I noticed that after experimenting a bit that the pizza from the pan is actually better than the pizza from my oven. I make it in a stainless steel pan without olive oil, so can make the pan nice and hot create the black spots on the dough.
Of course i don't have a pizza steel, which is why the pizza from my oven lacks those black spots and doesn't bubble up very nicely.
Also it's faster in the pan. Super nice!

Never have I tried Pizza in PADELLA, but it looks so good when you made it that now I have to try to do it too!
At the end of the day it would be hard to turn down any delicious pizza from you. It would be interesting to see if a Bakers Torch would improve the crusts puffiness and make it more crispy🤔 seen one other youtuber do it and had interesting results.
Honestly, I never thought that it may work this way ... but I could give it a try 👍

I just love your recipe so simple
in CT there are a few restaurants that make an OIL PIE....I've experimented and find that 1/2 canola and 1/2 olive oil in pan (cast iron well preheated is great too) under the dough ( maybe a tablespoon of each ) makes for a really tasty pie I put it all in the oven although stove top would also be good

Hi Vito, i already did it, in this way : I put the pizza in the padella, add tomato sauce and cover.
After the side under is colored, i put the pizza in a pan, add all the others ingredients, olive oil on the crust, and then i put the pan under the grill (max) for 5/6 minutes. You obtain a pizza as in a pizzeria ! 😋🍕
I do it too. Works wonderfully with a cast iron pan hot on the stove. Then put the dough without olive oil, add tomato, cheese. Then the same pan under the grill.

I use a crepe pan with 26cm of diameter and a hand torch. If i put some meat on my pizza, i also use the up grill of my eletric oven (close to the resistence). Perfect!

@@pomponi0 Grow Basil indoors. Give it a little heat mat and grow bulb. All year long.
I plant more basil seeds in the spring so I can have a bounty to enjoy with tomatoes. But I nurture a plant or two in the winter. Don't over water during winter and allow them to flower. When the flowers dry you have seeds for more plants.
