I'm 57 still playing 4.0 USTA singles and I know that in any singles match you can constantly max out your heart rate, which can be dangerous unless you're in top physical condition. I'm always impressed when I see 60+ seniors still playing singles. These guys are rock stars.
Hey Mike. Thanks for doing this. I have been enjoying watching senior tennis since I found your channel. Hope to see you in Denver one of these days. I am in Santa Fe now but try to get up to Denver to visit often.
Strong tennis, guys! Curious, though, that there aren't singles sticks on the net during tournament play. Is it common to omit them from this level of competition?

Thanks Mike, I just saw this!
Good quality of ball striking here as well as strategic use of the court.

Sounds good, Kyle. I also hope to get to Santa Fe this spring and work with Jimmy Parker again,. He's a great coach!
Thanks Mike!
You bet!

Good observation. I'm not sure why they aren't there. Would love to know why!
Please any insights into the racquets being used?
How do you get to one of those tournaments?
It is very tempting to tell you I fly and then drive, but I don't think you want to hear that. Anyone can enter if they have the money. :)
