Manhattan might be a long way from Long Branch, NJ stylistically, but I think she would blow minds with that performance. He's just something so big to me that I cant even describe it really. Some people believe in superheroes, how the fly and wear cool logo on their chests.. have that cape around their neck.. how they have different types of powers. Well, Bruce is a hero to me, with his music I can walk down the street with a smile on my face.
Had the privilege and pleasure of meeting Melissa when she played at Manchester Cathedral where I work earlier this year. Sadly I didn't stay for the concert but she was fantastic during the rehearsals and was happy to pose for photos and sign autographs for fans who took advantage of the fact part of the building was open to the public and came in to listen.

I was lucky enough to see The Big Man in his last tour with the E Street Band. Even then when he was limited to a stool for most of the concert, he brought passion and energy and life to the stage!

Melissa has pretty much fashioned her long lived career as a singer and songwriter after Bruce. Her talent is awesome, her songs are just as soul touching as Bruce's though in a different way. Melissa is probably Bruce's biggest fan. :)
