- In the snowgrave route of Deltarune Chapter 2, there is some bonus dialog from Spamton that tells you to "go play minecrap", but what happens if you actually do so?

It really would have been funny if Toby actually had a way to check if you did in fact play Minecraft
I know in between game changes exist in the realm of the same franchise like earning a trophy on FNAF world when beating FNAF custom night 20x50 mode, but they are few and far between in my knowledge of it...
It's definitely doable, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did add some special dialogue for playing Minecraft when Spamton tells you to in a later update.

remember, Scott Cawthon linked Ultimate Custom Night and FNaF World, so if Toby tried to, theoretically, both games could be linked
Theoretically yes but most likely will never happen because ucn and Fnaf world are made from the same creator Scott. Toby fox would have to speak with Mojang just for the game to check if it opened or not.
@@Soons.. Is it about the copyright? If so, I could understand. Otherwise, I think he'd be able to check for it - after all, Undertale was capable of checking for various recording programs. I know a lot of Ukagakas are similarly capable of seeing what apps are in use, as is Doki Doki Literature Club. The coding would be... Well, not "simple," but he'd know how to do it.

You need to log into the user account Noelle Holiday, nametag a light blue parrot berdly, feed it gamers delight named seeds, then put it in a snow powdered bucket named snowgrave, upon which the berd will turn into a turtle egg shaped blue translucent cube of ice, then from the deltarune application you will hear the big shot phrase in the noise rythm of "OH YEAH" and spamton will let you into his room and use a command block to send you back to spawn in Minecraft changing the game mode to snowgrave difficulty and in deltarune the game resets and a small message congratulates you for playing Minecrap in wingdings, and a pixelated imagine of notch, jeb, temmie, and Toby fox as a dog drinking from ice cream sundaes in a booth pvz card style and resets the game, while in Minecraft basically the immortal snail idea is put into effect and you are chased down to death by a flying brown baby mooshroom freezing everything in it's path until you eventually get frozen instantly by touching it.

it would be the most toby fox thing for there to be extra dialogue cus of opening up minecrap, sadly that doesn't happen
It's not likely to be worth it - It's already really difficult to detect a running instance of Minecraft externally as-is, due to different JVMs and launchers being used, and it would also require the game to read info about other running processes which could have potential security implications
@@thatotherandrew_ not really, i don't know too much about GMS2 but i'd imagine scanning currently opened programs and then checking if one of them's named 'minecraft.exe' wouldn't be a security risk

Building brown bricks in minecrap is the most fun you can have playing a game
Best part is this is completely do-able. DDLC checks If Xsplit or DDLC are running, Steam checks if discord is running, Discord checks (and directly interacts with!) If any game is running
Problem: probably Minecraft's code it's too safe and that all stuff that probably toby will just can if ask permission and help to mojang
@SonicfanaticOfficialGD no need to modify minecraft, just check if the executable is running
So games can check for files in the computer, like, any file, even ones you can just move about yourself without breaking stuff (if I remember correctly OneShot does it repeatedly in the final act of the game) so, Toby could probably code it to detect if there is a .minecraft file and if so, detect if a new log file has been generated within the last minute…
But there’s probably legal issues or something so that might be why he didn’t include it
Would be surprised if the game detected if you opened minecrap after seeing this dialogue...
It might've actually worked more likely if you didn't run Fabric. Pretty sure it's not detected as normal minecraft, just how if you mod it via forge. Altho chances are it wouldn't do anything either way

You should have just edited the dialogue through deltarune its self cause that it would look like it was from deltarune but it wouldnt be the original text
