screen but I didn’t really think it was worth the extra money.
Just got an Asus 4080 Super ProArt OC for £969, I'm so happy xD
Is it worth maxing the ram and getting a bigger SSD ,what would you recommend
What program is being used to monitor the fps and temps and usage? Never seen one with a transparent background 👀👀
New subs for PC Centric.
0:13 *gets deja vu*
It is insane
Im looking for a more economical build for 4k gaming:
How does this setup sound:
16 gb ram
1 tb ssd
Rtx 4080 super
I5 13 gen
Some cheap motherboard 1/3 the processor price
750w bronze power supply
A random full atx case
Stock cpu fan if they give that or some cheap fan
Would be getting more ram affect the performance very much or no?

Thnx
bro just copied the description
At 14:44 that adapter come with the power supply or you bought separately. Can you put that adapter name to the description so i can buy it?
Can you render videos and stream with the cpu or would you swap it for intel
this case comes with gpu cards support and you can also move the mobo up a notch with air cooling configuration.
I still cannot believe people install their heavy GPUs with the case upright.
Great video. I’m currently looking to build my first new PC since 2010 and I have a budget of about £2500 and looking at either the 4080 Super or the 4070 Ti Super so this is really helpful for me. One thing I would like to see though - I’m not a fan of glass panels or RGB. I’d rather spend the money on performance and airflow - nobody seems to be doing builds like that and it’s all about making the rig look as cool as possible. Does it make much difference to the price if you prioritise function over looks?
Hello there.. you have the exact same problem with me!! Build mine at 2011, now kinda getting outdated.. also trying to build a new pc with the same budget but theres a lot of talks about how its not time to build yet. Mind to share your plan on how to build? Also not a fan of rgb😂(i'm old school) tag me
If you need help with a zero rgb build I can help. Just let me know.
4080 super is a super videocard! I have updated from RTX 4070 t0 RTX 4080 Super and have +50% fps! This videocard is a great choice for 100-160fps gaming in 2K, even in Native 2K. I also use SLDSR 4K for better image for my 2K monitor, and it helps to get sharp image even in such blurry games like Uncharted 4, Forbidden West, Robocop, Mafia 3 and so on. I'm so glad to get this videocard. It's great to play ultra with high fps
Doi need to buy some sort of adaptor for the graphics card on this build,if so what is it
Dont get why people hate on the 40super line.
Got the 4070ti super myself last week and absolutly love it.
Performance is good, heat is low and whisper quiet.
Came from a RX6950XT that sounded like a jet engine.🤣
Most people complaining are all people who have a 4080 or some other 40xx and don’t see the point in upgrading so they call it another cash grab. These cards are not for those already in a current gen or even 2nd gen of the 30xx line. It’s meant for people 3-4 generations behind who want to upgrade but can still move their current cards to supplement. I had a 4070ti but upgraded to the 4080 super today. Sold my 4070ti for 650 to my buddy who is building a rig next week. Saved him some money and got my upgrade for the card I wanted but didn’t want to spend 2-3 times the MSRP on the 4080 a year ago.
People hate it because its price. Its not worth $1200, and its not worth even the $1000 tag. Now people are selling it for $1500 on Amazon and Ebay.
Because the price is absolutely DISGRACEFUL.
I don't get why people buy these things at such prices, which only serves to support this idea of GPU's at double the price they should be.
The FE price I can deal with, but when all others cost £300 more its just ridiculous.
Given the 5000 series is coming out soon, how would you build your ai and gaming pc today give that you will most likely want to upgrade when the 5000 comes out and I would pass down my card to a family member who currently has a 3080.
So you can use the mobo right out of the box with the 7800x3d?
I got all my parts now except the motherboard. I ordered it a week ago and it will arrive in April 15th to April 19th. I have the patience to wait but I just checked now, why would it choose the the last? Before It usually arrives on the first day of the estimated date.
I overclocked my regular RTX 4080 and it outperforms the super lineup.
