That's really a good hack to use that torch to achieve those burnt edges that you wont usually achieve on normal oven. And the most amazing you didn't use oven! BRAVO!!!!

What should I do - try to push the dough to make it thinner or put more fire from the gas torch, how do you think?

I followed your instruction as closely as I could but cooked the pizzas on top of an upside down tray in the oven and they turned out spectacular (just like everything else I’ve made from your channel). Thank you very much. I didn’t have tomato pulp, I only had passata and Italian plum tomatoes. I used the plum tomatoes and chopped them up but I think there is too much juice this way and so cooked the sauce down to reduce the liquid. I’d reduce the amount of salt if I did it again this way because the reduction leaves the sauce on the edge of being over-seasoned (I drank more beer to compensate for my mistake though 👍). I buy sacks of bread flour so I used that, which still turns out great, but for some reason I looked in my baking box after I’d eaten the pizza to discover that I actually have an unopened 1kg bag of 00 pizza flour.... I’ll use that next time if I remember. Anybody who follows Andrea’s recipe/instructions here and doesn’t get good results has done something wrong. Spectacular, chef.

@@dzunglu7184 No need to wait that long, you make a dough in 1 minute, let it raise for 30 min (enough), in the meantime prepare all the ingredients. Put the dough into bigger pan (I use 32 cm), 5 min on medium heat, and last minute use the torch / flamer...Perfect in no time. Did it today...just eating it, best pizza ever.. Using a torch is brilliant, pizza looks like the one from high temperature pizza oven..
Can we use fresh oregano in the sauce? I would also like to know if pizzas in Italy are always made with uncooked canned tomatoes or there are certain styles of pizzas where the tomatoes are pre cooked before they are spread on the bizza base. Thanks in advance.
Yes 👍🏼 you can We use uncooked canned tomatoes 🥫 because it’s already cooked in the can , so you don’t need to cook it again. Or we use fresh tomatoes directly on the pizza 🍕 usually cherries tomatoes

I do not have a torch. BUT I am determined to make this. I will use a cast iron skillet for mine and broil at the end 🍕 your pizza and beer look fantastic....I mean spectacular!

Teeko - I bought the torch and gas this morning for 10 EUR, worth every penny, pizza made this way is simply amazing. what a find, will never prepare pizza any other way than this
