I read roberto savianos book in a hut in the italian Mountains when I was way too young. After Reading it, on the same vacation, we went into a media store, where I was able to convince my parents to buy me the film. When my parents went off to Milano for a day, I stayed in the hut and watched that dvd on my dad‘s Laptop. It fucked me up for the rest of the vacation. I had a Constant earworm from that song, always feeling like I had some Type of insight
This song was really impressive when I saw the movie in a theatre. During the whole film there was no score, and suddenly this began during the credits. It fits the film perfectly, thanks for uploading!
This songs make me scare, sometime I can't even ear it, and it's not a joke or a lie. I've been living in Naples since I was born, and in earing this songs, in front of my eyes too many ghosts appeares. I'm not toalking about monsters, I'm talking about blood, drug, whores, guns, bullets, cruel smiling faces. A normal guy shouldn't have ever seen this kind of thing, but I've did. Because I'm from Naples, capital of the world greatest industry. Greetings from Naples... I'm sorry for my english
13 Years ago and it’s still one of the most psychologically haunting pieces of music out there. Ghouls and creatures are fictional characters we create to indulge our desire to feed our adrenaline. The men in this movie kill without hesitation and very little reason. That is the most terrifying thing of all. These kids thought they were going to make the deal of their lives. Instead, they’re gunned down in cold blood, at sunset. Literally, at the eve of their lives. To end up in an anonymous grave in Sicily; never to be found.
I wonder how the mind of Robert del Naja is like. In the interviews I've seen, he comes off as snowflakey, liberal (very), tender, which are quite a contrast to the bestial, ceremonial and utterly dark shamanic tunes he had produced throughout the years. What an intricate mind. Beautiful. Massive.
Ah no worries. I misread you. However, there are other examples of Massive Attack tracks that were used in the end credits of other films that have never seen a proper release, so I would'nt say its obvious it would be available on CD. I'm just glad Herculeumn is on CD. Also, the film its from - "Gomorra", is one of the best (and also most brutal) films I've seen in recent years and if it had'nt been for the MA involvement I probably would never have had the pleasure to see it.
It actually is on CD available to purchase. It's the final track on the Gomorrah soundtrack. Do a search for it on amazon, even though it does tend to be pricey and out of stock regularly.
Since I posted this comment I recieved a lot of bad feedack. Maybe just a few people understood that my comment is referred to the emotions that the song inspire me. That's not a general opinion on my city. That's what the song make me think about my city while I'm listening it. Talk only bad about Naples is not good, of course. But talking 'bout Naples like it's all okay it's not right too. Truth stays in the middle.
"A normal guy shouldn't have ever seen this kind of thing, but I've did. Because I'm from Naples, capital of the world greatest industry." it is clear that even a little to make you play the victim, highlighting the negative aspects that exist but that only feed the hunger of those who live in this sort of gossip. Naples unfortunately, the world capital for culture, for centuries, is painted in one color, the black of the crime.and it's not the only one, Naples has more more, colours and shades
Yeah, man. I be remembering all my Germanic colloquialisms. Helps me pivot off my Viking bag with out all that n-word interference.

Haha, yeah, same here. Came to the movie only for the reason MA did some music in it. Great movie experience. Its terrible its actually based on true story.
wow.. i was looking at the picture and i was wondering how nature really "swallows" things. how it swallows us and the objects of our existence to be more exact. oh well, what a deep tune! i've just found it know. MA :)
As a kid...I lived across the street from the cold, gray pacific ocean Beach in San Francisco .. I always returned to the thought..that the waves had been breaking forever..and washing away time
It is probably a single made by Robert del Naja - not really massive attack... On the other hand, massive attack has been about 40 different persons (all in all) through time, and therefore, the answer is Yes and No...
@jonbonwon, colonelsanta, Equilibrium: Something tells me you guys have never been out of the States, or maybe never even seen a proper ghetto. I don't think Marwords is trying to be a toughguy, in fact this person openly states they are scared of where they live. Napoli is a mafia stronghold, and if you haven't seen it, you should before you make judgements. Also to jonbonwon: This person is from another country, and I'd say their English is pretty damn good. Probably better than your Italian.
@Marwords aie ye no normal guy, extraordinary muff than. Find me a 17 year old spending at least 5% of his free time on the street who didn't caught most of the sights you did, my little extraordinary italian.
Any way Napoli is not what Saviano tells, in his book , movie and fiction of Gomorra there are liots of bullshit, Napoli has many beauties, just visit it and you can discover how wonderful city it is . Lol
BUT THE CAPITAL OF WHAT??? why not say that Naples is the capital of culture, beauty, good food cheap? .. it's cool to play the victim, pointing out problems that all cities in the world have, is advertising that makes a thing to manage all of your destiny, and the usual people like you do not like this great city and make it more ugly than it could !now you feel happy to be having the most voted comment? clap clap clap...
This track is intense AF. Every time I play it in my car it makes going to the grocery store feel like I'm going on a bank heist lmao
Yup, I know exactly what you mean. I feel the same way.
Why u going to the grocery store? Rather care about your fck life man and eat healthy

There could not have been a better moment to play this track than at the end of Gomorra.
Or, Beowulf😌

Not Sicily, Campania in the Naples (Napoli province)
You really can feel the traditional sound of Napoli in that song, Great
I wonder how the mind of Robert del Naja is like.

Massive.
I think that the movie without this song at the end, would have not been the same. This song is the PERFECT end for the movie..
Epic. This song truly epitomizes $hit hitting the fan.
My Soundtrack for Corona , every night in Berlin...
You could have not put it better mate. It sums up the shockwaves that movie sends through your system...

masterpiece!!!!so powerful!
3D heartbeat
Finally! A song that can accommodate insanity.
This song makes me feel like I'm fucking losing my mind...especially when I pull all nighters & this song comes on on my playlists.....
What I can tell you is that I downloaded it from Robert del Naja's Myspace.
Heck this picture is so odd and catchy! I want to go to swim in that sea, as deeply as I can while listening to this music
I think I'll consider it in the Massive repertoire.

I do not know either, but I remember one thing : this song was part of Gomorrah's OST. (great film by the way !)
Chiedilo alla De Filippi...

It is probably a single made by Robert del Naja - not really massive attack... On the other hand, massive attack has been about 40 different persons (all in all) through time, and therefore, the answer is Yes and No...

So move on.

No, I don't. If you're italian we'll better speak in our language, so we won't avoid misunderstandings.