I havs the same psu and same video card. What adapter is that? The one that splits the cable into 2?
Looking at a similar build but 1. Not fussed about 4k 2. Not fussed about ray tracing and 3. Not that fussed about having everything set to max quality. I would rather have normal or high FPS for multiplayer games which means just running things on normal level detail. It is sad that we can spend about 3.3k on a system and still not have it handle max everything though as this video demonstrates. Years ago when you got the latest PC system you could crank everything up to max and it would run buttery smooth.
I have a 16gb card and it is a 40 series GPU. It is the 4060ti 16gb and I paid £420 for it.
What cords do I need for this pc I’m new to pc me am not sure what I need
Pease do a Corsair 7000 series build. That case is a beast!
What overlay are you using to test Gpu and cpu at the end?
I have the same ram and processor but I’m worried about enabling XMP, 6400 is a bit much for it
What components or setup would you recommend that would make swapping out a 4080 to a 4090 an easy plug and play swap? I would like to get a 4080 until I can afford the 4090 but I want to avoid additional expenses when doing so.
It all depends on your set up but I would go with more then what you need at a reasonable price so higher tier components and not the bare minimum.
Hi, can i go for an 850w thermaltake gf3 PSU with this or 1000w?
Does anyone know if I can swap the 4080 super for the 4090 suprim liquid x in this build? I really like the components, but I would love to use a 4090 😊
Just got my computer through the mail from Digital Storm. Got it with an i9 14900K with a PNY 4080 Super.
same, just ordered a pre built
What was the bug with cyberpunk?
It's not basic but it's not rgb crazy either it's that sweet spot in between
can any one recommend a monitor for a pc with rtx 4080 super and Ryzen 7800x 3d so that it can support the full potential of the pc
could i add more storage to this build say 2tb and 4tb and maybe more memory?
14:46 so I'm building my rig right now, and I can use the PCIe 5.0 cord or I could just do it the way you did it. Is there any advantages to either besides less cords? I'm paranoid the new 5.0 tech might fry my GPU 😅
which of these two did you use then?
Hello centric!!! Is it possible for you to respond to this with a build for $2000 but still with the 4080 super?
I went to check that x670e-f boars went on overclockers its 349.99 not 229.99 ☠️
Was thinking about going 4080 super but naturally they're all $1600 right now
Only ones that are bundled with cpus and monitors. There are a ton of them on Newegg for $999-$1099.
Are nzxt power supplies reliable ?
How do you get such low temps on the 7800x3d? 😢
Going from a fx8350 with r9 290 to a 78003d with 4080 super. Hope i get noticible better fps
I'm so happy that you didn't sh*t all over the card. The 4080 is 50% faster than its predecessor as is. Which is more than a regular generation leap.
Keep being positive, mate, it's very much appreciated 👌
Would a 750w PSU, specifically MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750W 80+ gold, be a good enough PSU to power a system with 4080 super and 7800x3d? I saw the recommended is 850w, but I dont wanna upgrade psu unless I really need to
You can go 850 watt but I would go 1,000 watt you should get more then what you need.
Hey guys, I'm not sure if I should go for an intel or the ryzen 7 7800x3d.
I want to do some 4k video editing but nothing too hard-core.
Still don't want to bottleneck my prodoctivity capabilities
The 7800x3d is the best out of the box gaming cpu and should be good with some productivity on the side. I have an all white high end build with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 ram. You can also go for the 7950x or the 7950x3d on the amd side or the 13900k or the 13900ks or the 14700k or the 14900k on the intel side. Look at comparisons on youtube.
@@MrAnimescrazy Thank you for the help, I'm thinking of getting a 4070 ti super with it. I wanna make sure I don't bottleneck anything ;)
@strm343 no problem.
Hello friends, please guide me. Do you think Silverstone HELA 1300R platinum power is better or Corsair RM1200XSHIFT?
I only buy Corsair psus but it’s up to you
I have a 2023 corsair 1,000 watt gold power supply for my all white 4090 build. I would think either power supply is good.
i wanted your thoughts on 4070 super for a 1.2lac inr (~ 1500 usd) budget 2k gaming + game development ? I am getting 70 super inno3d for 58k (this is the cheapest one i can find in my country ~ 700usd), I'd really appreciate your input on this please or do you think i should increase my budget a bit and go for 70 ti super? it costs 78k inr (980usd) The budget is really an issue for me
What is your budget? I would go for the 4070 ti super.
@@MrAnimescrazy yes I finally settled on 7600x/4070ti super will now upgrade after two generations XD
Would this build also work for a 4090?
So what would the largest cpu could I put in this board.... to run Microsoft flight sim and davinci resolve at a very high spec.... no rush to answer mate...
If you go intel you can go with the 13900k or the 13900ks or the 14900k on the intel side. On the amd side the 7950x or the 7950x3d. You can look at comparison videos on youtube but I believe intel is better at productivity but of course it depends on your budget.
I was so scared seeing that GPU standing on the edge of the table when you were swinging stuff around.
How do u buy the palit rtx 4080 super gamingpro
what if u have 10fans rgb with i9 13900k cpu and u have 4080super i can still use the 850w or should i go with 1000w?
I would go with 1,000 watts or more because the 13900k uses a lot of watts.
i bought my Asus 4070 ti super last week and returned it today and got the Asus tuff gaming 4080 super but for me im upgrading from a 1080ti so i think it was worth it 😅
Yes that is a huge upgrade.
im looking at your personal build on amazon can you link me a mother board that is compatible and close to the the ASUS ROG Crosshair GENE bc it is out of stock. The PC I am building is "The PC Centric Personal Rig 2023!" I want to make sure everything is the right part its the only part unavailble rn. PLEASE HELP!!
the beginning genuinely made me think i was buggin
Does this fit with the y70 hyte computer case
hello , i was wondering if you can help me , i have a AMD RYZEN 5 5500 and a nvidia 3070ti , in some games i have a bottle neck on cpu is there anything i can chnage i have ddr4 , dont know if this makes sense
You can upgrade the cpu to a 5800x3d and maybe upgrade the motherboard.
im changing currently from a i7 8700k 1080ti to 7800x3d 4080super my dreambuild the last parts are on the way
Bro I’m upgrading those components today such bitter sweet moment🤧
The upset over the Super sounds picky to me lol
A PC Centric video without Apex Legends as a benchmark? OMG HE'S BEEN KIDNAPPED AND REPLACED WITH A CLONE!
4080 Super is already being sold at $1500 on Amazon...
I snagged my FE online from BestBuy at like 08:45 CST
What's the of that monitor?
Anyone noticed that the latest Nvidia driver is causing high GPU usage?
Is the zotac version good? cause is the cheapest option in my country.
Yes zotac is good.
Question! What do you do with these pc's when u build them and test the benchmarks for a video? Do u sell them or give them away to a relative or a friend?
what keyboard is that?
If i had to make one complaint, it's always safer to enable EXPO, XMP, DOCP etc. after installing you OS, as not all RAM kits, motherboards, and CPU's can actually run the memory at the advertised sppeds. Sometimes it can run it, but may crash at random, and you want to avoid you PC crashing whilst installing you operating system as that is asking for a curropted OS.
will you ever do a full noctua build? also I think the 4080 super is actually really cool where it has 2 to 5 percent more performance while it's quite cheaper then the card it's replacing
The 7900xtx is way cheaper and if ray tracing isnt a factor it's a way better card.... Is that right?
Let's assume the 4080 super and 7900 xtx are both right in front of you and you get to pick one for free. Which card are you taking?
Screwdriver did nothing got me 😂
I missed my chance to buy a 4080 super cause of work 😪
Good luck buying one lol
scalpers strike again for me… they were up for sale for like 2 minutes than sold out.
Than up for sale again for 2200 😂😂😂
